The Phenomenon of Being Old and Dying as Seen in Contemporary Society and the Bible.

Human society is getting old. We have to learn many new things about old people and dying, too. The work is divided into three basic parts. The first part is psychosocial view of being old and dying - society's attitude towards the old, how the old receive their physical and mental changes, society's looking at diseases and dying. The second part is biblical view of these phenomenons - the position of the old people in that time, society's attitude toward diseases and dying (new comprehension dying in New Testament). After biblical view follows philosophic. The last part is practical. In the research people were asked what they think about doctors' attitude towards dying people, if present society sufficiently speak about dying and death, if the care about the old people is acceptable, if they are able to speak about dying with their family, if they are afraid of dying and if so which things they have the biggest fear of.
The Integration of the Wheelchair Bound into Society.

My work deals with the integration of wheelchair disabled persons into the society and it is focused on current situation in Czech Republic. In the first part of my work, consisting of four chapters handicap is defined (from the historical, cultural and psycho-social point of view). I particularly deal with main approaches of major society to handicapped people during the evolution of the human society to understand it nowadays. The second part, also consisting of four chapters I pay attention on some basic efforts and activities of this integrative process - for example educational system, social care a social services, employment support, transport possibilities, health care delivery and leisure time activities.
The Final Things of Human Beings: Euthanasia and Palliative Care

This study is divided into three sections. The first one devoted the broad issue of euthanasia, the second one to palliative care and third presents results of my empirical research work. The second part of this work discusses palliative medicine and hospice movement. The third part of the work brings results of my own research on this broad issue of euthanasia and hospice care that can be taken only as a sampler of the query problems.
Drug Delinquency Among Children and Juveniles

The diploma theses deals with drug-related crime of children and juveniles, thus with criminal activity of unauthorized productions and possessions of narcotic and psychotropic substance s according to Sections 187, 187a, 188 and promotion of drug addiction according to Section 188a of The Penal Code. We deal here with the development of the drug situation in the Czech Republic, with a view to children and juveniles, the penal adjustment of the drug delinquencies, the connections between drug criminality and juvenile criminality, the causes of the beginning of drug addiction, with a view to family and school background, free time and generation group, the character of young criminal drug-user, prevention, punishments, proceedings and justice above juveniles. The practical part of the diploma theses contains research of drug- related crime of juveniles from point of view of the clientele of Nízkoprahové středisko Drop ln.
Old Age and Contemporary Society

Development of community can be understood from the level of care of seniors. This study is focused on questions concerning this problem. The questions how today's society is opened to older people, how seniors are concerned in everyday life of the society, which services and care are accessible to seniors in our society are studied. Gerontology, processes of aging and sicknesses connected with it are also mentioned. The main goal of the work is to present a new view on broad issue of growing old and old age in contemporary society. The study starts from The Czech National Program of Preparation for Old Age 2003-2007 and observes how i t is successful to carry out this program. Also further current problems connected with aging are studied.
Satitherapy

My work deals with the satitherapy - a psychoterapy in which western psychotherapy and abhidhammic princip les (based on Buddha's teaching) are combined. In the first chapter I define the central theme and the content of my work. I also take account of Mirko Frýba - the original creator of satitherapy. The second chapter comprise the factual core of my work. In this part some basic conceptions of abhidhamma and satitherapy are given. The third chapter contains the evaluation of the satitherapy analysis.

Pupil integration with sensory disabilities do apperenticeship.

The Bachelor´s thesis of a title Pupil integration with sensory disabilities do apperenticeship is mainly focused on definition of hearing and sight handicap; I have described the medical consequences of these handicaps, the ways of communication of people with hearing handicap, for example lip-reading or sign languages. I have presented even the Braille´s script. The term of integration is also described here. Furthemore, I devote to educating of such handicapped pupils in the Czech Republic. To get some research results I used the questionnaire research. I conducted that in the Secondary, Elementary and Nursery School in Holečkova Street in Prague. I had chosen that school because it is a sole provider of education for hearing handicapped pupils in branches finished with Certificate of Apprenticeship. I used the questionnaires to get an answer to the question I had asked. The director of the school mentioned above helped me very much to deal the questionnaires to the pupils and fill them in. I have used graphs to illustrate the results. With the questionnare research I found out that the pupils are prepared and mainly able to be integrated. However, in conditions which have to be provided to the pupils by specific school. The long process is still needed to get perfect integration and living together of handicapped and healthy pupils in the same school.
SPU consequences for secondary and post-secondary education

Bachelor thesis titled Consequences of specific learning for secondary and post-secondary education is about social and educational integration of people with disabilities. Further deals with the causes and consequences of specific learning disabilities in postsecondary education. The theoretical part deals with the causes, consequences and manifestations of specific learning disabilities. He describes dyslexia, dysorthographia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. Also taken pains to education, pedagogical diagnosis, evaluation and classification of these pupils. Recalls the possibility of using an individual educational program, these pupils make their education. It describes the methods used by teachers in a particular middle school in Prague. A significant part of the work deals with reeducation, which deals with the whole personality of pupils with specific learning difficulties. The practical part of the evaluation uses multiple tools, identifying information (questionnaire) for it to be identified as a specific learning informed by teachers and pupils in a particular middle school. Result of the questionnaire survey shows that teachers at the college access for students with learning disabilities professionally and utilize all available possibilities of education.
Integration of pupil with sensory disabilities into apprenticeship departments

Bachelor thesis entitled Integration of pupil with sensory disabilities into apprenticeship departments with educational and social integration of students with certain disabilities. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of integration and inclusion, comparing the Czech Republic and other European countries. It focuses on visual impairment, development, causes and consequences. Describes in detail the education of visually impaired people, its history and present conditions and the integration of pupils with this disability. He does not forget also the work of a teacher and an assistant teacher in the teaching of pupils with visual impairment. The practical part uses multiple tools, identifying information (questionnaire) to do in order to determine how a visual impairment informed teachers at specific elementary school informed parents and parents' opinion on sensory visual impairment and its integration in elementary school.
