Elements of communication for increasing customers' loyalty

The diploma thesis deals with elements of communication in order to increase customer loyalty. The aim of the thesis is to suggest changes in communication with customers and the use of elements of communication to increase customer loyalty to a selected store. The selected store is Jednota Kaplice cooperative. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the terms such as loyal customer, marketing communication as sales promotion, communication The second part of the diploma thesis is practical and includes a questionnaire survey. Data was collected through a questionnaire with 251 respondents. The respondents were disaggregated by age, gender, education, number of people in the household, and social-economic situation. The results of the survey showed, for example, that most of the customers buy groceries in stores three times a week. Most of the customers also participate in loyalty programs and use loyalty cards with benefits. If customers don't use a loyalty card, it is because the benefits are not interesting for them. The last part of the diploma thesis proposes recommendations for improvement. One of the proposals is to develop a mobile application for customers of Jednota Kaplice cooperative.
Online grocery shopping

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to consider and assess consumers' attitude to the offer of grocery products on the internet along with analysing of the character of the inquiry in this specific segment. The theoretical part is about consumers' behavior before, during and after purchase and about shopping online. This part is also focused on conditions of purchase of groceries via internet as well as the marketing and its tools. The practical part includes creating of the questionaire followed by its evaluation. The research itself is practised on 196 respondents. Received information from the survey is processed. The results of the research are used in the final classification which shows the customers' approach towards the offer groceries on the internet and the character of the inquiry in this field.
Czech consumers attitudes towards online grocery shopping

The aim of this thesis is to identify attitudes of Czech consumers towards online grocery shopping and to identify the main barriers and motives that are causing consumers to adopt such attitudes. Secondary research which maps the main barriers and motives related to online grocery shopping is carried out as a part of this thesis. The thesis then presents primary qualitative research in the form of individual in-depth interviews and dyads with partners which explores other possible motives and barriers relevant for Czech consumers in relation to online grocery shopping. Significance of selected barriers and motives is further assessed in qualitative research carried out in the form of a standardized questionnaire. The thesis contributes to the identification of the influence and impact of barriers and motives that Czech consumers associate with online grocery shopping. Furthermore, the thesis outlines recommendations for online retailers that are aimed at encouraging Czech consumers to shop for groceries on the Internet. The findings of the thesis thus provide concrete guidelines for online retailers.
Analysis and design of an application for retail business

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an analysis and design of an application intended for retail business, targeted specifically on businesses lead by Vietnamese entrepreneurs. This paper is meant for people who are interested in the matters of retail business in general, as well as information system design and analysis. It can also serve as a source of the newest publications, compiled with accent on modern trends and usefulness. This thesis consists of several sections. The theoretical part outlines the expected benefits of this work, reviews and charts literary sources related to this topic and gives an insight into the current legislation of the field, and explains the basic terms and introduces a reader to the context of the retail business. The practical part delves deep into the analysis of the current state of the chosen retail company, clarifies the requirements of the application and depicts use cases. Additionally, the thesis provides a comprehensible analysis of the market. The fundamental aspect of the entire work is a design of selected processes, database model and a design of graphic user interface.
Innovations and czech retail business

The aim of this thesis is to describe current trends in global retail, the current state of retail in Czech Republic and possible need of bringing innovation to the outburst of Millennials generation economic activity. Introduction is devoted to theoretical description of retail and its meaning. As part of the thesis, there is a significant part containing relations within the worldwide retail and also its current trends and development. Furthermore, part of the thesis is devoted to the development and ongoing evolution of retail in the Czech Republic. Theoretical definition in the third chapter deals with buying behavior as well as the factors which have an impact on it. Millennials are the bearers of the innovation need in the world retail sector. The thesis put emphasis on this generation essential features characteristic, as well as their purchasing behavior. Quantitative research includes evaluation of their behavior and attitudes on the czech market in relation to information about groceries and consumer goods, then to their use of technology (smartphones) in the buying process of groceries and consumer goods, and also evaluation and description of their specific attitudes to purchase behavior and different characteristic aspects resulting from global characteristics of Millennials.
Comparison of attitude to loyalty programmes between Czech and English customers

This work deals with customer loyalty and loyalty programmes in areas of buying chemist goods, clothing, footwear and groceries. The main objective of this work is to compare the approach of English and Czech customers to loyalty programmes in these areas. The intention of the analysis is to discover whether the approach to loyalty programmes in these two countries varies and what are the major differences. Does using a loyalty programme really affect customer loyalty? Who are more loyal, Czech or English customers? The aim is also to find out how customers use their loyalty programs, what kind of rewards are the most attractive for them and what personal information are they willing to provide when they sign up for loyalty programmes. The analysis also aims to pose these same questions to multi-brand partnership programmes and also mobile applications. This work can therefore benefit companies operating in both Czech and English markets to adapt their loyalty programs to be most effective.
Selected aspects of the retail supplier-purchaser relations

The Diploma thesis ,Selected aspects of the retail supplier-purchaser relations' defines British grocery retailing. It presents government bodies which regulate retail industry and important independent not-for-profit organizations which have a strong influence on the market situation. It introduces the reader into legislation which regulates supplier-purchaser relations, particularly the Supermarket Code of Practice and its revised version the Groceries Supply Code of Practice. The analytical part examines the British market at the macroeconomical level, outlines the grocery retailing structure, describes the supply chain, customer behaviour, points out certain pricing and product policy trends and presents subjects which are bonded by the provisions set out in the Groceries Supply Code of Practice. The findings on local market competition and barriers which prevent the entry by a competitor are of a high significance as well. Despite the introduction of legal regulation the supplier-purchaser relations remain unequal and unfair. The thesis proposes a forecast of possible future grocery market development in the United Kingdom.

ABSTRACT: The thesis is focused on "Groceries with Protected Designation of Origin and Protected Geographical Indication, from central areas of France." Thesis is divided into three parts. After a brief adumbration of the topic, the description of existing protected labels and basic legislative of EU concerning this problematic will follow. The second part will be geographical, where we look closer on the position of central France and discus the list and characteristics of districts of this area. Third the most extensive part will include list and characteristics of specific grocery products protected by copyrights. The thesis contains an extended resume in French language.
Retail Accounting Dealing With Sale Groceries and Producing Delicatessen

Bachelor thesis is focused on retail accounting specificity concerning sale groceries and producing delicatessen. The aim of this work is the identification of specificity which defines mainly expiration date, which shows stocks accounting, problem of stocks record and tax problems. Theoretical part deals with the accounting history and present time, its gist and functions, with stocks recording which is very demanding and useful. There are various ways of stocks accounting, acquisition and evaluation. Practical part is aimed at particular retail accounting, its description, processing system of accounting long term property and stocks. Stocks include great part of this thesis, because its record is demanding and needed. In retail with grocery specialties, big range and high turnover of goods are essentials exact and simple stocks recording. By delicatessen production the producer guarantees specifics of groceries mostly 24 hours. It means that all of production must be dispatched in the same day. If not it can get to big losses which decrease profit. The internal part of business is stocks recording. By stock recording a method which does not depend on turnover and assortment of store items should be used. The great part of stock recording forms goods overevaluation, in case, expiration date finish off.
