A comparison between Manslaughter in the English and Czech law
Blažek, Tomáš ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (advisor) ; Vokoun, Rudolf (referee)
1 A comparison between Manslaughter in the English and Czech law Abstract The thesis compares the Czech and English legal regulations of the crime of manslaughter. As such, it is divided into an introduction, six parts and a conclusion. It aims to provide not only a comprehensive analysis of the crime of manslaughter in both legal orders, including a subsequent comparison, but also the possible adoption of certain institutes from one legal order to the other. In the first part, it deals with the issue of the differences between the two legal systems, i.e., continental and Anglo-Saxon, as well as with the general interpretation of the crime of murder and manslaughter. In doing so, it introduces the structure of the formal sources, the interrelationship between murder and manslaughter, and the terminology of manslaughter in England. In the second part, it provides an analysis of the facts of the crime of manslaughter, with the actus reus and the mens rea being analysed more extensively than through the fragmentary optics of the crime of manslaughter. Particular emphasis is then placed on causation. The third part is devoted to the circumstances precluding illegality, which for the sake of consistency of the whole thesis, included the institutes of insanity, diminished sanity, automatism and intoxication....
Glitch Sculpture (Time)
Blažek, Tomáš ; Vítek, Jiří (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis encounters the phenomenon of error in digital technologies through a three-dimensional defective object. The geometric abstraction of the error is formed from the remains of a realistically modeled figure. The defect is entered into the production code for 3D printing via algorithms. Emphasis is placed on the applicability of such an algorithm for three-dimensional glitch art. The resulting sculpture thus looks exactly and yet relaxed in the spirit of contemporary tendencies working with error.
Interpreter of Petri Nets Formalism
Blažek, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the concept of the formalism of Petri nets, which allows to investigate the dynamic behavior of parallel and nondeterministic systems. Furthermore, this deals with its variant of Object-Oriented Petri Nets (OOPN), which aims to facilitate the process of modeling systems with an object-oriented approach. The aim of this master thesis is to design an internal representation of OOPN models, which is suitable for efficient interpretation and implement compiler from PNtalk language into the internal representation. Subsequently, design and implement an OOPN model interpreter using this internal representation of models, which in addition to Petri net objects, must also be able to work with a selected subset of objects from the Java language.
Study of the extremely rare decay K+ -> pi+nu nu with the NA62 experiment at CERN
Zamkovský, Michal ; Kampf, Karol (advisor) ; Blažek, Tomáš (referee) ; Řezníček, Pavel (referee)
The decay K+ → π+ ν¯ν has one of the most precisely predicted branch- ing ratio at the level of 10−10 . It is forbidden at the tree level, which makes it sensitive to the effects of new physics. The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS aims to measure the branching ratio of the K+ → π+ ν¯ν using a unique decay-in-flight technique. NA62 took data so far in 2016-2018. The statistics acquired in 2016 allowed to reach Standard Model sensi- tivity for K+ → π+ ν¯ν. Owing to the statistics collected in 2017, NA62 surpasses the present best sensitivity. In the scope of this thesis, the preliminary result obtained from 2017 data sample is reported. 1
System for Management and Selection of Photos
Blažek, Tomáš ; Lysek, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis was to create a system for management and selection photos, that should allow users to effectively search in a large number of photos. Criteria of selection include search by elements occurring in the photo, address of place and date of creation photo. Final result is the system implemented in Python language using open source neural network implemented in C language.
Evaluation of the building form an energy audit
Blažek, Tomáš ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is elaborating energy audit within current notice 480/2012. The first part of master's thesis deals about history of distrit heating, methods of connection handover, advantages and disadvantages of district heating. The second part analyses consuption energy of assessing bulding. The third part is energy audit.
Influence of kind of wood for quality of selected paints for exterior
Blažek, Tomáš ; Pánek, Miloš (advisor) ; Zeidler, Aleš (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide lay persons as well as specialists in the field with information about a suitable surface treatment method for various types of wood and about the impact of the choice of wood on the coating durability when used outdoors, so that they make a sound judgement upon these findings. The diploma theses is divided into several parts containing an introduction into the problem of degradation of wood used outdoors, a description of various coatings based on natural substances, various wood modifications, principles of applying the coatings, norms providing for applying the coatings. On the basis of the tests using accelerated aging it has been found that the best results had oak with chemical modification Lignofix I-profi and final surface finish with the application of outdoor oil. The aim of the thesis is to compare selected coatings based on natural substances on selected types of modified wood. Outputs of particular tests are clearly arranged to provide a clear overview of particular measurement data. The diploma thesis also includes a clear analysis of particular coating materials with respect to their acquisition costs compared to their degradation and their utility.
Heating residential building
Blažek, Tomáš ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis are issues of condensing boilers in theoretical part. The computational part solves design of heating and hot water in residential building in Kyjov. The four-floor residential building is situated in slightly bulit-up area. It consists of 9 flats for 24 persons. The heat source for this building is a gas condensing boiler. The heating surface consist of steel panel radiators, tubular heaters and convectors.
Project of Photovoltaic Power Plant Grid Connection
Blažek, Tomáš ; Procházka, Aleš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with photovoltaic technology and economic evaluation of used technology equipment. The first part describes the technology for extraction of power from photovoltaic sources - transformer 22/0,4kV and its basic parts. Then there is the calculation of the amount of openings for cooling the transformer according to ČSN 33 3240. The second part focuses on the description of the major part of the photovoltaic plant. Here are divided solar panels on the material from which they are produced and the type of installation in the field. Next is describe the types of inverters, their principles and functions. The last part compares the different types of transformers and operating costs over the lifetime of plants (20 years), are described factors for proper selection of inverters and solar panels.
Supplier Quality Management
Blažek, Tomáš ; Štěpán, Roman (referee) ; Němeček, Petr (advisor)
