Specifics of international road freight transport in specific area
Térová, Lucie ; Novák, Radek (advisor) ; Medveď, Jan (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the German Act on the Regulation of a Minimum Wage, which affects Czech hauliers operating in Germany. First of all, macroeconomic and microeconomic issues in the field of road transport and of course the specifics of German Act (MILOG) are described. Secondly, the main effects of the law on business are analysed in case of the Czech haulier ¨Dítě Spedition s.r.o.¨ In the following, an increase in operating costs of the company according to the MILOG is calculated. Moreover, there is a prediction of potential scenarios in case of confirmation of legality of MILOG applying to the international road freight transport. It's followed by the concept of transport according to the nature of transport pathways with a focus on efficiency for the different types of transport. The area of transport it is complicated to obtain the franchised business, in particular financial and professional competence. In the framework of the theoretical part of the thesis, emphasis is placed on the concept of the cost that is used for processing your own part of the work. Own part of the work focuses on definition of costs, which translate into a price per kilometer travelled. This is in particular on fuel costs representing the most significant item of the direct costs. Follow payroll costs, including contributions and travel allowances. Also it's followed by direct depreciation and other direct costs, which include road tax, insurance, repairs and maintenance, other direct costs and toll. Subsequently, it is attributed to the amount of manufacturing overhead representing the most significant cost item and calculated profit. The result is the cost per kilometer excluding VAT. Part of the thesis is to assess the cost situation of the firm along with the recommendation for a business in the field of road freight transport.

Case studies quantifying property damage through no fault of the carrier after a car accident
Svozil, Milan
The injured party is entitled to compensation for the overall financial damage which has been caused due to accidental traffic accident. Škoda presents any loss of property. This is not only true for the damage (the amount by which the value of assets decreased), but also lost profits. The injured party must realize all the damage and property losses to him in a traffic accident occurred and must be quantified and demonstrated. These damages are liquidated liability insurance of motor vehicles participant who caused the accident. In most cases, the injured party seeks, and consequently they are satisfied only with compensation for damage to the vehicle, where appropriate, the costs of recovering and towing the vehicle to the nearest workshop. Further compensation, arising from accidental traffic accident has damaged usually required, although these damages are often many times higher. For a complete liquidation of such damages no unified methodology and for this reason there is a problem situations in their quantification. Problem situations that may occur in the quantification of property damage carriers are addressed in the paper by illustrative case studies and presents a complete procedure for quantifying the overall carrier of property damage that may occur as a result of total damage to the trailer and damage to cargo carried.
Air Traffic Flows Analysis
Šimíček, Martin ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Kujal, Tomáš (advisor)
ŠIMÍČEK, M. Air Traffic Flows Analysis. Brno: Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 2013. 84 s. Supervisor Ing. Tomáš Kujal, Ph.D. The diploma thesis discusses the factors that affect routing and transport performance in the air transport. Besides the characteristics of these factors the main objective of this thesis is to quantitatively evaluate their level of dependence on the traffic performance of air transport. This is done by using the linear regression analysis. Based on this analysis, mathematical models of dependence of these factors on traffic performance are developed. The thesis also verifies the accuracy of these models and tries to find out which of them are usable and which are not. Their accuracy is mainly dependent on the selected track and on the type of airline.
