Analytical and preparative separations of biologically active peptides by capillary and free-flow electromigration methods
Kašička, Václav ; Prusík, Zdeněk ; Sázelová, Petra ; Koval, Dušan ; Barth, Tomislav ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Ježek, Jan ; Klasová, Lenka ; Slaninová, Jiřina ; Velek, Jiří ; Vepřek, Pavel
Combination of capillary and free-flow electromigration methods has been applied to qualitative and quantitative microanalysis and preparative purification of biologically active peptides.
Importance of capillary electrophoresis in Human Genome Project
Klepárník, Karel
The fundamental contribution of capillary electrophoresis to the HumanGenome Project can be demonstrated on the massive application of multicapillary fully automated instruments for DNA sequencing. Sequencing is the most successful application of capillary electrophoresis from commercial point of view. Also in the filed of the research of genome DNA polymorphism plays capillary electrophoresis an important role.
Capillary Electrophoresis in the Analysis of Chiral Species
Vespalec, Radim
An overview of methodology of chiral separations by using capillary electrophoresis in free solution is given.
Mobility in capillary electrophoresis
Vespalec, Radim
Basic terms in capillary electrophoresis are defined and discussed.
Liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis - partners or rivals?
Vespalec, Radim
Advantages, limitations and complementarity of both instrumental separation techniques were discussed.
pK determination of sparingly soluble weak bases
Vlčková, Markéta ; Barták, P. ; Vespalec, Radim
pK values of sanguinarine and chelerythrine have been determinedat conditions of planned interaction measurements and renasons for the pread of published pK data of these weak bases have been investigated.
Chiral separation of charged cluster boranes
Slavíček, V. ; Vespalec, Radim
Capillary zone electrophoresis is effective instrumental technique for chiral separations of charged cluster boranes if β-cyclodextrin serves as chiral selector.
Determination of saccharides in beverages by capillary electrophoresis and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry
Žídková, Jitka ; Přibyla, Lubomír ; Chmelík, Josef
A fast method for the detection of addition of cheap sweeteners in beverages based on combination of matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation time of flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry with capillary electrophoresis has been developed. Capillary electrophoresis has been employed to detect the ratio of concentration of major saccharides. Application of these techniques to orange juices is presented.
The way from present electrophoretic chiral separation of boron cluster anions to their chiral preparations
Vespalec, Radim ; Horáková, Hana ; Grüner, Bohumír ; Plešek, Jaromír
The way from present electrophoretic chiral separation of boron cluster anions to their chiral preparations was discussed in detail.
Schopnost nativních cyklodextrinů chirálně dělit klastrové anionty boru
Horáková, Hana ; Grüner, Bohumír ; Vespalec, Radim
Alfa-cyclodextrin is optimal for chiral separations of single-cage boron cluster anions only. Beta-cyclodextrin is optimal for chiral splitting of sandwich cobalt complexes, however, it may be used for the chiral splitting of single-cage boron cluster anions, too. Gama -cyclodextrin is not proper for chiral separations of boron cluster anions
