Direct sale and its importance in retailing

The main goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to find out what are the main reasons for a customer to buy a product, and what makes difference in making decision for a client. "Navigate, selling the way people like to buy", is the book which will be used for theoretical part, from author Dustin Hillis. Dustin Hillis is a very successful sales person and divides customers into 4 different groups based on style they like to buy products. The same method used for example Lee McCroskey in his seminar "Becoming a Chameleon". I will use those 4 types of customers in first part to compare theory with my experience from direct sales. For practical use I have chosen Southwestern Company. I will use mainly my own experience and notes that I collected last 3 years. I personally sold products to 850 customers in 240 days. In last part of this thesis I will analyze how useful is theoretical knowledge in particular sales situations and also types of customers.
Talent Development in a particular company

The Master thesis is focused on describing a structure and importance of Talent Management in a particular company. The aim of this thesis is to describe a current process of Talent managing and developing in the chosen company. Based on an analysis of strengths and weaknesses and evaluation of current situation are recommended relevant changes. These changes would increase effectiveness of the process. In theoretical part are defined terms and definitions, which were obtained by studying of secondary sources. There are also described trends of Talent Management and impact of economic crisis on Talent Management. At the conclusion, there is made a summary which also includes specific recommendations for Talent Management in chosen company.
Intercultural aspects of cooperation – Czechs, Germans and Austrians

The objective of the thesis is to identify specific features of the German and Austrian cultures and to examine how the cultural differences are reflected in a mutual cooperation with representatives of the Czech culture. The thesis also contains an introduction into intercultural management and methodology of cultural dimensions and standards and their most popular representatives. Cultural standards of Germans and Austrians were examined by means of an interview and questionnaire research among Czechs who have been repeatedly and on a long-term basis in contact with either of the mentioned cultures. In order to get a better understanding of the other parties the research was also conducted among Germans and Austrians who have been in contact with representatives of the Czech culture. The thesis is recommended to businesspeople, managers, workers and any other individuals who are about to cooperate with Germans or Austrians.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the recruitment and selection process at A.T. Kearney. Thesis is focused on a description of current practices and methods of recruitment and selection process in the company, recommendations how to improve the process are part of the thesis as well. This thesis is divided into two parts. In theoretical part, reader is informed about particular phases and methods of recruitment and selection process. Practical part consists of A.T. Kearney introduction, selection and recruiting process characteristics and analysis and survey. Survey investigates the students' preferences and factors relevant when selecting future employer as representatives of the youngest generation in the working age, Generation Y. At the end, there are the recommendations for improvement of current practices of A.T. Kearney recruitment and selection process.

Employee motivation system in Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s.

The success of every company consists from a great part in its human resources and a well-motivated work team can help the company to achieve good results. The thesis concentrates on the analysis of the current motivation level of the employees in Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s., on the survey of its strengths and weaknesses and on suggestion of steps for improvement of the motivation in the company. The theoretic part introduces the problems of motivation, provides a summary of motivation theories and particular motivators, and in its last part describes the motivation program of an organization. The practical part introduces at first the company Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s. and its current motivation system, then it analyses the level of motivation of the employees and the data gained from the analysis. According to them, suggestions for improvement of the motivation system and satisfaction of the employees are stated in the conclusion of the work.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze Czech perspective of German cultural standards. These standards are defined by both author's personal experiences and by interviews with persons who have had first-hand experience with German culture. Standards described in this thesis are supposed to understandably show key differences between Czech and German mentality. Advice and recommendations for effective dealing with German (or Czech respectively) culture on business, HR management or team cooperation level will also be provided in the thesis. Theoretical part should introduce and define following terms: national culture, social interaction, cultural standards, cultural dimensions, intercultural communication, and intercultural communication competence.

The diploma thesis "System of work motivation in the company TOKOZ a.s." deals with motivation of employees focusing on evaluation, remuneration and education. The practical part focusses on the specific company which is TOKOZ a.s. and their system of motivation. Further it evaluates the situation in the company and suggests eventual arrangements which could contribute to greater satisfaction of employees in the company.

The aim of this thesis is to describe all the processes connected with recruitment in audit and advisory companies. This thesis focuses on particular phases of the recruitment process from the view of candidate and presents also some recommendations and warnings. The whole thesis can be divided into two sections. The theoretical part submits the comprehensive overwiev of phases, preparation and all the documents needed for the interview. This part provides answers to different questions related to curriculum vitae, covering letter, assessment centre, tests and personal interviews. The content of the practical part is a detailed description of recruitment in consulting company KPMG Czech Republic. The final chapter compares the process of recruitment in a different significantly smaller advisory company.
