Impacts of the Coronavirus Pandemic on the Econimic Situation of a Selected Business Entity

This bachelor thesis is based on „Impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the economic situation of selected business entity“ in the years 2016-2020. The theoretical part summarizes the findings regarding the coronavirus pandemic and analyzes the individual indicators of financial analysis, which are used in the analytical part. The analytical part contains the describes the company to which the formulas from the theoretical part were applied. The aim of this work is to evaluate impacts of the pandemic on the selected winery and compare them with a competing company and the indistry avarage. The last part contains suggestions form improving the situation of the company.
Effects of the crisis caused by Covid-19 on the operation of construction company

The diploma thesis evaluates the impact of the crisis caused by covid-19 on construction companies, especially through a questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of construction companies. The theoretical part of the work, which precedes the questionnaire survey and interviews, describes the construction company and also explains topics such as anti-epidemic restrictions, compensation programs or the state of emergency caused by the covid crisis.
Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Contruction Companies in the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis describes and evaluates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on construction companies in the Czech Republic using controlled interviews with representatives of companies and a questionnaire solution. The theoretical part generally describes problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which affect Czech construction industry. It is a description of the process of the pandemic in the Czech Republic, a description of selected anti-epidemic measures and government compensation bonuses. Part of the work is a description of the effects of the pandemic at the selected construction company and also prepared part of the documentation to management construction contract.
Changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and students as a result of the coronavirus pandemic

This bachelor's thesis deals with changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and pupils as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus affected the entire world, including the Czech Republic. In March 2020, Czech schools succumbed to the nationwide order to close schools and were forced to start distance education, which required a completely different method of communication than face-to-face. The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains basic concepts related to interpersonal communication, analyses communication in the pedagogical environment, i.e. between teachers and pupils. It also describes the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Czech education, the course of distance learning and types of digital technologies that were used at that time. The practical part is focused on a mixed research investigation that will reveal what changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and pupils have occurred as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The chosen methods of data collection are a questionnaire survey that will be carried out among pupils and a semi-structured interview with selected teachers.

Employment law in times of coronavirus pandemic Abstract This thesis on employment law in the coronavirus pandemic focuses on the impact of the pandemic on Czech legislation, presents the author's own view on the issue and offers a comparative view of the legislation of the Slovak Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This thesis takes into account the legal situation from 1 March 2020 to 31 December 2022 and is divided into six chapters. After a general introduction defining basic concepts and briefly summarising the employment legislation of the selected countries, the individual chapters follow and address important employment law topics in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The second chapter focuses on impediments to work, assessing the various impediments to work related to the coronavirus pandemic on the part of both the employee and the employer, followed by contribution during periods of partial unemployment. The third chapter focuses on the ordering of annual leave as one of the options to deal with a crisis and examines the impact of the pandemic on the regulation of annual leave. Use of media in English lessons in Czechia

The aim of this diploma thesis, entitled "Use of Media in English Lessons in the Czech Republic" is to evaluate the use of old, classic and new media in teaching English in Czech primary and secondary schools, as well as in private lessons conducted by English language tutors. In the first part, the work introduces old and new media in the Czech education system and individual types of new media, presents historical media used for teaching English in our countries, provides an overview of the media used at the present time and, above all, introduces websites and applications developed for teaching English. The results of recent studies dedicated to the investigated issue are also presented. The research objective of the practical part is the analysis of the answers of 50 educators obtained using a questionnaire survey, answers to questions regarding the use of old and new media in the teaching of the English language, namely in the time before the coronavirus pandemic, in the time of distance learning during the pandemic and now, as well as qualitative research of the most used new media tools in English lessons. Dopady pandemie COVID-19 na prostorovou organizaci letecké dopravy

The main topic in the bachelor's thesis is about the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the aviation and airline industry in the first 2 quarters of 2020. The first part is dedicated to the research of literature, describing the airline industry as a whole, its many paths and factors that have an influence on it. In the thesis is mentioned even the negative parts that affected the aviation industry, that had similar impacts like the COVID-19 pandemic itself. The analytic part of the thesis is focused on analyzing aviation data from certain states of the world, mainly from the first 2 quarters of 2019 and comparing them with the other first 2 quarters of 2020, primarily about the amount of passengers and the number of final destinations. The data for the analysis was taken from the International Civil Aviaton Organization (ICAO) that goes by name On-Flight Origin And Destination, that offers information about airline paths all over the globe. The results of the analytic part informs us about the short-term or even maybe long-term global negative consequences for the aviation industry and perhaps drastic changes for the so far calm airline travel.
Leisure time of older school-age children not only during the coronavirus pandemic.

This thesis deals with the leisure time of older school-age children. The first part describes basic concepts associated with the topic, i.e. leisure, leisure competence. Special focus on the serious leisure perspective by Robert Stebbins. This work presents results of my own qualitative research carried out in the current coronavirus pandemic situation. It describes how children perceive and experience leisure, whether they tend towards leisure competence and also whether changes in society due to the coronavirus pandemic have affected children's leisure time.
Intercultural analysis of marketing communication of CzechTourism agency aiming to recover tourism after coronavirus pandemic

This thesis examines the diversity of the CzechTourism agency's marketing communication on foreign markets, depending on the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic and cultural specifics. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with marketing in tourism and tourism market in general, then the work and structure of the CzechTourism agency is further described. That is followed by examples of how tourism was affected by the coronavirus pandemic and specific impacts on the Czech market. Communication within the marketing of destinations is generally very specific, the thesis not only describes these general specifics, but also deals with differences that appeared in connection with the coronavirus pandemic - and all of that is subsequently reflected in the research of the thesis. The last important component of the theoretical part of the thesis are intercultural specifics, which are generally demonstrated by the research of the Dutch sociologist Geert Hofstede. The general description is followed by the analysis of selected cultures - Italy, Japan, Germany and the United States of America - the conclusions of which are subsequently applied in the research.
