Waste Elimination on Press Brakes

This diploma thesis deals with a proposal for the elimination of losses on press brakes and the overall improvement and optimization of the press brake process. The design part of the work contains two proposals, both with the aim of eliminating losses and increasing the performance of the press break workshop. The work is divided into six main parts from the theoretical starting points, through the analysis of the entire production process, detailed analysis of the bending process, to the design of the solution and its evaluation.

The basis of this thesis is a description and an analysis of estachology within the Christian ethics during the cultural eras of past millenniums, and their comparison with the development of a recent estachology, an outline of a possible development of death's perception in future. The thesis has a character of a summarizing study from the development of an early mythic life mode, over the development of the Ancient art of living 'Ars vivendi', over the origin and development of medieval 'Ars moriendi' its decay within the onset of modern times, and the effort of modern history to develop the art of immortality until its renaissance in later modern times. The aim of this thesis is to collect, interpret, analyse and review the positive effect of Christian ethics on a post-modern human being, the effect motivating to choose quality life values, the effect helping the human being to accept calmly the mortality of him or herself and his or her relatives. Accessible materials are looked upon from the point of view of sociology, Christian ethics, and period art's creation, so the thesis presents the period's atmosphere and motives of past and recent approach of a human being to own impermanence. The main theme of this bachelor thesis is the piarist church of Saint Francis Serafin located in Lipník nad Bečvou. At the beginning the social conditions of the town will be introduced and the influence of Francis of Dietrichstein, who brought piarists there, will be mentioned as well. The aim of dissertation is to set the church's features into a wider context of contemporary artists who worked for the order, and iconographic analysis of interior which was created in order to represent The Piarists. Ethical dilema and economic aspects of overtreating terminally ill patients in current society Abstract The aim of this thesis is to outline problems of over-treating terminally ill patients in the final stage of their illness in current society in context of ethics, bioethics and economic factors. Based on medical, ethical and economic texts, we will try to analyse if current ethical principles, law standards and economic level of development of current society ensures enough such a medical care to each and every individual in line with human dignity. Do the health workers who treat terminally ill patients realize their power as well as powerlessness when it comes to fighting life and death? What makes them to start and continue such therapy that does not bring any benefit to the patient and what is the purpose to this? Is it possible to die with dignity? Can death be more meaningful in comparison to life? The first part of this thesis will focus on the theoretical point of view of these problems. The second part of this thesis will try to analyse the problems with the help of sociological research among the general population, but as well as among health workers who stand in front of ethical and economical challenges in each and every day. Death penalty and its perception at the Apostolic Church The Diploma thesis deals with the death penalty and its perception at the Apostolic Church. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concept of punishment, its function and purpose. It deals with the arguments of the opponents and proponents of absolute punishment, their weakness and strengths. It describes the purpose of punishment in the Bible and interprets the Old Testament and the New Testament passages that deal with the highest punishment. The empirical part of the thesis examines the views and opinions of leaders in the Apostolic Church on the issue of the capital punishment. To determine the data of the thesis is used a quantitative investigation.
