Analýza demograficko-ekonomické situace regionu jihovýchodní Asie v kontextu populačních politik

The thesis deals with the demographic and economic situation in the region of Southeast Asia with the focus on population policy. There is a relation between population growth and economic development. The region of Southeast Asia is a dynamic demographic where some states have policies that control population growth. There are two types of population policy: antinatalist and pronatalist. Depending on the condition of the population, the state goverment will choose to implement one of these policies. The objective of my thesis is to find out which of these population policies was implemented in selected states in the region of Southeast Asia. In addition I will determine the impact on demographic and economic aspects of the region. I examined only the countries of Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). I constructed composite indicators for my research. Based on the results of the composite indicators, I chose three case studies which are detailed in the thesis.

Comparison of Staff Evaluation As Part of Personnel Activities in Educational Institutions and Profit Organisations

This paper deals with a comparison of the staff evaluation systems in the commercial sector and the education system. The theoretical part highlights the role and significance of personnel work for achieving goals and an organization's strategies, and defines the basic terms from the personnel and staff evaluation areas. It particularly focuses on the description of the functions, goals and methods of staff evaluation; potential problems arising from the evaluation have been covered as well. The small enterprise and the Czech primary school have been selected as representative subjects for the subsequent comparison. Further, the difference between the roles of the for-profit (business) sector and the public sector, between the organizations' goals in both sectors and the basic background of the workings of both organizations are explained. Regarding the enterprise, the focus is also on the context of personnel work and staff evaluation as a means of attaining the financial goals of the business. The section about schools deals with the methods of school management, the particularities of the teachers' profession and the resulting characteristics of personnel work at schools as well as the methods used for teachers' evaluation. The Changes of the Ethical Ideal of Man between Middle Ages and Renaissance

Cílem práce bylo najít a popsat pomocí prostudovaných děl proměňující se obraz člověka a jeho etického ideálu tak, jak ho prezentují autoři těchto děl od první poloviny 14. století až do druhé poloviny 16. století v Itálii a západní Evropě a také na českém území. Je potřeba si uvědomit, že není možné jednoznačně určit, kde končí středověk a jeho pojetí člověka a kde se již zcela prosazují vlivy renesanční, vzhledem k tomu, že mezi těmito dvěma dějinnými epochami neexistuje žádný zřetelný mezník. Vlivy těchto dvou epoch se mnohdy střetávají a vytvářejí tak často smíšený obraz, ve kterém se více či méně prolínají prvky obojího. Právě tyto prvky lze však vyzvednout a ukázat na nich, jakými změnami ideál člověka prochází a také co tyto změny pro člověka znamenají. Při koncipování práce a studiu jednotlivých děl bylo použito schéma, dle kterého byla tato díla zpracovávána ve skupinách podle svého zaměření. V tomto závěru však bylo přihlédnuto spíše obsahovým souvislostem a návaznostem děl, a proto jsou dosažené závěry prezentovány v takovém pořadí, aby mohl být nejlépe zachycen hledaný vývoj a proměny etického ideálu člověka.

The options for primary and secondary schools as the lifelong education providers

The bachelor thesis deals with the concept of lifelong education and its development at international and national level and strategic measures aimed at implementing the principles of lifelong learning, especially in school practice. It focuses on the ways in which schools can participate in this approach, particularly in the area of openness of schools and their change into educational community centres. It describes the concept of community education as a model for the realization of lifelong education in schools.

Vztah Izraele a Íránu prizmatem jaderného programu

This thesis deals with the relations between Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the context of nuclear program. Israel and Iran are situated in the Middle East and both of countries have their own nuclear program. Although states are not contiguous, Israel and Iran be feel threatened by a nuclear program. Especially the Iranian nuclear program is one of the most urgent issues of global security. At first, the thesis describes Iranian and Israeli motives to gain nuclear weapons, as well as individual development acquiring nuclear program. In conclusion, the work outlines the relationship between Israel and Iran since the revolution to the present, and whether the relationships were affected nuclear program.
