Dynamics of Everyday Life in Dialogue with Emmanuel Lévinas
Jandová, Tereza ; Sokol, Jan (advisor) ; Bierhanzl, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Karel (referee)
The main objective of this research is to look at the topic of everyday life from a dynamic perspective. The definition of everyday life that this thesis stands upon, i.e. the presence of a subject in the world with the other(s) outlines also two main sources of its dynamics: the world and the other. The essential aim of this thesis is to show that the different attitudes towards the world and the other in the works of Husserl and Lévinas consequently influence the understanding of the everyday life as such, as well as the requirements it imposes upon the subject. The chapter dedicated to Husserl presents his concept of the world as a horizon, the irreplaceable position of perception in our access to the world and the creation of the other within the subject itself. On the contrary, Lévinas stresses the separation of the subject and he understands the world and the other as inherently belonging to this never-ending process. The motive of dependence and responsibility of the subject for the other belongs to the most significant differences between the two philosophers. Whereas Husserl proposes us a subject in the world which he accesses via perception and in which he encounters the other, Lévinas shows us subject that is born to the pre-reflexive and intersubjective world from which he first has to...
Possibilities and Limits of Care in Childern's Homes and a Model of a Possible Alternative
Jandová, Tereza ; Rotreklová, Eva (advisor) ; Šmídová, Olga (referee)
This thesis concerns the problems connected with the legal protection of children in the Czech Republic. In particular it focuses on possibilities of taking care of children who are forced to live out of the family. All contemporary possibilities how to care about such children as well as legislative of these amenities are surveyed and financial system of these is introduced. Based on background professional research, the most common reasons for placing children out of their own families are presented. Work and function of homes for children are described in further details. The theoretical part offers the view into historical development of taking care of Czech children without any stable and functioning family background, some good experience examples from France and samples of endeavour to remedy the situation in Slovakia are mentioned. The inner part of the thesis is the issue concerning not only wide variety of psychological theories but also the satisfaction of children development needs. Research part traces fulfilling children development needs in a particular children home taking into consideration the point of view of the staff, the parents whose children were placed there and the youngsters who were cared about. According to the latter and the research summary, a model of children care...
Differentiation and crystallization of evolved granitic melts, the Říčany pluton, central Bohemian Massif
Jandová, Tereza ; Dolejš, David (advisor) ; René, Miloš (referee)
Evolved silicic rocks display a variety of igneous textures, which can provide important information on crystallization kinetics and rheology in natural magma chambers. Individual kinetic effects such as diffusion rate, nucleation rate, growth rate and post-solidification modifications are likely to be reflected in the modal and textural appearance of the resulting rock. This work focuses on characterization and interpretation of solidification textures in a 600 m wide and 5 km long body of highly evolved, boron-rich aplites and pegmatites at the southern endocontact of the Říčany granite pluton (Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex). This rock suite is associated with biotite Říčany granite, hosting microgranite and aplite dyke swarm, and it is built up by massive tourmaline aplites, layered aplites with tourmaline-rich or locally garnet-rich bands, pegmatite pockets, pegmatite layers with unidirectional solidification textures (comb layers), megacryst zones (analogous to stockscheider), and late pegmatite dykes discordant to layering. Textural as well as modal variations are usually sharp and observable megascopically as well as on the microscale. All aplites and pegmatites usually contain similar proportions of quartz, albite-rich plagioclase, K-feldspar, various proportions of tourmaline (up to...
Hydrodynamic and thermal mode ling of reactive flow in the surroundings of intrusions
Jandová, Tereza ; Dolejš, David (advisor) ; Bruthans, Jiří (referee)
English Summary Intrusion of magma into the Earth's crust is associated with significant thermal perturbations, release of aqeuous fluids and formation of hydrothermal system. In order to better understand the feedback relationships between fluid flow, thermal evolution and permeability variations, we have modeled conductive and advective cooling of a shallow- crustal pluton using the SHEMAT software. Our model represents a two-dimensional cross section through the lithosphere with homogeneous material properties, whebery the heat and mass conservation equations are solved by finite difference method. We first calculate the stable lithospheric geotherm by emplying constant basal thermal flow of 40 mW m-2 and a constant surface temperature. Subsequently, we consider a rectangular magmatic intrusion emplaced at 5-10 km depth, which forms a contact aureole by conductive cooling. With time, a mushroom-like shape of the contact aureole is predicted. Inclusion of aqueous fluid flow into the model causes only a small alteration of thermal evolution mainly because the permeability is low and the fluid mass is negligible due to very low density under hydrothermal conditions. In addition to thermal effects, we have explored variations in hydraulic head in order to address the ensuing effects on the flow velocity. The...
Conception of Dailiness
Jandová, Tereza ; Novotný, Karel (advisor) ; Sokol, Jan (referee)
The Concept of everyday life in the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas in dialogue with Martin Heidegger By analysing everyday life with Levinas I try to reveal that the « familiar » or the « ordinary » world does not have to be considered as impersonal, as a decline or as a deficiency, but on the contrary, that such a naif situation can gain an essential status for the concept of a man as such. Confrontation between Levinas and Heidegger shows us, that the gravity of Dasein remains inside of him and for that reason the everyday life seeks to relieve, whereas what Levinas tries to do is exactly to remove from the very beginning this gravity from the subject into his dependence and responsiblity for the Other. Suprisingly, the everyday life characterised by enjoyment remains more charged with Levinas than is the case with Heidegger. Thus we do not need to search for an escape from everyday life in the depth of Dasein to discover his fundaments, but on the contrary we have to stay in a dialogue with the Other, in an ethic relation with other person and all this within the everyday life.
Comparison and evaluation of management and economic results of selected retailers
JANDOVÁ, Tereza
The main purpose of this thesis was to compare and evaluate status of management and economy system of the selected retail units and based on this analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of the companies and to determine potential measures to improve. For this thesis I chose PRIOR ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA, s.r.o., the second company I focused on was the OD Andy, s.r.o. I focused mainly on their management, organization, economy, human resources and then I also analyzed the macro environment of these companies. For this step I used the STEP analyses.
"Der Funke Leben". Aspects of an concentration camp in Erich Maria Remarques novel.
JANDOVÁ, Tereza
My thesis describes a fictional concentration camp Mellern, that lies in Germany, and that made up and described E.M.Remarque. He donated this novel to his sister Elfriede, who was killed by Nazis. I wanted to show how the concentration camp looked like during the World War Two, in which parts it was divided and how it was divided. Then I describe and interpret the main characters of the novel. I occupy with the prisoners? feelings. The most important feeling is the hope. The prisoners would probably not have survived without the hope. The hope that keeps them alive and gives them courage and self-confidence to fight and not to give up.
The management and economy system of the selected retail unit
JANDOVÁ, Tereza
The goal of the thesis The management and economy system of the selected retail unit is to evaluate status of management and economy system of the PRIOR ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA, s. r. o. and based on this analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of the company and potential measures to improve. The first part of thesis covers the theoretical information about issues, in particular the definition of basic terms of trade, retail and financial analysis. The second part of thesis includes application theoretical knowledges.
