Creative centre - Koprivnice

Right in the city center, there is a plot with old factory halls. These halls are fascinating and have great potential. But now, they are more of an obstacle. They form a barrier, they are in poor condition, and it robs the city of its values. In my diploma thesis entitled Creative Center in Kopřivnice, in addition to the design of the creative center, I will also deal with how to use the beauty and potential of these old halls, further, how to create beautiful and modernized buildings with a new value. I want to open the whole area, to create a place where people would like to meet and where various functions will be mixed- a place for fun, relaxation, culture, education or even just a shopping or walk. The work is very diverse - from the urban design of the entire plot, through the revitalization of old industrial halls and the layout of a new building, to the interior design of a new gallery.

Multi-function Cultural Centre "Creative City" in Brno

The diploma thesis Multifunctional Culture Centre ‘Creative City’ Brno deals with the architectural study of rebuilding and extension of the former prison building in Bratislavská and Soudní street in Brno for cultural, social and commercial purposes. The project includes a new use of the existing building for creative industries, commercial activities and services. There are apartments in the new extension. The parking places are situated below the ground level in the northern part of the complex. The building complex creates a pleasant environment contributing the creativity.

Creative center in the former penitentiary? The diploma work should answer these questions: Does Brno have a potential for a creative center? What do creative people in Brno need? How could the creative center work? Is the object of the former penitentiary a suitable place for this center? And if not, what could by an alternative? The aim of the work will be to infer a strategy from the collected information for the establishment of this center in Brno and its architectural proposal.

It analyzes methods which may lead to enhancement of creativity in order to increase value of business for customer as well as to develop the business itself. This work also includes real application of selected methods on management of cafe Dobra zastavka in Brno, Czech Republic.

Instructions to Create Art

The work summarizes the ideas concerning human creativity, the desire to create and the expression of art. I researched creativity in my family. Personally, I met all the members of my immediate family and we worked together. Then I organized an event at my cottage where we all got together and everyone had the task of creating something on their own and then together in the whole group. So I decided to conceive the work itself as a text screenplay and a description of events which happened and what the family members had to talk about before and during our family meeting. The issue is above all, it is their unclear understanding of my intention to carry out the event itself and then a clash of views on art and the common creation that took place in the garden. For the presentation itself, the participant is seated with me at one table and I read the screenplay of the event. The work is a confrontation of my family's amateur view of art with a view of mine as an art student.

Kreatívna ekonomika a meranie kreativity

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the creative economy and the measurement of creativity. In the theoretical part, the concepts related to the creative economy are first defined, then the ways of measuring the creative economy are presented, primarily through the creativity index 3T. The creativity index consists of 3 areas -talent, technology and tolerance. In the practical part, the creativity index is calculated and modified for the Slovak Republic for the years 2011 and 2021. The results of the creativity index are also compared with other measurements of creativity, and then the creativity of Slovakia and its contributions are evaluated.
