Philosophical approach to life and death of people who were between life and death
Příplatová, Silvie ; Svobodová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hogenová, Anna (referee) ; Prokešová, Miriam (referee)
This dissertation thesis goes into the depths of philosophical reflection on the nature of human existence and its relationship to life and death, especially for individuals who have gone through extreme life situations. The thesis explores attitudes towards free will, life and death in people who have found themselves on the brink of life, whether due to addiction, illness or other life-threatening situations. The aim is not only to analyse changes in these individuals' attitudes towards life and death, but also to explore the intellectual and philosophical development that may be prompted by this existential limit. Regardless of the cause of this confrontation with the limit of life and death, we seek to uncover how this experience affects the deeper dimensions of human existence. The work is based on the conviction that illness, although challenging on the physical plane, has an extraordinary effect on the spiritual sphere. It also highlights the impact of illness on the physical and spiritual aspects of the human being and seeks to show this by examining the works of great philosophers whose ideas have shaped the world. We will support this claim by analysing the works of important philosophers whose ideas have shaped our understanding of human existence. From Aristotle to Descartes, Nietzsche...
POSSIBILITIES OF AUTHENTICITY AND THE PHENOMENON OF DEATH AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF WORRY
Kuklová, Pavlína ; Pelcová, Naděžda (advisor) ; Rybák, David (referee) ; Prokešová, Miriam (referee)
The existence is substantially coexistence. Sharing does not detract the loneliness of fall and destiny (guilt and consistence) from his existence these days, the regression into dust (end of experience) fights for human dignity in the Shared Phenomena of Old Age and Dying, which step out from their inconspicuousness and are mirror to the (un)hiddenness of possibilities of authenticity and the phenomenon of Dead in the background of Worry. Existencially-existencial connection of human existence expose that the appetence (the reality) of the First Man, based on the anxiety )possibility of Dead) of the historically last Man of the present, becomes a historical trace of authenticity in the sense of unique horizontal possibilities. Keywords: authenticity, Heidegger, Hogen, ontology, existence, death.
The Influence of Theological and Philosophical Thinking Not Only in the Exact Sciences

TITLE: The Influence of Theological and Philosophical Thinking Not Only in the Exact Sciences AUTHOR: Jana Follprechtová DEPARTMENT: Social Sciences and Philosophy Department SUPERVISOR: Prof. PhDr. Anna Hogenová, CSc. ABSTRACT: This thesis attempts to discover and characterise the interfaces at which the sciences meet and provide incentives for interdisciplinary dialogue. It is not the aim of this thesis to show the need for their fusion into one universal science. The aim is to show that it is important to re-establish communication between scientists with humanities and exact science education, as their results affect our society. Although an analytical method is used in the first chapters, the emphasis in the majority of this thesis is placed on comparison with possible subsequent synthesis. On this basis, the thesis not only examines the philosophy of R. Descartes and the consequences of his thinking today, which stands in opposition to the views of J. A. Comenius, but also the issue of education, which is one of the ways of re-establishing dialogue. All sciences have an ontological basis; thereby they must not only take the concept of creation seriously, but also the anthropic principle. The sciences are united by the limitations of their λογων, which are symbols meant to encourage efforts to review...
Vladimír Bibler and The School of The Dialogue of Cultures
Balcarová, Zdeňka ; Pelcová, Naděžda (advisor) ; Semrádová, Ilona (referee) ; Prokešová, Miriam (referee)
The thesis analyses heuristically the ideas of the Russian philosopher Vladimir Solomonovich Bibler (1918-2000), who belongs to the continuers of Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin's philosophical school. Bibler's work is unknown in our country. In his thoughts, Bibler came to the statement we are now at the new beginning of philosophy and thinking, at the time of different present and past cultures meeting. These cultures are in mutual dialogue transforming their meanings. On the basis of Bibler's thoughts, the School of Dialogue of Cultures was created in Russia. Its aim is to prepare a man of culture who himself is able to be active in the dialogue of cultures. Individual classes of this school copy the historical sequence of cultures (the classical age, the medieval age, the modern age, and the present age). The School has been proven experimentally with success.
Janusz Korczak's Philosophy of Education
