Large Scene Rendering

Work discusses rendering of complex scenes and terrain. It's main task is to show the extensive scenery terrain that normally do not fit in the graphic card memory. It introduce the theory of terrain rendering including terrain level of detail algoritms. The paper presents the design and implementation of application that implements dynamic streaming of complex terrain.

Modelling of lithium ion batteries using ECM

The main aim of this paper are models of Li-Ion storage batteries made and simulated in ANSYS Fluent software. Various ways of simulations are discussed with main aim on ECM method and how its numerical model is computed. A process of getting information and required data from real battery to be compared with simulation results by EIS method is also discussed. These results are then compared with results from ANSYS Fluent.

Robot Motion Simulator

Robot simulation is currently an essential part of robotic development and selection of the simulator plays an important role. The aim was to highlight why it is important simulation and show its advantages and disadvantages. Another objective was to map overview of current simulation tools used in robotics. The aim was to propose a number of experiments that compare the environmental Gazebo and Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio with a focus on comparing the physical properties of the simulator. Finally, it was included in the evaluation of the experiments and practical experience with the two instruments.

Methods for generating computational grids suitable for finite element method

This paper is focused on the problematic of the meshes and tries to introduce the basic kinds of these meshes with their advantages and disadvantages. The algorithm of choosen methods of generations is further described. Moreover it introduces in detail the method of generation quadrilateral mesh via the dual graph method presented in work Nowottny, 1999. There is described how to make the start dual graph, it's factorization and the final redualization into quadrilateral mesh. The own implementation of this method in the python programming language is included.

Analysis of the SQUFOF algoritm

This thesis deals with collecting facts and making the complete analysis of SQUFOF algorithm. In the beginning you can find a short hystorical re- view and then it continues with desribing how the binary quadratic forms, which represents the number N, continued fractions of √ N, ideals in the ring Z( √ N) and lattices in Q( √ N) are related. This thesis offers the tools usable to switch between these structures and finally it uses these tools to show, how the algorithm SQUFOF works. 1
