Music Communication, Projection and Analogy of Handicapped Children in Music Therapy
Lipský, Matěj ; Květoňová, Lea (advisor) ; Mastnak, Wolfgang (referee) ; Weber, Jana (referee)
/Abstract Music Communication, Projection and Analogy of Handicapped Children in Music Therapy Presented work takes an interest in music contents produced by handicapped children attending music therapy sessions. The contents of music were gained from the children by the method of improvisation, particularly by "concert technique". In the theoretical part we present philosophical background for the music therapy in a field of special education and research. This background thought we have found in a gnoseology of a critical realism and a radical constructivism. Afterwards the definition and description of used music therapy terminology follows. We present three music therapy models that put great emphasis on the contents of music produced by clients. These models are: the German Morphological music therapy, the Dutch Analogical Music Therapy and the Geneape music therapy model from the Czech Republic. We also discuss general possibilities of using music therapy while working with mentally handicapped clients, autistic clients and clients suffering from sight defects, because these kinds of handicaps are included in our research group. At the end of the theoretical part we explain the terms of music communication, projection and music analogy. They are always connected to the contents of music, as...
Music Therapy, Music Education and Adolescence
Weber, Jana
Music plays an important role in our lives. Especially during puberty, music is an important part of an adolescent's influence which supports the development of identity. In today's world, music is disappearing from interpersonal relationships. School is often the last place where young people can learn about themselves and the world around them through music. Looking at music education from this perspective, teaching music could be instrumental in developping soft skills. Unfortunately music education is often given only marginal consideration on the education plan in Czech secondary schools. As a consequence neither school management nor pupils understand its significance and music classes become a gathering of people with no interest. In many schools music education loses its meaning and its potential is wasted. Based on ideas of music therapy and artefiletic, the aim of this work is to find possible ways to encourage the interest of adolescents in this field again. One option is to motivate students to link school life with their life outside of school. They can learn through their own experiences in creative activities and discussions. This work is heuristically oriented, i.e. we do not seek answers, but rather consider the issues and come up with new ideas for future work. Our goal is to offer music...
Mapping history of music therapy in Bohemia using interview approach
Koukl, Jonáš ; Weber, Jana (referee) ; Lipský, Matěj (advisor)
This diploma work is focusing primary on capturing and approximation of historical development of the music therapy in the Czech Republic through the use of interview with several personalities taking active part in the music therapy opening or development. In the theoretical part, reader is introduced to definition of the music therapy. There are various definitions from worldwide institutions and figures. In the next chapter the work deals with various styles of the music therapy. The third chapter covers the important events and persons, which were closely connected with music therapy from prehistory till the present time. The practical part of this work forms transcriptions of mentioned interviews, concretely with these persons: Josef Krček. representative of anthroposophy music therapy, Jitka Vodňanská, Viktor Zappner and Jana Procházková as pioneers in clinical approach to music therapy, Zdeněk Šimanovský with his systemic conception, and Vlastimil Marek, perceiving by specialists as the most important person of esoteric music therapy. By the end of the work, based on these transcriptions, an actual summary comes with different kinds and views on the music therapy in the Czech Republic.

Tribune of football stadium
Weber, Jozef ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design the precast reinforced concrete prefabricated structures of the football tribune. It was modernized sports center in Brno. According to the investor was determined the shape of the football tribune. It was compiled the design documentation. For the calculation of inner strengths was used the software Dlubal RFEM, which operates on the Finite Element Method - FEM. All elements have been designed for ultimate and serviceability limit state. My thesis contains textual part, inner strengths, static calculations, drawing documentation of composition of structure, drawing documentation of reinforcement and design documentation of the object.
Industrial Building - Review of Selected Reinforced Concrete Parts
Weber, Jozef ; Zlámal, Martin (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with reinforced concrete floor structure. It is a 3D frame, which is composed of bar elements oriented in the longitudinal and transverse direction. The work is done calculating mean longitudinal beam and also the middle of the cross beam. Furthermore, the calculated floor structure, which operates in both directions. For the calculation of inner strength used computer program SCIA ENGINEER 2013.0, which operates on the Finite Element Method - FEM. All elements have been designed for ultimate and serviceability limit state. Work contains textual part, inner strength, static calculations, drawings and used documents.
Modification of protective lime coating systems for the porous limestone using lime nanomaterials: assessment of mechanical properties and ageing resistance
Navrátilová, Michaela ; Bayer, K. ; Ghaffari, E. ; Macounová, Dana ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Weber, J.
Within the area of care for sculptural and architectonic monuments of limestone in Austria there has been a historic continuity of use of protective lime coatings. In the regions of Upper and Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland mainly Leitha limestone (named after the Leitha Mountains) are dealt with. In Czech lands such approach was disrupted from 19th century by application of the “purist” idea of bare surface of stone. Nevertheless, this treatment of stone surface has been coming back into use for many various reasons in the past few decades. Requirements for preservation of pieces of art and handcraft made of limestone using lime coatings are most often applied in the regions of Vyso!ina, South Moravia and South Bohemia, which directly border on the Northern States of Austria. Owing to the resource locations of Leitha limestone in these regions, there is a higher representation of cultural heritage monuments made of this type of stone in the Czech Republic.
Consolidation testing of porous limestone using lime nanomaterials: optimization, assessment of stone mechanical and structural characteristics
Macounová, Dana ; Bayer, K. ; Ghaffari, E. ; Navrátilová, Michaela ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Weber, J.
In consequence of an array of degradation mechanisms there is a change of stone characteristics used in historic objects. One of the negative changes is deterioration of mechanical properties, which may often lead to losses of original substance and gradual disintegration of works of art or handcraft made of stone. To prolong the lifespan of such damaged cultural-heritage objects a process called consolidation is often carried out within the framework of conservation treatment. During the process of conservation treatment the damaged stone is impregnated with a consolidating material, which is to provide the stone with a new binder capable of renewing its cohesion to a certain extent. Currently, a wide range of organic and inorganic consolidating agents of various characteristics is available, from synthetic polymers to silicic acid esters. Long-term experience shows that not only is the consolidating effect of the actual agent important, but also its lifespan and impact on the subsequent aging of the treated stone. Thus, in the past few years more emphasis has been laid on the compatibility or – to express it more precisely – the material similarity of the agents used in the process of conservation and restoration of works of art or handcraft.
