Creation the taskbar in the program MicroStation for documentation the current state of the building

The bachelor's thesis describes the creation of a panel of tasks and, with it, the creation of a work set for the passporting of buildings according to ČSN 01 3420 Drawings of building structures - Drawing drawings of building parts in the MicroStation CONNECT Edition program. The work contains detailed instructions for creating new libraries of user lines, cells and the *.dgnlib file. An annotation scale was used to create the working set. The working set can be used to obtain simplified construction documentation/passport. The functionality of the Passport work set was verified on sample drawings of the plan, vertical section and perspective.

V předkládané brožuře jsou zveřejněny vybrané údaje za následující obory: divadlo, galerie, muzea a památníky, hvězdárny, planetária a astronomické pozorovatelny, veřejné knihovny, památkové objekty zpřístupněné za vstupné, neperiodické publikace a periodický tisk. Údaje ekonomické povahy jsou k dispozici pouze za subjekty veřejného sektoru, kulturní subjekty v soukromém sektoru je neposkytují.

Gender differences in reading habits among children

This diploma thesis deals with children's relationship to books and reading and, above all, possible differences between girls and boys in their approach to reading. Its goal is to find out what the reading culture is like among children between the ages of ten and sixteen. The work also aims to find out what, if any, differences there are in reading between girls and boys. This was determined through a quantitative method, namely a survey research. Respondents are children and young people attending lower gymnasiums or the second level of primary schools in various places in the Czech Republic, which were randomly selected. The main themes of the work are differences in the frequency and popularity of reading, as well as the preferences of children and young people when choosing individual books, the influence of school, family and the respondents' close surroundings on their reading habits. The work reveals the differences in reading between girls and boys and shows whether children's reading culture is declining or the opposite.

Czech libraries on the social network service Facebook

The goal of this thesis is to find out how the Czech libraries present themselves on the social network - Facebook. It consists of five sections and conclusion. The first section describes a current status of the internet and the social networks, possibilities of communication and feedback in these environments and defines the "new generation" of the libraries' users. The second section describes Facebook's social network in greater detail. The third part describes integration of the Czech libraries into this environment. The fourth section consists of analysis and practical piece: the survey and its conclusions. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of gathered information on presentation of the Czech libraries on the Facebook social network and survey carried out on the group of the Czech Libraries Web Administrators on this network.

Diploma thesis " Information and library services for students of art schools with a focus on dramatic and musical art in the Czech Republic " aims to analyze the environment of libraries with a fund focused on music and theater, which serves students of art schools. This thesis also describes library and information services and the impact of copyright law to provide services in libraries with a fund containing score, audio and audiovisual media. The last section describes methodology of qualitative research and evaluates research by force field analyzing method and also analyzed findings and recommendations to address the identified facts.

The barriers to the use of library services by migrants from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine

The bachelor thesis deals with barrier problems, which appear in communication between migrant, who could be Russian, Ukrainian or Belarusian, and Czech librarian. The first chapter devoted to theoretical introduction in intercultural communication; describes such terms as culture, national minority, assimilation and others. The second chapter devoted to detailed analysis of barriers (language, psychological), which can influence on communication of both sides. The third chapter focuses to foreigners (their types: migrant, refugee, asylum seeker) and on the types of residence, that migrants can obtain in the Czech Republic. There is also briefly describes the Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians (reasons for migration, the number of migrants in the Czech Republic and so on.). The fourth chapter is practical and describes how is the situation in the Municipal Library in Prague, as well as research - including their preparation, methodology, process and results - which were analyzed by me in the two branches of this library. Both librarians and migrants took part in this research; and opinions of both groups are presented. .
