Maemo Demonstration Application
Šplíchal, Jakub ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Filák, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with mobile operating systems using the Linux kernel. The main part is focused on creating applications for smart ringing profiles for Maemo operating system. This allows to automatically set the profile automatically on the basis of various rules, such as WiFi network name. The application itself has been implemented in C++ using Qt libraries. The application demonstrates appliances and tools to access relevant data and other necessary operations.

Implementation of Personal Scheduler
Filák, Jakub ; Květoňová, Šárka (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to explore the possibilities of the time scheduling and to create a tool for its simplification. Besides managing personal tasks and events, the tool can also be used for planning appointments with other users, mainly due to a user diaries sharing and a searching tool for appropriate dates. The first part of the thesis deals with the technologies employed, followed with a part concerning the requirements for the time scheduling tool and a description of an implementation of the tool. In the last part the programme capabilities are evaluated, along with the results of the work.

Evolutionary Optimization of Tour Timetables
Filák, Jakub ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of vehicle scheduling in public transport. It contains a theoretical introduction to vehicles scheduling and evolutionary algorithms. Vehicle scheduling is analyzed with respect to the bus timetables. Analysis of evolutionary algorithms is done with emphasis on the genetic algorithms and tabu-search method After the theoretical introduction, a memetic algorithm for the given problem is analyzed. Finally, the thesis contains a description of the optimization system implementation and discusses the experiments with the system.

Attributes Calculation for Prediction of Mutation Effect on Protein Function
Šinkora, Jan ; Filák, Jakub (referee) ; Jaša, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of bioinformatics, machine learning, algorithms and data structures. The thesis is based on existing applications, Caver and Deleterious, developed by students from the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University and the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology. The Deleterious framework calculates protein attributes that are important for the prediction of the effect of protein mutations on its function. Caver is a tool that finds tunnels in the 3-dimensional model of a protein. The goal of the thesis is to extend these applications by adding more attributes to the prediction process that could lead to improved prediction. The added attributes are related to detection and measurement of protein pockets.

Agent System for Searching on Real Estate Servers
Šimara, Michal ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Filák, Jakub (advisor)
Object of this bachelor thesis is design and implement an agent system for searching on real estate servers. Nowadays are agent systems one of the popular topics in artifical intelligence and offers a wide range of possible uses. One of them is searching for information on the Web. In this paper are described existing agent-based retrieval systems. They serve as insipiration to design the final system, which search information on real estate servers and create an overview of them.
