Psychosocial aspects of Chronic Coloproctological Diseases from the Point of Coordinated Rehabilitation.
SÝKOROVÁ, Michaela
The topic of the submitted diploma thesis is Psychosocial aspects of chronic coloproctological diseases from the point of view of coordinated rehabilitation. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part describes the current state of psychosocial aspects of chronic coloproctological diseases in terms of coordinated rehabilitation in general contexts and related topics (basic concepts including health, illness, chronic diseases, human needs, quality of life and the possibility of measuring it). The main chapter describes chronic diseases and the possibilities of medical, nursing and psychosocial care, including coordinated rehabilitation. The practical part presents the methods and results of my research. The aim of the work was to find out the psychosocial aspects of chronic coloproctological disease and to find out and describe the quality of life of patients with this disease and the possibilities of influencing it by coordinated rehabilitation. To obtain the data, I used qualitative research using the method of questioning and semi-structured interview for data collection. Using a method of deliberate sampling, I created a group consisting of 9 patients, 6 health professionals and 3 social workers who are linked to chronic coloproctological disease. The results of the research were divided into three sections describing areas of psychosocial needs, limitations and strategies for the management of chronic coloproctological disease including coordinated rehabilitation. Chronic coloproctological disease has broad psychosocial impacts, which not only affect the patient and his or her experience, but also affect his or her family and other interpersonal relationships, hence affect significantly the QOL as a such. Coordinated rehabilitation is not used in the care of these patients, only particular components of this process are applied separately. However, the results of my research show that in coordinated rehabilitation, there is great potential for improving the care of patients with such severe diseases. The results of my work can be utilized as feedback for health professionals and social workers providing care to the patients with chronic coloproctological disease.
Didactic Potencial of Roald Dahl's Books and their Use at Primary School
Sýkorová, Michaela ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (advisor) ; Hausenblas, Ondřej (referee)
Resumé This diploma thesis deals with the didactic potential of Roald Dahl's books and examines their possible use at primary schools. The purpose of this thesis is a deeper analysis of the two of Roald Dahl's works (Danny, the Champion of the World and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). The thesis focuses on both-the didactical and the literary theory analysis. The teaching units, which are part of the thesis, are based on the parts from the two mentioned Dahl's books. The choice of the parts and methods is didactically commented. Based on the practical credentials, the results are reflected throughout the teaching units. The work also gives information about Roald Dahl's life and contextualizes his works into his life. Last but not least, the thesis focuses on a mini-research of the amount of Dahl's texts in reading-books for the pupils of the fourth grade at primary schools.

Sýkorová, Michaela ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee)
Title: Evaluation of the range of motion of the upper limbs using the OpenPose program Objectives: The aim of the work was to determine whether it is possible to use the OpenPose program as a tool for measuring upper limb range of motion, highlight OpenPose limits and consider whether the program could be used for evaluation in clinical practise or as part of telerehabiliation in the future. Methods: 48 probands participated in the research. Participants were intentionally selected from healthy population due to the nature of the work. Each participant was measured in 6 different positions while lying on a lounger. Measurements were taken bilaterally. A total of 14 different angles of shoulder and elbow were measured. These were maximum flexion of the elbow joint, flexion of the arm with flexion of the elbow, flexion of the arm, internal and external rotation of the arm and extension of the arm. Data were collected using a standardised examination method using a goniometer and a video recording. Video recordings were later used in the OpenPose program for angle evaluation. Finally, the results of both methods were compared. Results: 8 out of total 14 measured angles of shoulder and elbow were excluded based on evaluation criteria. Values with average difference between both examiner's results...

Sýkorová, Michaela ; Zvelebilová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Emrová, Hana (referee)
This thesis deals with importance of rehabilitation at adult patients diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) and the effect of long-term physical therapy using neurostimulation system WalkAide. Theoretical part of this thesis focuses on description of cerebral palsy with adult patients. It also discusses possible treatment and interventions. The WalkAide device is described at the end together with its effects. The practical part measures 6 adult patients diagnosed with CP using 10meter walk test, single leg stand test and girth of calves' measures. Patients were also given a questionnaire asking about subjective effects of WalkAide and their therapy at Rehafit, o.p.s where the research tooks place. Data are processed into graphical form and results of each patient are described in case reports. Results show increase in walking speed, stability and calves' girth during long-term therapy using the WalkAide. Patients reported that effects of physical therapy are more persistent than effects of WalkAide itself and they reported the best subjective effect of therapy on their walking abilities. Key words: WalkAide, Cerebral Palsy, Adults with Cerebral Palsy
COMPREHENSIVE CARE IN CZECH AND BRITISH HEALTH CARE
SÝKOROVÁ, Michaela
The topic of this bachelor thesis is Comprehensive Care in the Czech and British Health Systems. We put the finger on the social policy of the Czech Republic and Great Britain, in two historically and culturally different countries. The aim was to map out and clarify basic concepts, principles, possibilities of solution and obstacles to comprehension care. This area of social policy is closely related to each of us, and therefore it is the most discussed topic. For this reason, it is important to know the basic facts and comparation within other countries which can help us in shaping our own strategy. The theoretical part deals with the historical development of the social policy of the two countries, with their importance, organizations, their determinants and models (especially in health and social areas). It also touches the current situation in the area of rehabilitation (basic concepts, transformation of meaning, legal anchoring, change of paradigm) from the point of view of the Czech Republic and Great Britain. To achieve the goals of my work, I chose a qualitative research strategy. After analyzing one case, specifically post-stroke patients, I created several questions for respondents. These sets of questions concerned post-health care, which could improve, simplify, or improve the situation of a patient in a given situation. My respondents were health and social workers from the Czech Republic and Great Britain. I acquired it through a method of deliberate choice. We used a semi-structured interview for data collection. The results of the observations were divided into six parts characterizing not only the overall view of healthcare professionals and social workers on the coordination of care and unified information, but also possible barriers and obstacles. The results are compared to each other. These comparison makes possible to assess the strengths and weaknesses of comprehensive care in the both countries. The most noticeable difference is evident in the coordination of health and social care; according to the results, it can be said that it does not work in the Czech Republic, Great Britain uses this institute quite commonly without any significant difficulties. In practice, it would be possible to use the knowledge gained by the research as a basis for the decision making of managers in the health and social sphere.
