Minor sports in photography

This bachelor thesis comprises of theoretial and practical part. The theoretical part uses interviews with professional czech sport photographers and relevant literature to define minor sports and its specific features, furthermore it compares photography of well-known major sports such as ice hockey or basketball to. This thesis also focuses mainly on the importance of photography within the media coverage and awareness of minor sports in subsequent chapters. Finally, there is a methodological chapter that describes the way the materials were processed and the creation of the practical section, which is designed as a photobook and offers an insight in a small world of lacrosse. It captures not only the games, but also the trainings and visually attractive backstage.
Comparison of selected minority sports in the Czech Republic from the player, spectator and management aspects

Title: Comparison of selected minority sports in the Czech Republic from the player, spectator and management aspects Objective: The aim of this work is to analyze the current situation in American football, frisbee and lacrosse in Prague and make suggestions for future improvements. Methods: The applied methods included the study of literature, collection of information, questionnaire examining players motivation and SWOT analysis. The research was conducted through surveys among athletes doing this sports. Results: Research has shown that the best prospects are waiting for frisbee, which benefits from minimum requirements for equipment and space. American football and lacrosse will probably never become mass sports, but using the above suggestions can improve their current position. Results: Mayor's Lax Cup is a promising sports event with plenty of room for improvement. Based on these imperfections I made a list of suggestions and proposals for next years. Perspectives of organizing a winter lacrosse tournament

Title: Perspectives of lacrosse tournament organisation Objectives: The main objective is analysis of the previous editions of the tournament organised by SK Lacrosse Jižní Město, and coming up with suggestions on how to improve it in the following years. Methods: Case Study is a method used for conducting the survey. Data is collected through documents analysis and semi-structured interviews. Based on the collected data, analysis of the internal environment is carried out. Results: Winter lax cup is a well organised event for it's size with a potential to grow and annual profit. His biggest virtue is the modern sport hall where the tournament takes place. However his weak factor is small support of the event from sponsors. The biggest danger for the tournament organisation is taking over the hall by floorball teams.
