Title: Assessing the activity of ice hockey players depending on the size of the ice rink and the number of players in youth categories of ice hockey Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the number of shots, goalkeeper saves, pass attempts, pass completions, time spent puckhandling, situations 1-1, fouls and goals in minihockey depending on the size of the playing area and the number of players. In order to fulfill the objective of the thesis the scientific question will be answered: What is the best organization of the game and the size of the ice rink based on proportionately the highest total viewed gaming activities? Methods: We analyze the viewed activities based on 40 video recordings of games of players born in 2007. These will be compared taking into consideration the individual game organization and structures of the ice rink; thereafter the statistical significance of individual differences will be determined. Subsequently, the raw scores will be converted into standardized scores, T- points. Based on the values of T-points the most appropriate size of the ice rink and number of players for an effective development of the gaming activities will be determined. Title: One-sided strain as a risk factor of muscles imbalances in an ice-hockey training of children. Objectives: The objectives of this diploma thesis is a contribution to the solution of one-sided strain problems of older primary-school-aged juniors and its influence on ontogenesis of somatic parameters of children that train ice hockey. Methods: The thesis considered theoretical ways that described a long term influence of ice hockey training on ontogenesis of players, related risks of muscles imbalances origin and possibilities how to compensate these muscles imbalances. A sample of 200 probands specialised in ice hockey training was selected for testing and a control sample of 200 probands without any sport specialisation composed of 50 probands of a birth year 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 respectively - primary-school-aged juniors. Six different exercises were selected for testing according to the inquiry methodology of Dostálová (2006) and Horkel (2001). Four out of those exercises tested muscles shortening and two exercises tested muscles debilitation. Results: The measured data were statistically assessed by two-sample t-test with equal variance. A long term influence of ice hockey training was confirmed. A significant muscle shortening of musculus iliopsoas of right lower extremity was...

Title: The comparison of the quantity of gaming activities of players in ice hockey dufield the game in a small space and the entire field at young school age. Objectives: The aim was to find out on the basis of frequency of individual gaming activities by examining what is the moct effecient variant of the sice of the playing area due to the different number of players on the field dufield the ice hockey matches at young school age. Methods: The method of indirect observation was used, namely the video analysis. I watched 14 game, which 10 games were played on 1/3 field and 4 games were played on the entire field. All data were acquired dufield the 2014/2015 season in the age group of primary school age, specifically in the 4th grade players. The sample consisted od 42 subjects. The obtained values were put into created tables and then statistically evaluated and compared to find the most effective option. Results: Based on the video analysis and statistical evaluation od the data, it was found that minihockey played on 1/3 of the fiedl was more effective in two out of three cases. In terms of frequency of shooting and keeping the puck was the allover 5 against 5 hockey much more effective, on the other hand the least effective was minihockey 5 to 5 on 1/3 of the field. The passing rate had...

Methods: I used method of analysis and method of comparison. I applied method of analysis in sorting of data and method of comparison in subsequent comparing of annual training cycle. Results: I found out, that the annual training cycle is mainly different in specifity of training load. Training load is heading from training of universal condition to gaining universal and specified condition in scope of activity in training of game skills. Results are presented by using tablets and column graphs. Keywords: floorball, annual training cycle, training volume, specifity of training load, training unit

Title: The comparison of time utilization of ice-hockey players during the competition on a small area and on the whole skating ring (Pee-Wee). Goal: To compare and determine the most proper combination of size of the playing area and the number of younger school age players during an ice-hockey match. Methodics: File for research: 25 video recordings from ice-hockey competition of Pee-Wee age children on skating rings of three different sizes. Three players with different level of abilities were chosen from every competition. The result of the evaluation is the total ice time during the game and also the time players were on the puck. Statistic methods: A direct method of observing was used during the evaluation of individual players. To generalize the results an analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. Conclusion: The analysis of the research showed that active participation of as many players as possible in an ice-hockey match is the best possible through combination of half size skating ring with two teams playing four on four. Key words: ice hockey, younger school age, time on the puck
