Following - the fourth chapter - is focused on essentiality and nonessentiality and redundance of information while measurement of social reality. The next chapter displays how the indicators might be used in the Czech Republic. The sixth one is focused on indicators establishing necessity justification. The last chapter describes possibilities and value of indicators dispersion both square and in number.
Spherically symmetrical thermal counterflow of superfluid helium
Novotný, Filip ; Schmoranzer, David (advisor) ; Kohout, Jaroslav (referee)
The principal aim of this Thesis was the investigation of quantum tur- bulence in superfluid helium in a special type of flow, spherically symmetric thermal counterflow. To this end, a new cell was designed and 3D-printed. Measurements of quantum turbulence were realized using the traditional technique of second sound attenuation, focusing both on steady state of tur- bulence and its temporal decay. The measured dependence of the quantized vortex line density L versus the counterflow velocity vns, where the data clearly show that L ∝ v3/2 ns , does not agree with the Vinen equation, which predicts L ∝ v2 ns. On the other hand, the dependence of vortex line density on time t obtained during the decay measurements L ∝ t−1 is paradoxically in close agreement with the Vinen equation. For the future, spherically sym- metrical thermal counterflow thus promises many interesting challenges and will remain an important topic of research. 1

TITLE: The Ancient Ideal in the Concept of Miroslav Tyrš AUTHOR: Filip Novotný DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Charles University SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar. Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of the thesis is to describe the ancient ideal, which can be understood as a historical fact, when this ideal originates. Furthermore, this work describes how this ideal is manifested in art and how this ideal can be understood philosophically. The main aim of this work is to describe the ancient ideal in the concept of Miroslav Tyrš, who was inspired by the ancient world and modern philosophical directions. Sokol, who founded it as a physical education unity, was not a goal in itself, but a means of applying this ideal in Bohemia in the 19th century, which helped to shape democratic education in Bohemia, which helped to establish independent Czechoslovakia, when the falcons were numerous legion members. The methods used to elaborate this work are especially literary searches where both primary sources and secondary sources were used. Deduction methods, quantitative method, chronological method, probe method, qualitative method. The conclusion of this diploma thesis is that the falcon was not only a physical education organization, but it was an environment that prompted...

Are Cryptocurrencies Gambling Asset?
Novotný, Filip ; Krištoufek, Ladislav (advisor) ; Kuc, Matěj (referee)
Cryptocurrencies are newly emerging asset class that has received a lot of at- tention recently. Many investors are considering investing in them as a way of portfolio diversification. This thesis examines whether cryptocurrencies are gambling assets which could be important for investors' decision making and also for better understanding of the cryptocurrencies themselves. Gambling asset is understood in terms of stocks and therefore a comparison of crypto- currency and stock lottery characteristics is made. It is shown that in most time periods it cannot be said that cryptocurrencies exhibit larger lottery characteristics. Furthermore, it is shown that Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Dash and Monero would classify as gambling asset, however, Bitcoin would not. Safety of the fuel stored in water pool
Mičian, Peter ; Novotný, Filip (referee) ; Foral, Štěpán (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with storing the spent nuclear fuel and reviewing its safety. The theoretical part analyzes the processes taking place while the fuel is being used, such as fission, isotopic changes, fission gas release, cracking, swelling and densification of fuel pellet. The thesis is also focused on handling the spent fuel and on the way it makes from the reactor, through the spent fuel pool, the transportation, various kinds of storing, till the reprocessing and final deep geological repository. Furthermore, this part of the thesis briefly discusses computing code MCNP, its main characteristics, input files and using. The practical part of the work is focused on creating the model of the spent fuel pool located next to the nuclear reactor WWER 440/V213. This type was chosen, because it is the most used type of nuclear reactor in Czech Republic and Slovakia. With the help of the code MCNP, the multiplication factor of the main configurations of the fuel in the pool was calculated, and then the required safety regulations to ensure sufficient subcriticality, so its safety, were checked. Next, several analysis were performed using this model. These analyses were concerning the temperature of coolant, fuel and the use of various nuclear data libraries. In the future this model can be used to realize new analyses with new kinds of fuels, materials and data libraries.
