The Vocation of the Apostle Paul: Exegesis and Theological Aspects of Acts 9, 22, 26 and Gal 1

Aim of this diploma thesis "The Vocation of the Apostle Paul: Exegesis and Theological Aspects of Acts chs. 9, 22, 26 and Gal 1" is briefly present historical data of the Apostle Paul, present his personality. Especially it is concentrating on his conversion and vocation and New Testament texts that refer about this events (Acts chs. 9, 22, 26 and Gal 1). Part of this work is to analyze four reports of Paul's vocation. Thesis points on difference or conections between them. The thesis exposes vocation in context of biblical theology and symbol of light. This diploma thesis attempt to present St. Paul's personality and to show his merit for present. Moral aspects in the story of the first Book of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Attempt at a view of narrative ethics

C. S. Lewis was one of the greatest Christian apologists of modern times. He did not only write in Christianity defence, he also wrote a lot about morality and its close interrelationship with faith. This work aims, to demonstrate the moral message put into his work for children, specifically in the story I. Part of the Chronicles of Narnia. It tries to answer the question of whether they can be understood as a general parable of Christian life, spiritual warfare, or inner transformation of a man meeting God. It aims to show precisely the situation hidden in the story, which can be applied to everyday life situations. For example, issues stemming from (in my opinion) the most impressive image of the entire book: What gave strength to Edmund turn from evil to good after meeting with Aslan? What is the nature of this image from the perspective of moral theology and how it is applicable in our Christian life? In this work, I rely on the concept of ethics in other books by C. S. Lewis. Guilt - the view of the theological ethics

This work examines from various points of view the role and signifikance of guilt within the history of humankind and a man, shows the traps and obstacles during its processing as well as the destructive consequences of the unprocessed guilt in life of every culpable human being and his/her relations with other people and the God. The first part is focused on its possible understanding and division within the framework of a certain philosophical thinking, first of all in the horizontal level of human relations. After the rational reflection of the subject of guilt and its systematical division within the philosophical thoughts follows up the vertical view of the faith upon the guilt as a sin in contributions of catholic theologists and the tradition of Magisterium in the following chapter. The third section, using a method of biblical exegesis, shows its effect and chances to overcome it with a help of God within the life stories of selected biblical characters of The Old and The New Testament. The last part of the work pays attention to the paradox of a "felix culpa" and the chances, that are offered to the culprits in the specific environment of a prison. Mention Metanoia in Pastoral and Social Work

This bachelor thesis deals with the term metanoia, which can be replaced by the more familiar term conversion. It is a decision for a radical change of life, which involves the whole person and leads to transformation and new orientation of values and standards. It is about turning away from the current way of life and turning to God. This is a personal response to God's invitation to his fellowship. The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of conversion and put it into the context of selected areas of social and pastoral practice. The first part deals with the essence of conversion and the question what conversion brings. In the second part, some of the stories of biblical figures from the Old and New Testament are analysed. The process of metanoia and its aspects are well captured in this stories. Finally, the third and the fourth parts are devoted to the meaning of metanoia for pastoral and social practice. It is shown that just here metanoia has its place.
