Utilization of light emitting diode lighting for cycle tracks
Mikula, Martin ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with construction of the illuminational modules for cycle tracks. Result is design of lamp for lighting at cycle tracks, staffed by the LED diodes. Single parts bachelor’s thesis are: - text report on the development and current state lighting - development LED diodes in the world -analysis my project - computer visualizations of the final design and technical documentation
Thermodiagnostics – contact and contact-free temperature measurements
Mikula, Martin ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with thermodiagnostics in industrial practise, which is very important for the assessment of technical condition of object on the basis of temperature, in today's time. It includes summary of contact and contact-free methods and their principle, advantages and disadvantages for aplication in industrial practise. Because of thesis it was carried out measurement in company Daikin Device Czech republic with the use of contact thermometer and two available thermocameras for solving of topical tasks relating to production.
Carbon Fibre Composite Materials
Mikula, Martin ; Molliková, Eva (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
In the first part of a Bachelor's work there is a general introduction with composite materials. These materials are seperated on the basis of matrix kind. The production of composite materials is described as well. The second part is focused on the carbon fibre materials in more detail. The application of composite materials in aviation industry is in the third part of the Bachelor's work.
Hydromobil - design of hydraulic part and transmission
Mikula, Martin ; Robenek, Dětřich (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This thesis covers the design and the construction of vehicle, which is powered by pressured fluid. The vehicle has driving system based on mechanical – hydraulic recuperation of kinetic energy during braking of vehicle. Her secondary part is used only by the start of vehicles. The thesis describes possibilities of kinetic energy recovery and in more detail explaines kinetic energy recovery with use of hydraulic systems and their practice use. The main part of the thesis contains a design of hydromobil with demonstration of individual options in outline. The selection of the whole hydraulic connection and transmission is described in detail as well as the construction of particular components of the vehicle.
Preparation of nanowires for photonics
Mikula, Martin ; Grym, Jan (referee) ; Kolíbal, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with nanowires of zinc oxide and of cesium lead bromide. Main goal was a preparation of ZnO nanowires using MBE. This goal was partially achieved and growth of needle-like structures was observed. Another goal was characterization of already prepared ZnO nanowires. We successfully determined polarity of their surfaces, examined the influence of lattice defects and assessed the result of their doping. Side goal of this work was characterization of nanostructures of cesium lead bromide. However, preparation of cesium lead bromide nanowires remains an open issue.
Growth of ZnO nanowires
Mikula, Martin ; Voborný, Stanislav (referee) ; Kolíbal, Miroslav (advisor)
In this thesis the most important properties of nanowires are briefly characterized and possible methods of their synthesis are described. Special attention is paid to zinc oxide nanostructures as well as VLS mechanism, which is crucial for explanation of nanowire growth. Furthermore, deposition chamber for growth of ZnO nanowires has been assembled and effusion cell for zinc has been tested. Testing of the cell revealed one major drawback of its design, which prevents its use for zinc deposition. Therefore, no growth of ZnO nanowires has been carried out and before it can be accomplished, the effusion cell has to be modified.
Experience of peer workers in the field of mental health care
Mikula, Martin ; Chrz, Vladimír (advisor) ; Hrabec, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of our thesis is to describe and gain the best possible understanding of the experience of peer consultants in the field of mental health care. Additionally, it involves identifying essential phenomena that may arise during their mentioned experiences and carry stimuli suitable for further analysis. For these reasons, we chose a qualitative approach in conducting our research. Specifically, we opted for Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, which allows for a detailed focus on the form of experience of individual respondents and its nuances. The respondents consisted of three adult women and two adult men aged between 26 and 56. Each of them is employed as a peer consultant in either health or social services. We gathered data through semi- structured interviews, analyzing it on two levels. Firstly, we outlined and analyzed the experience of each respondent and its specific details. Secondly, we conducted an analysis of the themes that were common among the respondents, yet held analytical potential in relation to the studied phenomenon. These themes include lived experience with SMI (Serious Mental Illness), initiation and initial difficulties, changes in relationships, new coping strategies, and transformations in identity or social roles. In the final chapter, we compared the results...
Experience of stigmatization in people with affective disorder
Mikula, Martin ; Chrz, Vladimír (advisor) ; Hrabec, Ondřej (referee)
The intention of this thesis is description and understanding of experience of stigmatization in people, who live with affective disorders. Another goal is identification of various phenomena, which can occur during this experience and are in some way key for it. For these reasons we decided for qualitative approach in our research. As a specific method we chose the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, because it allows putting major focus on the form of experience of each individual participant. The participants were two females and two males in the age from 20 to 28 and all of them have experience with depressive disorder or bipolar affective disorder. We acquired the data with the assistance of semi-structured interviews and analysis of this data took place on two levels. First the individual experience of each participant was analyzed with its specifics to the greatest detail possible. Following analysis of themes which were common for few or all participants and were in some way significant to them within the framework of examined phenomenon. Those themes are disclosing of diagnosis and symptoms, experience of mental illness in the surroundings, stigmatizing statements and behavior, complications in romantic relationships, complication at workplace and passing on own experience to the...
