New Trends in Container Transport

The bachelor thesis is focused on the container transport between the port in Hamburg and container terminals in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to confirm or disprove a hypothesis that the port can play an important part in diversification of Czech exports which was set as an objective in the Export Strategy of the Czech Republic. The first chapter deals with international trade of the Czech Republic with overseas countries. It also describes intermodal type of transport and introduces the port of Hamburg. The second chapter of the thesis is devoted to transport modes which can be used to transport containers from the Czech Republic to the port. There are analysed rail, road and inland waterway transport.
New Tasks of Czech Economic Diplomacy

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to answer the question whether the activities of economic diplomacy of the Czech Republic tally with the strategic goals of the Czech Republic in foreign economic relations. The bachelor thesis consists of 3 parts. The first part deals theoretically with the economic diplomacy. In the second part, the economic diplomacy of the Czech Republic is analysed. In the third part, the export strategy of the Czech Republic for the period from 2012 to 2020 is described. It is evaluated the fulfilling of the strategy there too.
Business environment in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the quality of business environment of the Czech Republic, nevertheless, the main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the current system of the export support. Firstly, the opening chapter attempts to define the term business environment theoretically, after that it puts forward the possibilities of quantifying the quality of this indicator and then summarizes its evolution specifically in the Czech Republic. The second chapter is particularly devoted to the system of economic diplomacy in the Czech Republic and concentrates primarily on the support of export as a part of national business support programs. In this context, the thesis analyses in full detail the Export Strategy of the Czech Republic for the period 2012-2020, its updated version of 2016 and also how defined goals are met on an ongoing basis. The final part provides the export survey carried out within small and medium-sized enterprises. This survey evaluates whether the system of the state export support is generally known and used within this segment.

Export support in the Czech Republic and its evaluation

This diploma thesis describes the support of exports in the Czech Republic and the current state of the export policy. First section of the thesis includes a literature review that outlines the basic facts concerning the issue of foreign trade, it's statistics, degree of openness of the economy and commodity and territorial structure. In the chapter called 'export policy' it also lists state and private institutions and entities providing export support. The practical section discusses Export Strategy 2012 - 2020, its main objectives and visions and the basic pillars, which outline the individual project cards to the objectives of the strategy. Also detailed is the fulfilment of the Export Strategy for 2015 and the current problems in the Czech export market. Assessment of the problematic is to be found in the conclusion.

Prospects of the mutual business cooperation of the Czech Republic and Japan

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to point out to opportunities to strengthen business cooperation between Japan and the Czech Republic. The basis for this analysis is the Export Strategy of the Czech Republic for years 2012 - 2020. This thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The first one is dedicated to the Export Strategy, which is aimed at diversification of the czech foreign commerce. The second chapter provides general information about the territory. It particularly deals with geography, demography, political system and economic situation of the country, which is analyzed using macroeconomic indicators. The third chapter describes the development of Japan's foreign trade. The last chapter is dedicated to the mutual commercial relationship of the Czech Republic and Japan. The development of their mutual trade, the possibility of using state assistance and evaluation of the opportunities for czech exporters is outlined in the fourth chapter.

The country has a great potential for future economic growth and further development of foreign trade relations. The Czech republic actively cooperates with Kazakhstan in many areas, especially in the trade area. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to demonstrate the idea, that the Czech republic will succeed or will fail to fill up the vision and objectives of the Export strategy towards Kazakhstan and to find out if the strategy is effective and is a good tool of state support of exports.
Export Strategy of Brewery Nymburk

This thesis deals with export strategy of Brewery Nymburk spol. s.r.o. The main purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the export strategy and to include recommendations to improve the current strategy. The first chapter is focused on Czech beer market, its history, beer consumption in the Czech Republic and trends of the market. It also contains theory of accessing foreign markets and its problems. In the practical part it focuses on Brewery Nymburk, its history, production and product line. The thesis also includes SWOT and PEST analysis of the firm. The export strategy analysis gives details about Danish beer market, foreign market access and export development to Denmark. The final chapter includes recommendations for the brewery's activities in the future.
