Didactic and economic evaluation of the process Young peoples Education in the hunting area on example of the region Liberec

This bachelor thesis deals with the education of youth in gamekkping in the Liberec region. The aim was to create a brief research about gamekeepers' education in the Czech Republic. The thesis discusses the evaluation of the range and organization of gamekeepers' education in this region, especially groups of youth in gamekeeping, other campaigns focusing on gamekeeping. There is a part of forest education and ecological and environmental education. In the forms of education, educational aids and studying materials the thesis analyses possibilities of this education, examples of usable educational aids and existing learning literature. The next part of the thesis contains an economic evaluation of this aktivity, a separate chapter is about support and grants from the Liberec region. Finally, there are suggested development measures to increase the quality of education in gamekeeping in the Liberec region.

Analysis of Organizational Arrangement of Environmental Protection

The paper deals with the current form of organizational arrangement of environmental protection in the City of Prague at the level of districts, administrative wards and municipality. It assesses the effectiveness of organizational arrangement and shows disunity of organizational structure. Describes the process of decision making. The paper finds unsatisfactory state, which, however, no one has addressed so far. It analyzes possible solutions and presents options of optimal solution and approach consisting in a reduction of municipalities themselves within the reform of public administration, or in a transfer of execution of public administration to a higher level -- i.e. the administrative ward. It also deals with a number of other related issues, such as administrative workload of staff members and proposes, among other things, to desist from not necessary activities. The text does not assess directly the actual economic effectiveness of the work, for which much more data would be required.

Influence of the effluxion to social acces of the law about return of the church property

This thesis deals with the development of public relations about process of church resti-tutions developed in the context of negotiations on possible ways property settlement. Discussions proceeded in different intensities and different partial results in the period from 1989 to the present. This thesis briefly deals with the historical development concer-ning church property and the property injustices and the definition of related concepts. Furthermore, thesis tries - with regard to social, cultural and demographic development - to chart the transformation of public opinion in relation to the final form of the property settlement law and the eventual shift in social view of its application in practice.

Analysing rights and obligations of owners of forests and trees located in the perimeter of line management (buildings)

This bachelor thesis is dealing with two closely connected themes. First theme is the right and duty analysis of forest owners and operators of linear structures. Technical infrastructure that ensures economic and social prosperity is in the public's best interest however there are several disputes with the private sector because their rights are inhabited. Based on an analysis of the current legislation, we can conclude that there is an impact of restrictions on forest lands and forest owners. Available legislation that solves the issues of linear structures and their protection zones is complicated, however it is transparent. In the second part
of this work are drafted and analyzed options/methods to maintain under power lines. These methods are compared amongst each other, not only from the economic perspective but also in relationship to the environment.

Ecological organisations as forest owners – analysis of a contemporary state in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis Environmental organizations such as forest owners Analysis of the current situation in the Czech Republic deals with issues of forest owners, whose aim is often the mere nature protection. In the Czech Republic the issue of this protection of the nature lay mainly with landtrusts. The thesis aims to explore these subjects to determine the quantitative characteristics of new forest owners and focuses on objective analysis around the management of forest ecosystems. The theoretical part deals with new owners in neighbouring countries and in the Czech Republic. In addition, the thesis states how legislation affects forest owners activities in the Czech republic. The following chapter on landtrusts, which analyses how these associations were established, what is their purpose and current standing in the Czech Republic. A survey about landtrusts activities in terms of environmental protections is provided in the practical part. At the end of the thesis is a comparison between findings acquired from neighbouring countries and data summary gathered from landtrusts in the Czech Rep.

Non-wood forest products and business undertaking in forest management – a comparative analysis of selected products

Diploma on non-wood forest products and business in forest economics comparative analysis of selected products exploring non-wood forest products, as well as comparing Czech plants, and plants, that come from Russia. The purpose of the work is to define the specific concepts, for example, what is a medicinal plant, how it is properly gathered in the forest and so on. The theoretical part of the work deals with specific definitions and explains the methods of cultivation both of plants and fungi, criminal liability for failure to observe order in the forest, providing data on gathering quantities of basic crops in the Czech Republic, description of the main kinds of medicinal fruit and explanation of traditional Chinese medicine. In the practical part of the work there is given a table that compares prices of specific medicinal plants, showing where the purchase of these products is more profitable (within the territory of the Czech Republic or the Russian Federation). In conclusion, the work considers the outcome, analysis of prices of medicines as well as the benefit of gathering medicinal plants.

Questionnaire survey among students of selected secondary forestry (vocational) schools as confrontation of ideas and possibilities in the labour market.

This diploma work is focused on the research of students, who are attending secondary forestry (vocational) schools in The Czech Republic. The main goal was to find out the characteristics of current students at these schools and their motives to start studying exactly forestry. Another aim was to analyse the situation of secondary forestry schools, especially if the number match the need of labour market. For this purpuse, a questionnary survey was carried out among the students of 5 traditional secondary forestry schools (in Trutnov, in Zlutice, in Krivoklat, in Hranice and in Pisek), who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of Forest Mechanic on vocational school or in their 3rd or 4th year of Forestry on secondary school.
Totaly 215 respondents answer the questionnary. The results clearly show, that the students still come from the countryside and are interested in the field of their study. However, they have no specific idea about their future work and only several of them arrange a job before they leave the school. Moreover the number of graduates, produced every year by the schools, several times outnumbered the need of labour market. On the other hand the number of students in vocational schools, not only in forestry, is slowly increasing every year. Therefore there is a possibility, that in the future lower job in forestry would be done more often by fully qualified workers.

Analysis of activities of the state forest administration first-stage authority with special regard to data and forest management records

Analysis of activities of the state forest administration first-stage authority with special regard to data and forest management records in relation to the exercise of state forest administration. In theoretical part of this paper is the summary of the history of forest economic records in our country, some examples from abrouad and legislation dealing with the issue of forest management evidence. Next are added new drafts of changes or amendments to existing legislation in order to improve the current situation. The application part consists of analysis of the activities of the first instance od a state forest administration in relation to the paraghraphs pf Forest Act. Data was analysed from six forests under the state governance, which are responsible for checking the forest economic records and state forest administration. The analysis of decision-making body was made through period of five years from 2008 to 2012 included.
