The diploma thesis focuses on design of the information system for the department of medical transport service, which is part of the hospital. This thesis describes the theoretical knowledge necessary for analysis and custom design, is also concerned with the analysis of the current state of processes and information system. Last but not least, based on the analysis and the requirements lays down suggestions for improvement of the information system and design of optimal information system, that effectively supports the processes and enables its users to work more efficiently.

Topic of the master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel construction of the industrial building used to glass sand treatment. The building has the top view dimensions 12,0 x 12,0 m and roof ridge height 15,6 m. Disposition if the individual elements was designed according to conditions of the technology and production process. The thesis focus on creating of computational model and assessment to ultimate and serviceability limit states of individual elements. Further thesis contains of design and optimisation of some joints.

Study of steel frames behaviour depending on stifness of joints

Bachelor’s thesis „Study of steel frames behaviour depending on stiffness of joints“ deals with real joint stiffness calculation by component method and compares its influence on steel construction behaviour computed by linear computational model in assessment of the first and the second limit state. Results are determined via computational modelling in FEM software, where are included individual joints – rigid, semi-rigid and joint. In the introductory part of the thesis is included analytical joints stiffness calculation according to standard ČSN EN 1993-1-8. In the second part the joints are designed to bear inner forces and moments, which created by load combination effects.

Efficient Application of SCRUM Methodology in a Development Team

The master thesis focuses on more efficient application of Scrum methodology in a development team within specific company. The thesis takes an advantage from the SW-CMM philosophy applied in agile environment in order to achieve better effectivity. Theorethical base is utilized for a comparison with current state in the company described in analytical part. Proposals for a solution of current situation are based on drawback detection. Proposals are subject for risk analysis followed by precaution. Costs of proposals implementation with included precautions are evaluated in economic evaluation part. This part also contains benefits of proposals.

The bachelor thesis describes increasing business performance of online store on URL www.vytvarny-shop.cz. Increasing business performance of online store is achieved by SEO and by implementation of additional modules for online store. The starting point for this thesis is theoretical background which describes the issue. The analytical part of the thesis draws on the theoretical part and verifies whether the online store is in conditions which are consistent with standards and methodologies listed. The practical part of the work proposes and implements changes, which have been based on the analytical part and evaluated as desired within a stated budget. Bachelor thesis results in the economic evaluation of the conducted changes and provides a comprehensive view of the success of work and the modifications in financial sense.

The Evaluation of the Financial Situation’s Company

This dissertation deals with the rating of the financial situation of the company Xella CZ, s.r.o. using methods of financial analysis. The theoretical part describes the methods of financial analysis and the financial indicators. The practial part includes the application of the financial indicators in the company and the comparing of the financial ratios with the averages of the economic sector. Subsequently are described acquisitions for the improvement of the present circumstances.

Extreme situations solving in welfare institutions

This bachelor thesis deals with extraordinary events solving in social care institutions. There are introduced basic terms, case studies, legislative overview and legislative defined duties for building and operation of social care institutions in the Czech Republic. Next part contains definitions of extreme situations and description of its solving and possible complications. It was undertaken an analysis of the statistics in the Czech Republic about incidents during the last ten years. It contains description of recent state solution in nursing homes in district Pelhřimov. In the last parts are proposed amendments to regulations and standards.

Binding opinions within the protection of environmental components

1 Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the issue of binding opinions issued on the basis of individual component laws, i.e. laws that pursue the protection of individual environmental components. The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a basic insight into the institution of binding opinions, in particular their use for the purpose of protecting individual environmental components, and a subsequent comparison with the legislation that will come into force on 1 January 2024. The first part of this thesis deals with the regulation of binding opinions in the Administrative Code, in particular their formalities, legal nature, as well as the process of issuance, including the possibility of appealing against the issued binding opinion or its subsequent review. In addition, the first part of the diploma thesis also deals with the authorities concerned, as the authorities competent to issue binding opinions. In the second part, the thesis focuses on the regulation of binding opinions in the individual component laws, with a focus on binding opinions in the Air Protection Act, the Water Act, the Agricultural Land Fund Protection Act, the Forest Act and the Nature and Landscape Protection Act. Business contracts concluded with consumers Abstract The thesis focuses on the issue of two instruments of control over the content of the contract, which protect consumers from abuse of autonomy of will by the entrepreneur - the protection against unfair contract terms in consumer contracts and the protection against surprising clauses in consumer terms and conditions. The first part of the thesis deals with the issue of unfair terms in consumer contracts, the regulation of which is a transposition of Directive 93/13 EEC. In this part, the form of transposition into the Civil Code is discussed, including their shortcomings, and a comparison of the Czech regulation with the Directive is made. Attention is also paid to the forthcoming amendment to the Civil Code, which aims to remedy the shortcomings of the regulation. Firstly, the purpose of protection, the main principles underlying the protection and the scope of the regulation are presented. The issue of exceptions to the assessment of fairness as a guarantee of the preservation of the principle of autonomy of the will, is then analysed. Following this, the criteria of the fairness test, the procedure by which courts assess the unfair nature of contractual terms, are presented.
