Development of electronic parking system
Šmíd, Josef ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the electronic parking system, which is intended to navigate the drivers to the nearest vacancies, using the Arduino platform. The introductory part deals with an overview of the current state of knowledge. The research section provides an overview of the Arduino base plates and other modules and sensors selected for conceptual design solutions. The construction part deals with the design of the casing according to the selected components and the subsequent realization of the whole device, including the program, for testing under real conditions. The test results are finally evaluated and summarized in the final discussion.

Modelling of Transport Systems
Šmíd, Jiří ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
The presented work describes both transportation and traffic flow simulation. For that purpose two different libraries were made. The first one is based on an existing library, Simlib/C++. For the traffic flow simulation a brand new library was created, using cellular automaton rules. Above all, it is designed to facilitate analysis of fundamental attributes of traffic network. Vehicles varying in size are able to find their own route plans from point where they were generated. Both libraries offer users a large amount of flexibility in specifying transport and traffic network.

Identification DNA of Plant and Animal Species in Food by Polymerase Chain Reaction
Šmíd, Jiří ; Hanák,, Petr (referee) ; Timko,, Jozef (referee) ; Kuchta, Tomáš (advisor)
We were developing detection methods for three food allergens of plant origin. We used real-time PCR for soy detection in food oriented on gene lec, that is coding lektine specific for soy. On this target sequence were oriented PCR system with primers Le2F and Le2R and TaqMan probe Le2P. Detection limit (2,75 pg), practical detection limit (0,02 %), inclusivity and exclusivity were determined. Whole system were quantified. Real-time PCR for pistachio detection were based on primers and probe for gene COR. Detection limit (3,5 pg), practical detection limit (0,002 %), inclusivity and exclusivity were determined. For almond detection we were not succeed system, that fulfil all qualitative parametres.

Holesov Station Reconstruction
Ludvíková, Lilija ; Šmíd, Jaroslav (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with upgrading of the Holešov railway station. The goal is to design a solution suitable for the capacity for a current traffic and valid legislation. Required are two boarding edges in the length of 130 meters enabling access to persons with reduced mobility and orientation, adjustments or renovation of a station throat triggered by insertion of platforms, maximizing line speed and design of railway superstructure and substructure design including drainage.

Upgrading of Litice nad Orlicí Railway Station
Šmíd, Jaroslav ; Andratschke, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of this study is to design an upgrading of station Litice nad Orlicí to meet current legislation on access of persons with reduced mobility. It is desired platform 150 m long, at least two running tracks, conservation of double-sided connection of siding and a loading track. The work also solve drainage. Two variants of layout were developed, of which one was selected for detailed processing.
