Products Creation for Destination of South Slovácko

This thesis is dealing with problems of creating products in the tourist destination South Slovácko. In the introductory part there are described theoretical solutions of thesis, first of all essence of the management and marketing of destination, touristic products and product creation. In the second part there are realized analysis, which are focused on evaluate of current destination condition, including analysis of touristic demand and comparison with the biggest competitors. Closing part is dealing with the design of the products, which should make touristic destinations more attractive.

This master's thesis is focused on examining the consumer behavior of tourists visiting the South Moravian region. The primary objective is to identify and analyze the characteristics of visitors to the researched destination with a particular emphasis on their consumer behavior and to create visitor profiles. Additionally, the study aims to compare the behavior of visitors before and after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research involved collecting data from 1913 respondents through a questionnaire survey. By utilizing cluster analysis, visitor behavior was identified and compared with the pre-pandemic visitor profiles provided by the CzechTourism agency. The results contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the changes in consumer behavior brought about by the pandemic. The thesis concludes with practical proposals and recommendations tailored for the benefit of tourism organizations.

Blažeková, L. The satisfaction of foreign visitors in destination South Moravia. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of satisfaction factors in the tourist destination Jižní Morava. A face-to-face field research was conducted in 5 areas of the region of South Moravia. The questionnaire survey took place in the months of June to September 2022 to collect primary data, of which 370 questionnaires were used for the purpose of this work. The aim of the work is to compare the satis-faction in the areas of Brno and surroundings, Slovácko, Pálava and Lednice-Valtice Area, Moravian Karst and Znojemsko and Podyjí. Furthermore, the correla-tion of the rating of overall satisfaction with the rating of individual factors was examined. On the basis of the research results, suggestions for improving the factors causing visitor dissatisfaction are made.
Portugal as a tourist destination

The main aim of this thesis is to characterize Portugal as a tourism destination, as well as to analyze the current situation of the tourism industry in this destination, and to try to outline the possible options for future development. The partial aims of the thesis, that should help to achieve the main goal, are: the description of economic development of Portugal in a past few years, the analysis of the offer of the tourism products in the destination, the demarcation of the position of tourism industry in Portuguese economy and last but not least the desciption of current tourism policy in the country. This thesis uses especially electronic sources, that are available online. These are mainly annual reports, statistics and research papers. The thesis then also uses literature, which is relevant to the topic of the thesis. After brief introduction at the beginning, the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter has a theoretical character and contains the definitions of specialized terms of economic field as well as of tourism industry field. The second chapter provides basic information and facts about Portugal. The third chapter is dedicated to political and economic characterization of Portugal. The last chapter is about tourism in destination Portugal, about its current situation, as well as about its possible development in the future. The thesis then ends with a conclusion, that summarize the whole work.

This bachelor thesis deals with the impact of the accommodation facility on the development of cultural tourism destinations. It consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts we can meet in this issue and other necessary theoretical information which we apply in the practical part. The aim of the work is to evaluate whether the guests of the chosen accommodation use the attractiveness of the given place and thus contribute to the development of the product of the destination. The work also deals with consumer behavior of tourists in the hotel and given destination, and a questionnaire survey identifies whether they use the attractions offered and whether they want to return to the destination. Several analyzes are performed to show the situation of the given destination.

Perception of Attractiveness of Poland as a Tourism Space by Population of Czechia

The doctoral thesis is devoted to analyzing the perception of attractiveness of Poland as a tourism space from the perspective of Czech citizens in a broader context of mutual Czech -Polish relations in tourism. The thesis is primarily based on theoretical concepts of geography of tourism and at the same time it also follows other geographical and scientific disciplines. The methodological framework of the thesis benefits from the openness and multi-disciplinary nature of tourism. Part of the thesis was created using traditional methods and techniques applied in geography, among others: questionnaire research among students, structured interviews with employees of travel agencies, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Polish governmental institutions, and analyses of the Internet and printed sources. Additionally, there were utilized methods and techniques used more frequently in other disciplines, including: Delphi method, SWOT analysis, mystery shopping, analysis of travelogues, Internet sources of information about Poland, and content of textbooks. Selected Factors of Competitiveness of Tourist Destinations

The subject of the thesis named "The selected factors of competitiveness of tourist destinations", is defining issues of the regions, regional competitiveness and ways to measure it. This work is divided into two parts. In theoretical part I describe the characteristics of tourism, the competitiveness of tourism and ways of its measuring. In the practical part I concentrate on the Shumava-west microregion, analysis of selected factors of destination competitiveness and comparison of selected factors of competitiveness of two microregions. The conclusion consists of summary rating and improving proposals for the status of the Shumava-west microregion on the tourism market.
Competitiveness of Český Krumlov Destination

The thesis deals with the issues of the rival tourist destinations and the question concerned with the measurement of competitiveness. The objective is to propose tactical measures for the Destination management company of the town Český Krumlov and thereby strengthen the competitive position of this destination. To meet the goals of the thesis it proceeds from the research of foreign approaches to measure competitiveness that is modified in conditions of the Czech tourist destination. It specifically uses AHP method to determine the importance of the competitiveness's factors and combination of different techniques for gathering information to assess the degree of fulfilling these factors. The data obtained from Český Krumlov are compared with other competing destinations in the Czech Republic and on its basis it formulates appropriate recommendations (measures).
Sustainable tourism for example in Ústecký region

The aim of this study is to evaluate the state of tourism in the Ústecký region based on the analysis. Based on that information, the literature review and the questionnaire for the field research are formed. The research continued with the interviews and follow up discussions with experts in tourism. After processing the results the hypotheses which were established at the beginning of the thesis have either been confirmed or disproved. Based on results, there was a suggestion in the last part of the work to implement a new product in the destination. The aim is to develop areas that do not have a positive image in the media reputation and to highlight the potential of tourism in the Ústecký region.
