Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem termální kamery pro biologické aplikace. V první části je popsáné infračervené záření, také známé jako thermální záření. Pokračuje popisem emisivity objektů, která hraje důležitou roli při stanovení teploty snímaného objektu. Dále je v první kapitole uveden přehled typů termálních detektorů a jejich základní vlastnosti. Druhá kapitola stručně seznamuje se zákládními hardwarovými komponenty vyvíjené kamery. V poslední kapitole je popsán celý proces vývoje softwaru. Ten zahrnuje vývoj IP jader, kernel modulů a C++ knihoven.

Engineering geological conditions of selected route cuts on the D7 highway between Prague and Louny

Engineering geological conditions of selected road cuts of the D7 highway between Prague and Louny. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the engineering geological conditions of selected cut sections of the D7 highway and the continuing road I/7 on the track between Prague and Louny, respectively between road kilometers 9 and 49. Due to many influences, there are significant engineering geological phenomenom occurring in the line sections of line constructions, which in many cases have an adverse effect on the maintenence of road and traffic. In the framework of this thesis archive research of geological map, project and electronic materials were done, on the basis of which the general characteristic of the territory of interest were processed. Geomorphological, geological and hydrogeological conditions were described, influencing by historical mining, slope deformations and antropogenic activity were included. Field reconnaissance and geological documentation of cut sections including available outcrops were continuously conducted. General description of individual cut sections and detailed engineering geological documentation of selected sections was elaborated. The Ethics of Nudging

The bachelor thesis "Nudging and its Ethical Dimension" describes the topic of applied economic, psychological and communication knowledge and principles of human behaviour, decision making and persuasion through nudging theory. This theory puts into contrast with philosophical and ethical principles that are relevant to the topic, so that ethicality and unethicality can be pointed out. It does so in two parts. The first part covers the definition, history, development and application of nudging theory as a practical intervention based on the knowledge of behavioural economics. The second part covers general philosophical-ethical level, through identification of historical philosophical and ethical principles in nudging. Afterwards, it focuses on specific critical points that are relevant to the theme in order to come up with the general principles of ethics.

Possible approaches to the treatment of cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease caused by a mutation in the CFTR gene. This leads to an absence or a malfunction of CFTR chloride channel, which is also a crutial regulator of other ion channels. This thesis was aimed at gene therapy of cystic fibrosis using CFTR- mRNA gene transfer. To determine the expression of CFTR protein, methods of indirect immunofluorescence and Western blot immunodetection were utilized. Also relative gene expression levels of CFTR gene were assessed by quantitative PCR. Experiments were carried out on a healthy lung epithelial cell line (NuLi-1), a lung epithelial cell line with F508del mutation (CuFi-1) and an embryonic kidney epithelial cell line (HEK293S). CFTR protein was visualized by previously mentioned methods using six primary antiobodies (432, 450, 570, 596, 769, CF3). Primary antibodies 570 a CF3 were found as optimal for the detection of CFTR protein by the method of indirect immunofluorescence, whereas for the detection of this protein by the method of Western blot only the CF3 antibody was suitable. It was also determined that CFTR gene is expressed in overall small levels. Its relative gene expression in the CuFi-1 cell line was approximately six times higher than in the NuLi-1 cell line. Thermoluminescence measurement system

This thesis deals with revision and design of electronic for measuring system PSI TL 500 which is designed for measurement of thermoluminescence phenomena in photosystem II. Thesis describes principles and properties of the measuring system in its current form and changes for the new version are discussed. Digital control part based on Xilinx Zynq platform is designed. Revision of analog measuring part of system is made and partial changes are implemented.
