This theses reports on facts about pumped storage power plants. The first part of the theses introduces us to the importace of hydropower, consists of a description of historical development of pumping sets, and also defines limitations for its potential suitable localization. The research is processed via ArcGIS software and it´s methodologically divided into three phases. The first phase is searching for the minimum suitable terrain gradient on the whole Czech landscape and it defines local insterests for the next phase of research. The second phase is based on limited factors and assesses the chosen location of interest. The final phase provides detail on the most potentially suitable destinations with specific locations of pumped storage power plants. The study resulted in map outputs of final destinations and locations of interest across the Czech landscape. The distinction of source data and the importace of classification of enviromental factors are included in the discussion.

MICHAL, Petr
Civil Defence was in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in 1990, defined as a set of measures that are intended to prepare the state and the society it lives to defend before the war. Armed conflict in the then bipolar world could occur within a few days because of preparation for such a conflict took place on both sides for decades. Quitting called. Cold War, a period in which to minimize the possibility of a global military confrontation. However, the newly defined and continue to occur, often difficult to predict, security threats and risks. Protection of lives, health and property values, along with sovereignty, territorial integrity and protection of the democratic foundations of the newly formed Czech Republic, the basic duty of the state. Responsibility for the protection of the population in the newly constructed system of protection of the population in the Czech Republic, partially transferred and distributed to all levels of government, including municipalities and small towns. Newly constructed Integrated rescue system became progressively a linchpin in the coordination of activities and procedures in preparing for emergencies in rescue and clean up operations and to protect against the crisis states, and after the state of emergency. This thesis is aimed to carry out data collection from ten cities of the reporting period with extended powers, which is based in the South Region. File data collected will be evaluated and the evaluation in order to determine the economic performance of the financing protection of the population in a particular city. The assessment will be done in relation to the basic element of civil protection units which are voluntary municipal fire brigade. The thesis will be evaluated the impact of funding fire protection budget of the municipality. Work wonders, what is the trend in financing those units while trying to answer the question, what is the impact on the budget funding specific community. Both responses will be made a conclusion that communicate, whether financing is adequate fire protection units or not. Investigations will be carried out at one of the village extended powers, therefore, from a global perspective, this will not result in a valid conclusion about the crucial work. Wider research on the topic, with a similar focus, however, may, if the interests of society, such data can bring.

Motivace, hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců zákaznického servisu
Schovancová, Leona
This work focuses on very topical issue, and that is motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees in customer service. All three areas are closely linked, and only their mutual optimization and compliance can increase efficiency and productivity in customer service. It is a very specific area in which most employees not only care about existing customers, but gain new customers, provide information, handle claims and complaints and they are the gateway for each company. Customer Service is demanding in both, quantitatively and qualitatively to human resources. Businesses try to find a reasonable balance between the cost of human resources and their further education and the required power and goal fulfillment. As in the care and sales, good human resources are of the highest importance. It is not enough just to hire good people, they must be further developed educated and coached. It is necessary to focus on their motivation, it is not always possible to motivate each employee in the customer service individually, rather their preference and needs should be determined and those should be satisfied. Most employees prefer clear and objective assessment in connection with a transparent system of remuneration. It should also be a business objective. Sales are more and more important activity in customer service and it is no longer sufficient just to take care of existing customers. It is necessary to develop retention measures, and especially focus on the acquisition and re-acquisition activities. Success is critical for motivation and quality of staff. The thesis is therefore focused on identifying ways to optimize human resources management, especially in the areas of evaluation and remuneration so as to achieve even higher productivity and to fulfill sales plans. Based on the found strengths and weaknesses in employee satisfaction surveys with regard to one of the strategic objectives of the RWE Group, which is to increase market share in electricity, this means the need to increase sales, there has been proposed modification of the current system for evaluating employees' customer centers with a direct impact on remuneration. Modified system of evaluation of service employees will be more motivating, because overreaching of sales plan will be the possibility to receive up to 50 % more of variable wage component. Newly, evaluated will not be only sales figures, but the effort to sell as well. Monitored customer centers are in different locations and the CR has different regional conditions, which are mainly the different practices and different people and activities of competitors. It is important to recognize and motivate employees to implement the menus, although they are not always used. Evaluation protocol for internal supervision was modified significantly; greater significance was given to the criteria that directly support the current performance targets. Significant changes were also seen in the evaluation protocol that includes not only an overview of evaluation results, but there is listed the number of sales made, the amount of bonuses received for the sale, to calculate the total variable part of total wages and salaries to be paid. In the area of remuneration for service staff proposed a change of the ratio of fixed and variable components of wages from the current 85 : 15 to 80 : 20. Optimized system of remuneration consists of salary, bonuses and rewards for sales and rewards for sales in sales contests. Newly was developed a system of pay commission sales in customer centers. The proposed salary is fixed at the minimum wage for the group work in the CR, it is 8900 CZK. Now the average fixed salary of vendors is 15 660 CZK. Employees will have a greater portion of variable pay. The largest share of the variable component will be bonuses for the number of concluded contracts. Due to higher incentive bonus payment system for contracts, it is designed progressively. Newly, there is no upper limit for wages. Part of the variable components of wages will continue to be paid for customer-oriented access and correct communication; the evaluation will be conducted according to the newly proposed system for sellers' evaluation. Dissertation on a specific department analyzes current situation in the customer service in the area of motivation, evaluation and remuneration. It identifies strengths and weaknesses and proposes solutions for eliminating of weaknesses. Not always, however, the interests of employees and the company are in compliance, the work focuses on optimizing of these areas especially in terms of achieving its goals, it means from the viewpoint of a business.

NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner

STRATEGIC SOLUTION Bratislavska street and its surroundings acts as a heterotopy, it is heterogeneous with the city. Impermeability of the territory in both directions is characteristic for the place. This membrane is the greatest opportunity and the greatest danger of the area. The area is exceptional in the context of Brno. It’s nature is beyond the nature of the rest of the city and offers a different format than is usual. It is necessary to consider how to open the city to Brno and do not smother the full potential of the place at the same time. It is not possible to avoid the process of gentrification. To preserve the status quo. This would have the same negative impact as a one-way gentrification, which is the most real danger for the area. Damping diversity and replacement of the selection with only one variant can’t be beneficial. It is necessary to install another heterotopy. To support the creation of conflict - with the belief that every encounter between two different elements generates new paths and ways of behavior. Allow the development and advance that wouldn’t have existed in the interaction taking place within homogeneous group. Of course, even two incompatible elements begin to adapt to each other and tend to coexist. And therefore it is necessary to add a new heterotopia. I think it is requisite that the architecture hosts new heterotopias and requires new conflict. The most diverse range of people should coexist in one place and the group should be variable at the same time. The more residents are forced to meet, know about themselves, perceive the differences , the more they will be forced to react and interact with each other and they will evolve. Therefore it is necessary that the walls are formed by the membrane that will allow the greatest number of meetings, or conflicts. These meetings may be simple observing. For this reason the building is transparent with open paths. Porches and courtyards act naturally as an auditorium and a stage. The gallery also can act as a transition between external and internal, public and private. Part of the conflicts defined by my draft is finding the threshold between internal and external, public and private , exterior and interior. It is about definition of the extent of the membrane, walls, doors, windows. The relationship between the courtyard and the street. Interior space is always shaped by its inhabitants. The same applies in the public space, which arises from many disparate elements, guests, locals or visitors . The architecture of public space can’t limit the space itself. It must be flexible and imaginative.

The main issue of the place is a future. The design close corner of Bratislavska street and Old street, where historically always been the building. Closing the street line and the completion of the streets. The object smoothly recede in the street in Bratislava backwards. It creates a small, but very important public area. Fee of the real street is very essential for the further development of the area. The design responds to the local environment. Most of the courtyards is dysfunctional in terms of human and aesthetic. The design creates a separate world - paradise - inside the block.

The area where the parcel is located , is in direct contact with the Brno city. The urban context and understanding of the context of the environment here is very difficult. This part of the city, Zabrdovice, has a rich history , tradition places but there is a very variable. The scale changes literally every step . It shall there any regulation , however, the studied area is gaining charm and potential. It lies mainly in the near walking distance from the center of Brno , in a large number of vacant spaces and undeveloped land ( the so-called brownfields ) . Consequently there is very important to clearly link the architectural and urban solutions , on which the concept of my work is based. Absence of parks, gardens and public space is evident. Places are not defined , you can not name them with a single word. I chose a bright urban concept with clear operational solutions feature a predominance of residential buildings and developing the potential of public space. The proposal supports the compact impression plots , austere but refined expression of support context locations near the city center .
