Area of ethics in Egon Bondy's philosophy
Macháčková, Petra ; Zika, Richard (advisor) ; Holeček, Tomáš (referee)
Area of ethics in Egon Bondy's philosophy is a kind of treatise and interpretation mainly of Bondy's nonsubstance ontology apart from philosophical antropology and the ethics. In this thesis comes out that nonsubstance ontology as a presentation of reality without any transcendent principle determining the view and continuity of reality is very important for each human. Human has an opened perspective of independent behaviour and can find the real sense of own human being. According to Bondy's meaning the human makes a part of ontological reality which has spontaneously developed to the reality with present rationality. Nevertheless the human is not a wholy rational being yet but neither only a biological being. Human is in advanced stage leading to the future type of human called posthuman. Posthuman needs to live in such reality where he can self-realized and which can reflect his specifics to the others spaces. All these conditions are possible and enabled in one area, the ethics. The kind and range of the ethics area is the key aspect of this thesis.
Human Nature by Benedict de Spinoza
Haiklová, Markéta ; Jirsa, Jakub (advisor) ; Hill, James (referee)
This paper consists of more parts. Firstly, it includes a theoretical introduction on Spinoza's concept of substance, substantial attributes and modes of extension and thought. The theoretical introduction serves as a background for the following examination of human nature in Spinoza's Ethics. In the chapters concerning human nature, which are introduced by chapters on intellect, imagination, memory and three different kinds of knowledge, our idea of "double nature" is presented. This characteristic of nature is deductible from the concept of adequate and inadequate knowledge and it becomes a presupposition for our further interpretation, which deals with the problem of parallelism/dualism of modes of extension and thought. This topic is treated in part V of Ethics where also the question of destruction of human body and the eternal part of mind is discussed.

Univerzita Karlova v Praze Filosofická fakulta katedra estetiky Diploma thesis Šimon Svěrák Situation of the Surrealist Subject (abstract) 2012 thesis supervisor: prof. PhDr. Vlastimil Zuska, CSc. Abstract This thesis focuses on the situation of a substantial subject in the historical development of the surrealist experience and confronts it with our original postmodern interpretation of thoughts of early Marx. The surrealist consciousness is based on a dialectical opposition between rational and irrational elements of cognitive processes. André Breton apprehends this dialectics under the perspective of love life and relates it to values of love, freedom and poetry. Nevertheless, this conception changes in the immanent development of the surrealist consciousness from Breton over the work and thoughts Salvador Dalí and Mikuláš Medek to Vratislav Effenberger. Effenberger removes positive values from surrealism and puts emphasis on the critical functions of the irrational. On the psychological field, all these ideas are based on the conception of the unconscious which means there is the substantial approach in them. Our critical interpretation of Marx shows, that the surrealist concept of subject is in the contradiction with its substantial determination. The subject has to be perceived as the essential...
