C. S. Lewis byl jedním z největších křesťanských apologetů moderní doby. Nepsal však pouze spisy obhajující křesťanství, psal také mnoho o morálce a jejím sepětí s vírou. Tato práce si klade za cíl doložit, jaká morální poselství vložil do své tvorby pro děti, konkrétně pak do příběhu I. dílu Letopisů Narnie. Snaží se odpovědět na otázku, zda je lze chápat jako obecné podobenství o křesťanském životě, duchovním boji nebo vnitřní proměně člověka při setkání s Bohem. Klade si za cíl ukázat právě ty situace ukryté v příběhu, které lze aplikovat na běžné životní situace. Jako příklad lze uvést otázky pramenící (dle mého) z nejpůsobivějšího obrazu celé knihy: Co dalo sílu Edmundovi obrátit se od zla k dobru po setkání s Aslanem? Jaká je podstata tohoto obrazu z pohledu morální teologie a jak je uplatnitelná v našem křesťanském životě? Tato práce se opírá o pojetí etiky v dalších knihách C. S. Lewise. He did not only write in Christianity defence, he also wrote a lot about morality and its close interrelationship with faith. This work aims, to demonstrate the moral message put into his work for children, specifically in the story I. Part of the Chronicles of Narnia. It tries to answer the question of whether they can be understood as a general parable of Christian life, spiritual warfare, or inner transformation of a man meeting God. It aims to show precisely the situation hidden in the story, which can be applied to everyday life situations. For example, issues stemming from (in my opinion) the most impressive image of the entire book: What gave strength to Edmund turn from evil to good after meeting with Aslan? What is the nature of this image from the perspective of moral theology and how it is applicable in our Christian life? In this work, I rely on the concept of ethics in other books by C. S. Lewis.
