Historical midrash Sefer Josipon (10th century). A critical analysis of the text
Křížová, Magdalena ; Oliverius, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šedinová, Jiřina (advisor)
The thesis aims to summarize our existing knowledge about the time of composition and the litcrary context oť an important historiographical work oť the Middle Ages - the so-called Sefer .Josippon. The thesis is divided into three main parts: the tirst one is concerned with critical comparison oť di ťferent conjectures regarding the origins of the boo k, the second attempts to interpret tbc book ťrom the point oťthe history oťJewish literature ofthat period and the tinal part consists ofa C zech translation oť three short extracts of the boo k, that are chosen to demonstrate the styl i sti cal and artistic techniques of the author and his way oť handl ing with hi s literary sources. The tirst part starts with deťining the problem of the authorship of the book. We have shown that Seťcr .fosippon wasn't originally writtcn as pseudo-epigraphical book, but it was traditionally ascribed to Josephus Flavius (called here ,Joseph ben Gorion''. a mistake caused by misunderstandig oť.Josippon ·s sourccs) only later, while in thc original text oťthis chronicle often quotes Josephus as its primary source oť inťormation. The question oťthe causes and time ofthis ascribement has not been succesťully solved. since already in the I O th century the book i s refered to as .,book oť Joseph ben Corion"". The Macroeconomic Analysis with DSGE Models
Průchová, Anna ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor) ; Formánek, Tomáš (referee)
Dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models are derived from microeconomic principles and they retain the hypothesis of rational expectations under policy changes. Thus they are resistant to the Lucas critique. The DSGE model has become associated with new Keynesian thinking. The basic New Keynesian model is studied in this thesis. The three equations of this model are dynamic IS curve, Phillips-curve and monetary policy rule. Blanchard and Kahn's approach is introduced as the solution strategy for linearized model. Two methods for evaluating DSGE models are presented -- calibration and Bayesian estimation. Calibrated parametres are used to fit the model to Czech economy. The results of numeric experiments are compared with empricial data from Czech republic. DSGE model's suitability for monetary policy analysis is evaluated.

The Effects of the New Deal on the social status of Afro-Americans in selected sectors of the US economy
Schwammenhöfer, Tomáš ; Tajovský, Ladislav (advisor) ; Johnson, Zdenka (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the effects of the New Deal legislation on Afro-Americans in the 1930s. Specifically, the thesis analytically focuses on the influence of various politician of this program on their social environment within the US economy. For the ease of understanding of whole issue is needed to know the situation of Afro-Americans in the previous decade as well as in the Great Depression. That is the content of the first two chapters. Subsequently there is the outline of the situation leading to the election of F. D. Roosevelt, US President. The last and as well the most important chapter of the whole thesis is devoted to analysis of individual programs and their impact on Afro-Americans. It concludes that the New Deal had both positive and negative influence on this minority, depending on the economic sector and the relevant administration. New Deal generally meant a huge progress in their economic and political affairs.

Adult education in scout movements
Kaderová, Kateřina ; Štěpánek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the questions of adult education in Jumlk - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ in connection with state regularizations. Apart from the analysis of Czech regularizations, it also mentions the European situation. In the Czech Republic, there is not one law treating the area of non-governmental youth organizations but only partial obligations. Non-governmental organizations can accredit their courses if they observe the state requirements and so does Junak. Europe insists on the quality of non-formal education with which assuring is concerned the project of the organization Youth Forum Jeunesse. Junak - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ has its own multistep educational system for its adult members. Each qualification corresponds to the function executed by volunteers. The concept of competences is gradually gaining ground. It tries to lay down all knowledge, skills and positions needed for successful exercising of each function. Besides, Junak is obliged to tackle all problems and questions arising around its courses and qualifications. Junak also holds a number of non-qualifYing courses of bigger or smaller extent.

Interaktivní orientační systém Gymnázia Ladislava Dúbravy
Almásiová, Veronika
The bachelor thesis is focused on the implementation of the interactive orientation system. After informing the readers about the possibilities of creating panoramic images, analysis of the programs for panoramic image creation and tools to make interactive animations is made. The next part of the thesis is dealing with description of the procedure the interactive panoramic images and creating the web orientation system complemented with interactive panoramic images. Interactive orientation systom will be a part of the official school website.

Strength analysis of cutting tools
Petrlíková, Helena ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on the stress-strain analysis of a cutting tool. At the beginning, the study of available literature and scientific articles relating the topic is carried out. The solution of stresses and strains in whole real system has been carried out based on the computational simulation using the finite element method (FEM). The work contains a detailed description of the creation of the computational model. Model of geometry of the system has been created in the SolidWorks program. Computational simulation including the solution was implemented in the ANSYS Workbench program as well as in the classical environment of ANSYS 12.0. This work includes the presentation of results and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the cutting tool. Last part of this work deals with the modal analysis and harmonic analysis of cutting tools made in classical environment of ANSYS program.

Design of heat exchangers for high temperature applications
Jonák, Martin ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Kermes, Vít (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to thermal-hydraulic design and rating of heat exchangers with the specialized commercial software HTRI. These heat exchangers are solved for real high-temperature applications, where the hot fluid is a flue gas with high temperature (above 500 °C). In the thesis is made a brief analysis of the conventional design of heat exchangers usable for high-temperature aplications, description of the basic relations, description and brief user manual of software HTRI. Further, work includes a comparative study of methods for calculation of pressure drop of the fluid at 180° elbows, as support analysis for solution of required applications characterized by low pressure drop of process fluids.
