Agency employment in the Czech Republic and problems connected with it

This dissertation drala with one one form of employing, that is on the labour market especially in the last days very sought, agency employing. It looks on this way of employing from the legal view and analyses other aspects of this employing way, law and obligation individual sides of this working relationship and last but not least possibilities of control and obligation sanction from the state side. Chapter one deals with definition of the term "agency employing" from the economic and law point of view. Next chapter deals with law aspects agency employing in conditions of the Czech labour market. The theme of the third chapter is other subject on the Czech labour market, it also can negotiate employment, employment office. Next chapters deals with other aspects of agency employing , under the Czech and also international conditions, law and obligations of agency employers and at least main problems agency employing and its possibilities of solution. The end is focused on the current difficult situation on the labour market.
Minimum wage in the Czech Republic and European Union

The Master's thesis deals with analysis of the minimum wage in the Czech Republic and European Union. The first three chapters describe the function and development of the minimum wage, as well as the theoretical approaches of the minimum wage. Furthermore the arguments for and against the minimum wage are summarized. In the practical part the development of the minimum wage in the Czech Republic from 1991 is analyzed and the minimum wage across the EU countries is compared. The last analysis follows minimum wage based on further criteria: unemployment rate and poverty. The results show that during the years, in which the minimum wage increases more than average wage, the unemployment rate in Czech Republic is higher. Moreover, the countries with higher minimum wage have lower in-work-poverty rate.
Czech labour market

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the labour market in Czech Republic in the period 2007 -- 2012 and evaluate the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy in this area. Attention is also paid on implementation of sub-nation targets based on strategy Europe 2020. This thesis seeks comprehensive approach and set all the parameters to a real economic framework.
International migration of qualified labor resources; Experiences of Georgia and Czech Republic

In this dissertation thesis is analyzed the emigration problem of qualified labor resources from chosen countries. And on behalf of the Czech Republic successful experience analyze, in migration management of qualified workers, was generated the recommendations to Georgian government for in time solving of problematic situation in country. The authors own research held in Czech Republic and in Georgia, underlined the factors influencing migration process from Georgia and brought his constructive approach in "brain drain" problem solution and in supporting process of "brain gain". But thesis alsoshows that not every successful experience could be useful for Georgian case. Given thesis is unique by his way of deep research of "brain drain" problem from Georgia and by setting order of solution priorities.
Older workers in the labour market

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the position of older workers in the european labour market in the context of population ageing. Global development, as well as the development in Europe, is assessed on the basis of the main demographic indicators. I try to evaluate the progress achieved in the period 2000-2009 after the summit in Lisbon. A separate chapter is devoted to demographic development and the situation of older workers in the Czech labour market.

The major focus of this thesis is to discuss the development and current level of the concept of environmental politics in terms of its potential to serve as a general concept for the theoretical understanding of the relationship between man and his natural environment and of its dynamics. To the end the thesis, using a broad literature review, sets the major stages of the development of society focused on the exploitation of natural resources, the protection of nature, and the benefits of natural services, and on ways in which modern societies responded to negatively evaluated impacts of these activities. This serves as a base for analysis and better understanding ofthe development of a key concept of current environmental policy, the concept of sustainable development, the development and current state of the social sciences in terms of environmental issues, as well as their major focus in this area, the current debate over structure and power of environmental goals in modern societies, as well as the issues of effectiveness and integration of governmental environmental policies.
Selected aspects of cohesion policy of European Union

This project is structured into three parts. The first one describes fundamental information about EU which serve as the base for the further analysis. It is focused on institutional framework of the Union and also freedom of movement for goods, services, persons and capital in the unique market. Except of the description of prime principles, there are as well outlined current failures and reforms which could solve them. Strategy of cohesion policy, its goals, tools and financial scope are explained in the text. The second chapter shows impacts of structural policy of EU on the Czech Republic economy. This article will be engaged in questions of structural funds redistribution through Operating programmes, net balance on financial transfers between the Czech Republic and the EU budget and the impact of this transfers on the Czech economic growth. The last theoretical part researches in addition to effects of cohesion policy also further important aspect of the european integration - participation in the unique market. General economic models as Solow model or 2x2 model are exploited and extended by aspects of integration. Subsequently there are researched impacts on allocation effectiveness and welfare of member countries. The purpose of the project is to map the process of sources redistribution in EU, show its uselessly huge administrative severity, consider about its effects and benefits and describe wider contexts of cohesion policy.
Alternative Theories of the Firm in the Context of some Aspects of the Capital Market

Disertační práce se zabývá teoretickou analýzou firmy v kontextu její hodnoty a to zejména prismatem manažerských teorií firmy. Na základě teoretické analýzy jsou formulovány čtyři hypotézy sledující vztah mezi hodnotou firmy a vybranými aspekty vlastnické struktury nebo fundamentálními faktory. Výsledky empirické analýzy jsou interpretovány jak ve vztahu k řízení firmy tak ve vazbě na investiční rozhodování na kapitálovém trhu.
