Parents´ divorce in young adult's eyes

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the phenomena of the parents´ divorce in young adult´s eyes. The paper is divided into two sections, theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts such as family, parents´ divorce, post-divorce arrangement and characteristics of young adults. This theoretical part shows the dynamics of divorce with its phenomena and then describes young adulthood with its typical signs. In the empirical section is described and analyzed reflection on parents´ divorce by young adult respondents. They provided their experiences with parents´ divorce, its dynamics, view of it and perceived consequenses to their current life. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews which have been analysed by using an open coding. The questioned group consists of six young adult respondents who had experience with parents´ divorce and were able to discuss it based on their memories and personal experience. The results were described as individual case reports telling the story of parents´ divorce. The stories were presented in categories and subcategories revealing main topics from interviews. From the collected data is possible to conclude that young adults frequently perceived the changes which parents´ divorce brings into their family life. Respondents consider parents´ divorce as psychologically demanding situation for a child who is suddenly in a new and fundamentally changing family background. The respondents also recognice a divorce as an experience they would want to avoid in their personal relationships.

Teenagers and young adults suffering from Crohn´s disease

The aim of thesis In the bachelor thesis we were dealing with Crohns disease in adolescents and young adults. Specifically, we have chosen three following objectives. We tried to find out how does the Crohns disease affect the quality of life of adolescents and young adults, how their needs are disrupted and what is the nurse's position in the process of satisfying their needs. To find out these thesis we defined these questions: "How does the Crohns disease affect the quality of life of the adolescents or young adults suffering from this disease? How have the adolescents' or young adults' needs changed because of this disease? What is the nurse's position in the process of satisfying the needs of adolescents and young adults suffering from Crohns disease?" Methods The research was carried out qualitatively by the method of interrogation by depth interview with 11 respondents. Respondents were represented by adolescents and young adults suffering from Crohns disease. The interviews were provided either personally either via social network media. The answers were immediately written down. Results The interview was analyzed by open coding, by the method called paper and pencil. After analyzing all the information we collected has come out three categories: The quality of life of the adolescents and young adults in connection with the Crohns disease, the needs of the adolescents and young adults with Crohns disease and the nurses' position in the process of taking care of a patient with Crohns disease. After that we divided these categories into the subcategories specifying each categorys problematics. Conclusion From the analysis of interviews has come out, that Crohns disease affects the adolescents" and young adults" quality of life in mainly negative, but sometimes also positive way. The disease has influenced somatic, psychical and also social aspects of the individuals life, although it has also come out, that it depends on an individual, how the individual cope with the disease. We found out two different views on dealing with disease. Few respondents with the disease live full filled life and some of the respondents still cannot deal with the disease. It also depended on complications, that are related to the disease and not everyone has them. From the most disrupted needs are the need to defecate and the need of special nutritious diet. These were in common for most of the respondents. Approximately the half of the respondents complained about their negative changes in mental and social needs which some of them became critical. From the aspect of patients nurses perform their ordinary job but the most important thing in nursing is an individual way of taking care of the patient.

In the range of employment of people with Down syndrome work is concerning on legal service, employment training with forms, even more form of employment and all so condition of employment {--} from the view of Czech and German legislation.
