Mechanical waves of air particles set in motion by a vibrating body
Coufalová, Kristýna ; Suchánek, Jiří (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
The work deals with the sound in its various forms outside the music scene in connection with fine arts. Experimentally modulates different positions between visual and audio elements. Do the musical components of shows and exhibitions only serve to manipulate emotions, or are they original autonomic works? The artistic result will be the creation of an experimental situation of direct confrontation of sound with live action. The work was significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic, so it deals more specifically with sound/music in the virtual space and the issue of their transmission.
Noise map in GIS
Awadová, Thuraya ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a noise map in a geographic information system. First of all, physical features of sound and the basics concerning the spatial, physiological and atmospheric acoustics domain will be introduced. Furthermore, we will analyse noise and its possible influence on the health of people. Substantial part of this thesis will be devoted to the methodology of noise measurement in urban agglomerations and to the issue of creating noise maps. The methodology of noise measurement in a particular area will be determined on the basis of the theoretical background. Geographic information system ArcView 9.2 from the ARCDATA firm (Ltd.) will be used for creating the noise map. The final noise map will be compared to the current hygienic limits. For comparison reasons an analysis of noise map using software CadnaA, which is used in professional analysis of noise studies, will be included in this thesis too.
Tube Microphone
Škoda, Adam ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Staněk, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with a tube microphone using a condenser microphone capsule for sound capturing. Moreover, two essential aspects of a tube microphone – the basis of its operation and its design – are also discussed in this thesis. In the designed microphone, there is a vacuum tube known as ECC81. This vacuum tube is used as an amplifying element of an input sound signal. This paper also includes the choice of the most suitable microphone circuit, its modification and the design of a voltage source used for feeding and heating the vacuum tube. Some appropriate simulations were applied to find out the functionality of all designed parts of the microphone system. Following step was the practical realization of all microphone parts as well as the activation and the complete parameters and characteristics measurements of realized microphone system. After the provided measurements, the microphone was compared to equivalent commercial products. Evidently, the realized microphone is qualitatively similar to other commercial products. Presented thesis also contains the list of components and PCBs.
Acoustic diagnostics of combustion engines operating conditions
Závorka, Dalibor ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Zubík, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to hand over a compact overview of methods and today’s available equipment for the acoustic diagnostics of combustion engines. There are described the basic principles of diagnostics and acoustic diagnostics including definition of their basic terms. Work further deals with the description of methods and accessories of acoustic diagnostics and explains principles of their usage. Final chapter is dedicated to detailed description of the most common sound expressions of engine, signalling occurred or oncoming failure. Explaining the origins of particular sound, what can be its consequences and how to prevent these problems.
UNTITLED
Ambrůz, Kryštof ; Mazanec,, Martin (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
In my diploma thesis I do not deal with anything, I do not touch anything, and in the end I do not want to do anything. I work without a theme, without motivation.
Determination of the Material Acoustic Impedance
Vozárová, Juliana ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the determination of the material acoustic absorption in an impedance tube. The aim of the work is to propose a measuring experiment and to design measuring device with the intention of reducing costs. The aim is to carry out a measuring experiment on a manufactured measuring device. The results of the experiment are evaluated in terms of meeting the requirements formeasuring device. The results of the tested materials are compared with the values from the supplier.

Ščudla, Marek ; Doležel, Matěj (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is my next music project, followed by instalation and merchandise. I was solving the questions about trends, genre and its boundaries. I was inspired by past and I was trying to fit it into contemporary context.
Microphone array application
Toman, Vít ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with description of issues of reading spatial audio signals using microphone array. Basic method of beamforming (Delay and Sum) is characterized on basis of chosen conception of the microphone array. Specific issues of audio detection and digital signal processing of converted audio signals are characterized and some ways how to solve the issues are adumbrated. Features and limitations of chosen ARM processor in the digital processing of multiple audio signals are described. Especially features and limitations of an internal A/D converter from the perspective of the beamforming are described.
Determination of Acoustic Properties of Sound-Absorbing Materials
Ďurica, Matej ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on experimental determination of acoustic absorption of four different material samples. The aims of the work include: research on the given issue, determination of the procedure for the performance of a technical experiment and modification of the measuring device for the determination of acoustic absorption. The performed experiments were evaluated and the results of the sound absorption coefficient were compared with the values given by the manufacturer. Sensitivity analyzes of the experiments were performed.
Multifunction speaker with wireless connectivity
