Presentation of exhibitions in state chateaux in Eastern Bohemia after Second Word War

The period after Second Word started the changes in many areas in Bohemia. The new era also affected castles and chateaux, whose onwer became the state. Their next progression was decided by Nacional Cultural Commission. This institution selected sights to be conserved as museums but many of them were chosen for use by schools, children's homes or as hotels. The topic of this thesis is post-war presentation at monuments in Eastern Bohemia. These are the castles of Náchod, Ratibořice, Opočno and Slatiňany which are not far from each other. Their post-war progression was very different. The thesis will focus on the history of these monuments, the firts years after war, the work of Nacional Cultura Commission, the sorting of equipment, the form of the first exhibitons, the introductory historical exhibitions, guide texts ane the presentation of installations from 1990 to the present. The importace of the Hildprandt von Ottenhausen Family for Blatná region

The aim of this thesis is to point out the various contributions (cultural, economic, political, entrepreneurial, etc.) of the aristocratic family Hildprandt von Ottenhausen for Blatná region. At the begining, various views on the determination of the Blatná reigon are compared. The history of the family line is also reviewed. Most attention is given to the activites of the Hildprandt family which were beneficial for the Blatná region. Hildprandts von Ottenhausen contributed to the development of the Blatná castle, they also remade the adjacent forest to a park. Thanks to them, industrial activities (sugar industry, distilling industry or beer industry) flourished in this region and many people became employed in these companies or on the farm owned by the Hildprandts. Many prominent persons visited Blatná, as guests of the noble family, amongst these persons was Franz Ferdinand d'Este, heir to the Austrian monarchy, or an indian maharaja. Hildprandts employed some of the Czech patriots (Jan Evangelista Purkyně a Antonín Jaroslav Vrťátko), those patriots taught next generations of the family love for their country. Some members of this family enriched Blatná with their artistic talent through their creations (painting, sculpture or writing activity). In political sphere, their patriotic thinking...
Renovation of the castle in Velké Němčice

This bachelor thesis deals with the restoration of a castle in Velké Němčice. The thesis builds on an architectural study carried out in the AG033 course of the Restoration of Monuments Studio. The task of the thesis is to create a complete project for the appropriate restoration and reconstruction of the castle and to propose its new utilization. At the same time, the thesis focuses on the solution of the castle's immediate surroundings. The object of the solution will be designed as a socially cultural object with administrative functions. The castle should serve as a new town hall, and in accordance with this, the following rooms will be created in the castle: a ceremonial hall, information center, mayor's office, secretary's office, registry office, accountant's office, archive, library, club room, refreshment facility, and interactive room. To achieve the implementation of the new operation in the castle, the correct restoration of the historical object is necessary. Using surveys and historical sources, I examine the architectural values and construction of the building. I strive to preserve historically significant layers, remove intrusive modern elements, and return the object its original expression. With the help of new technologies, I also strive to preserve the building for future generations. I propose minimum use of modern structures and elements, and therefore mainly focus on proper reconstruction and restoration.
Restoration of the chateau in Velke Nemcice

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the restoration of the chateau in Velké Němčice. The project is based on the subject AG033 - Architectural Design Studio 3 - restoration of monuments. The origins of the history of the castle in Velké Němčice probably date back to the middle of the 16th century when the original gothic fortress was rebuilt into a renaissance castle. The chateau has changed many owners over the centuries and has been rebuilt many times. During the second half of the 20th century, it was used for some time as a elementary school, then even as a small textile production or restaurant. At present is the chateau without usage. The current town councillors are planning to buy the castle from the state and use it as a municipality office of Velké Němčice. The project will also conclude the area around the castle, which should become a worthy cultural centre of the village. The area will work as a municipal park to be used for the recreation of residents. An important part of the project is adding of the greenery, new pavements, and central paved area for outdoor cultural events and the addition of benches or a children's playground. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the complex restoration of the chateau in Velké Němčice. However, the historic appearance of the chateau and the overall genius loci should be preserved. The castle will be treated as a historically valued and protected building.

The work deals with storage furniture from recycled paper, due to sustainable design, the current excessive paper waste and low-cost living. In order for the product to remain on the market, it tries to combine the principles of solitaires with modular systems. Cardboard is intended as the final material. The work addresses the design, ergonomics and aesthetic appearance in the context of purchasing potential.
The castle in Komařice - its contruction changes and the culture-historical value

Komařice Castle - its architectural changes and cultural and historical significance The Renaissance Chateau of Komařice is a building of high quality and demanding stonework, which has largely preserved its original Renaissance appearance to this day. It was built by Jiřík Kořenský from Terešov together with his wife Kristýna Dráchovská from Dráchov around 1565. The bachelor thesis deals with the construction history of the building, in its first part, gradually introducing the Komařice owners in each periods. In the subsequent description of the building, it captures and analyzes the individual important elements of the castle in detail. It does not omit other buildings that originally belonged to the castle, especially the granary, former brewery and other farm buildings in the castle complex. The following part of the work presents the reconstruction of the regional significance of Komařice castle in the early modern period. It also points out the importance of the building in comparison with other Renaissance buildings in Bohemia, which, like here, probably used the treatises on architecture by Sebastian Serlio. The work draws attention to the serious loses that the building suffered after the change of the owners during the land reforms in the 1920 s. The last part of the work summarizes the monumental values of the castle and outlines the future fate of the building.

The thesis recapitulates leisure-time activities on selected historic sites administered by the National Heritage Institute, Regional Historic Sites Management in České Budějovice. It describes the life in three different types of historic residences - Švihov Castle, Kladruby Monastery and Manětín Mansion, concisely summing up their history. Suggestions concerning the particular general plans for spending leisure time on the mentioned sites are contained in a separate chapter. The final specific project offers a solution to the guided sight-seeing tour of Švihov Castle.

This bacherole work deals with theory of efectively creating worksheets, their forms and purposes for pupils of middle school. Touching importace regional theme in contens primary education with link to document RVP ZV. One of the chapters contains introducing monuments and signifiant places in village named Budíškovice in the south of Bohemia. On this monuments are based individually topics and tasks of worksheets named Budíškovice křížem krážem. Trought this worksheets pupils can to learn new and interesting informations about it. Part of the project part of work is description individual sheets, their graphic form and evaluation.
Stráž nad Nežárkou in pictures (theoretical-practical thesis)

This bachelor thesis is focused on history and present of Stráž nad Nežárkou using available historical sources. It deals with the connection of the historical cultural heritage and the current life in the town. The thesis maps monuments from the point of view of changes, architectural uses and activities of outstanding personalities. For illustration, the work is supplemented with pictorial documentation. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the documentation of the contemporary appearance of selected localities and architecturally historical monuments, which the author captured in the study using various art techniques.
