Development Board with a Microcontroller and Display "TouchScreen"
Sekanina, Pavel ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Polóni, Pavol (advisor)
This work deals with design, produce and complement development board with microcontroller and touch screen. The work also describe problems of complement development board in EAGLE software. Below analyse technology which apply touch screen. Finally show creation software for service touch screen with given microcontroller.
Development Board for 32-bit Microcontroller Atmel AT91SAM9261
Demín, Martin ; Slaný, Karel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Vestavený hardware je velice populární v této době. Proto jsme se rozhodli vytvořit desku s mikrokontrolérem AT91SAM9261 spolu so standartným a nestandartným hardwarem.
Examples in environment ARMmbed
Maraczek, Patrik ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis contains basic information for working with microcontroller properly in ARMmbed integrated development environment. Thesis describe microcontroller, microchips, chip’s periphery, ARMmbed environment. Also manual is written for this environment. Four examples are solved at the end of thesis to explain how extended devices and sensors are working. Devices like 4-bit seven-segmented display, LED diodes, ultrasound sensor SRF02.
Educational development boards
Ostřížek, Tomáš ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This paper deals with the design process of an FPGA-based development board for educational purposes, as a replacement of the obsolete Spartan-3 Starter Kit Board. Theoretical part describes the basic principles behind FPGAs and compatible digital and analog interfaces. The next chapter focuses on choosing optimal components for the board, mainly an optimal FPGA, in regard to course compatibility, implementation requirements and price. A complete circuit diagram is then designed based on the components as well as a printed circuit board layout. To simplify the process of configuration, a minimalistic Windows application using iMPACT batch commands is programmed. The last chapter describes the process of testing the development board prototype.
Universal Development Board for Pic18F Microcontroller Family
Jež, David ; Fučík, Otto (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
My work describes design of the universal development board usefull with a various types of microcontrollers and the unified interfaces for the microcontroller's module board. It introduce the design and the interface and list of the Microchip PIC microcontrollers which can be used with development board. It also describes the features of the PIC18F4550 microcontroller and means about an different types of anothers manufactures. There is also describe of the design, creating the schemes of the boards, printed circuit boards and 3D visualization models in my work.
Modular Educational Platform for Embedded Systems and Digital Circuits Domain
Koupý, Pavel ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the work is the design and implementation of two circuit boards delivering learning platforms, which will consist of two separate circuit boards with ARM MCU and a programmable FPGA gate array that will be interconnectable and appropriately complemented by peripherals. These platforms will be developed by analysing current teaching and development platform solutions and then demonstrating on practical examples. The main benefit of this work should be update and simplification of existing equipment. At the same time, there is an emphasis on greater transparency of the whole solution, so that it is not too complicated for an aspiring student to familiarise himself with modern micro-controllers and programmable gate arrays and can link the simpler units into more complex ones, where the individual boards can be used as separate working units and their interconnection will provide a computationaly stronger yet more complex device.
Car Air-Condition Control Unit with MCU HCS08GT60
Polóni, Pavol ; Straka, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to desing and produce development board, which is customized with respect to the deployment as an air-condition control unit in car. The following chapters of this work will gradually take its reader through the whole design flow of such embedded system. Literally speaking, selection of a proper MCU and set of external peripherals can be seen as the critical tasks. Particular attention will be also given to PCB (printed circuit board) manufacturing and components assembly. The core of the system is built around HCS08 MCU from Freescale and appropriate firmware written in C language.
Design and Implementation of CAN Driver on Development Board Atmel ATNGW100
Szurman, Karel ; Straka, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describe desing and implementation of CAN driver. This bus together with RTC module are located on development board Atmel ATNGW100. Devices communicates over SPI interface. Software driver is implemented as module for kernel of operating system Linux. Thanks to this module, interfaces of implemented CAN bus and RTC are accessed to user.
Water quality analysis using colorimetry
Kovaldová, Eliška ; Zumberg, Inna (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of water quality using colorimetry. Part of the work is an introduction to the physical and chemical parameters of water, as well as optical methods, which include photometry, spectrophotometry and colorimetry, and an introduction to regression analysis. These methods and analysis are followed by a practical part by measuring pH, nitrate and water hardness using a spectrophotometer and an AS7262 visible light sensor with a SparkFun development board. At the end of the work there is a comparison of absorption spectra, calibration curves and linear regression parameters of both methods.
