Use of Photovoltaic Power Plant with Batteries for Warehouse and Office Spaces
Kořenek, Jan ; Vojtek, Martin (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the photovoltaic power plant in Zlín. Power plant is used for electricity supply of office building and stock. For better self-sufficiency there is designed battery system as storage for electrical energy which the object can not consume itself. In the theoretical part there are described development of photovoltaics and components used in power plants. Further there was described the building, construction of photovoltaic power plant and eventually also a subsidy program by which the project was financially supported. Main task in the practical part was to develop scripts in Matlab for evaluation of online measured data. Next point was an energetic evaluation of power plant operation. In the end there was calculated power plant return with subsidy support and without support. These calculations were done in PV SOL software. Eventually, there was evaluated how the system works and how the power generated by the photovoltaic power plant is used. In conclusion, there is summary of the measurements and calculations.
Use of Renewable Energy Sources for Water Recovery
Patera, Jan ; Vojtek, Martin (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with a summary of the basic theory for obtaining water from air humidity and it‘s following treatment in order to meet the hygienic regulations of drinking water. It presents the basic principles usable for obtaining water from the air, also presents the basic principles, including a basic overview of existing equipment for obtaining water from the air. It defines ideal conditions for obtaining water using atmospheric water generators. In a specific locality is determined a proposal for the water yield with energy performance during the year. Furthermore, the work deals with the use of renewable resources in obtaining water and the possibility of its subsequent treatment.

Range of production electric energy from roof PVE
Chmelař, Šimon ; Vojtek, Martin (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to compare localities with suitable conditions for the construction of photovoltaic power plants in comparison with unsuitable location. The first part of the thesis contains a market review with a selection of current panels and tiles with their parameters. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes various technologies and their advantages and disadvantages. This part also includes a brief overview of the historical development of photovoltaics both around the world and in the Czech Republic and the theoretical limits of the technologies. In the second part of the thesis, two localities, one with the suitable conditions and one with the unsuitable, were selected to calculate their potential electricity production from PV plants, which were then compared.

Bussiness intelligence means in modern information systems
Vojtek, Martin ; Král, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Richta, Karel (referee)
Business intelligence (BI) is the ability to find and understand complex relations in business, to effectively adapt to changes of environment (competition, market, trends), to learn from data. Integration of BI applications with existing enterprise information systems leads to complex process. This process can comprise information, process, portal and service oriented integration. For this type of integration, it is also possible to use ESB technology. When integrating such complex systems, usage of standards gains great importance and significantly contributes to the architecture of result solution. Implementation of integration of BI applications with enterprise information systems represents the EPA application, which is built on Java EE integration platform with usage of JBosss, open source application server, Oracle database, data mining tools and ETL. Data warehouse implemented on the top of Oracle database is used for the integration of data sources. Part of the application presenting graphs and interactive cross tables is built on JBoss Seam, modern integration framework, which integrates technologies like JBoss Rules, JSF, EJB3 and jBPM.
Essays on Interest Rates and Credit Risk
Vojtek, Martin ; Kočenda, Evžen (advisor) ; Palda, Filip (referee) ; Čihák, Martin (referee)
This dissertation addresses inefficiencies and problems in the financial markets of post-transition countries, which denies the use of standard estimation techniques. It focuses on interest rate markets and empirically analyzes the situation in the countries that joined the EU in May 2004. These countries underwent significant changes over the last two decades and markets in these countries are often not stable and not developed. In my dissertation I am conducting research in the areas where the empirical results are very scarce. A deeper understanding of the specifics in the markets of post-transition countries can be very helpful for example in designing policy measures touching these markets.
