The load bearing structure of multi-storey reinforced concrete builidng

The diploma thesis is focused on design on loadbearing reinforced concrete structure of multi-storey apartment building with shops and offices on the ground floor and underground garage. The thesis consists of the analysis and design of ceiling slabs above underground floor, supporting columns and the beam under the underground floor ceiling slab. Calculation 3D model was created to determine internal forces. All structures are designed according to EC2, ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The thesis includes elaboration of static calculation, shape drawings, drawings of reinforcement of solved structures. The rest of the project part are not analysed.
New Synagogue in Brno

The subject of this diploma thesis is the architectural design of the New synagogue in Brno. The aim of this study is to create the closed a closed complex of buildings, which will be used by the Jewish religious communities and their members. Therefore, a building program is designed individually, according to the preferences and needs of the target group. The new building is located in Brno-Trnitá. At present, a new Jewish community center with a new synagogue in his heart is under development. The center is intended for all age groups. Besides the New synagogue, the area will contain a museum, kosher restaurants and administrative center. The administrative building of the Jewish community center is composed of a multi-purpose hall, a Jewis library, offices and a mikveh. Design of adjacent buildings and planned housing development is part of the presented urban design.
The possibilities of green algae removal from concrete structures

This master´s thesis deals with the suppression of algal growth on concrete structures. The subject of the work is to design and coatings their own structural concretes containing protective element in order to inhibit the growth of algae. As the coating are tested commercially avaiable and newly created systems. Testing systems are based on the portland cement and chelates of metal (Cu, Ni, Co, Mn, Zn, Al).
Multistorey administrative building

The theme of the work is design of the administrative building with supporting concrete structure. The design must include changes of concrete cubic capacity and their additional effects on the stress of the structure. Minimization of the impact of additional stress is necessary to solve with the appropriate design of structural systems and materials.

The subject of my master´s thesis is architectural and technological project of a residental building Fryčajova, Brno. My work contain engineering report of architectural and technological project, study of realization of the main stage, project of site equipment, design of building mechanization, time plans, technological note of floor structure, control and test plans, work safety plan, environment, budget of carcass, economic balance sheet and specialization on concrete structures.
CARBON Visitor Center

The work deals with the design of the visitor center in the area of the Frenštát mine, Trojanovice municipality. The proposal is based on highlighting the dominant features of the area under consideration. The goal of the project was to design a distinctive object - a "sculpture" that would provide visitors with spaces for education, lectures and refreshments. The largest part of the building is made up of exhibition spaces, which allow visitors to browse permanent and temporary exhibits related in particular to the issue of mining areas. The exhibition also includes an outdoor exhibition. The dominant feature of the proposed building is the observation tower, which gives visitors a view of the Beskydy Mountains and a closer look at the mining activity.
Numerical Analysis of BFRP Reinforced Concrete Slab Exposed to Impact Loads

This paper describes numerical analysis utilizing the FEM of a simply supported concrete slab exposed to close range explosion of TNT charge. Reinforcing bars are made of basalt fibre reinforced plastic (BFRP). 3D numerical model has been created, and a software with explicit solver has been used in order to conduct analyses. A simplified method of the blast loading modelling has been utilized. Several cases with different mesh size or finite element formulation are considered. The results are compared with experimental data.
