The Creating a Business Plan
Bača, Václav ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Vítková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with a description of a business plan and with the process of its composition. The theoretical part outlines different forms of enterprises and defines laws that govern them. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes the process of the establishment of the limited liability company. It also provides a description of the situational analysis with all its steps, as well as the financial plan. The practical part of this thesis introduces a company hodnyvasek s.r.o. (llc). Moreover, it elaborates the organizational structure of the company, the situational analysis, and the marketing plan. Based on the results from the situational analysis, the financial plan is developed in the practical part of the thesis. At the end, the efficiency of investment is calculated by return on invested capital.
Performance of Evaluation of the Constuction Company
Bača, Václav ; Hort, Eva (referee) ; Vítková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis concentrates on a development of financial analysis of the company KOMA Modular, Ltd. Vertical and horizontal analysis is conducted based on selected financial statements that are used as the main source of information for the analysis. Furthermore, one of the golden rules of financial accounting, financial ratios, and aggregate indexes are executed. The thesis is concluded with the commentary on results of financial analysis. Moreover, the company is given certain financial suggestions.
Anthropometric-Biomechanical Characteristics of Selected Parts of the Human Skeleton Based on Principal Loads and Stiffnesses
Kuchař, Michal ; Slížová, Dáša (advisor) ; Báča, Václav (referee) ; Brůžek, Jaroslav (referee)
Skeleton is a basic supporting system of the human body and a passive substrate for any possible movement, while the shape and mechanical properties of a single bone are given both by the embryological origin and its function. The bone can transfer mechanical load with an optimal amount of energy, and this power flow can be documented by mechanical testing or computational modelling. The author decided on the latter and tried to define the main stiffnesses as one of the most important internal modalities to determine overall bone quality. Stiffness is a widely used biomechanical measure reflecting geometric, topologic and material properties of a given bone. It is defined as a resistance of a bone against deformation in response to an applied force. This thesis aims to study and describe a characteristic bone stiffness of a CT based virtual models using the spectral decomposition of a stiffness matrix. The characteristic stiffness as a brand-new descriptor of bone tissue will be further correlated with the bone density spatial distribution and matched against a set of chosen anthropometric measurements to test its sex-specificity. Additionally, an automatic system capable of recognising and generating anthropometric landmarks on a bone will be developed as a side result. The localisation of the...
Morphology of the Proximal Human Femur in Relation to Fractures of Trochanteric Massif
Báča, Václav ; Stingl, Josef (advisor) ; Koudela, Karel (referee) ; Chomiak, Jiří (referee) ; Laichman, Stanislav (referee)
AIM: Fractures of proximal end, especially fractures of trochanteric massif are very common particularly in old patients. The aim of the work was to try to find a morphological correlate of trochanteric fractures in the region of proximal end of the human femur. It means to find if a "locus minoris resistentiae" for trochanteric fractures origin exists. METHOD: The detailed overview of literature on femur as a bone, classification of trochanteric fractures and treatment of proximal end of the femur was accomplished (sources from medieval books to recent anatomical and clinical studies). Czech and Latin terminological aspect (Terminologia anatomica 1998) of the femur as well as their development were carefully studied. 40 femurs from embalmed bodies with muscles and ligaments were studied by detailed dissection. 99 X-ray pictures of pertrochanteric fractures were checked. 106 dry femurs from the vascular canal distribution point of view were evaluated and compared with previous group of X-rays. Statistic evaluation of normal distribution according to Kolmogorov-Smirnov's test and Liliefors's modification was made in 15 regions of trochanteric massif. 20 dry femurs according to Heřt, Fiala and Petrtýl's method were repeatedly ground to depict the central vascular canals and to describe the course of osteons...
Trochanteric fracture - clinical, anatomical and biomechanical aspects, therapy options, complications
Bartoška, Radek ; Báča, Václav (advisor) ; Čapek, Lukáš (referee) ; Pilný, Jaroslav (referee)
Hip fractures are mainly problems of the elderly population. The incidence in the Czech Republic is one of the highest in the world. They include a pertrochanteric fracture. One possibility of its therapy is intramedullary nailing. The advantages of the nailing is allowing a sliding effect of the proximal fragment which leads to better contact between fragments. Surgical procedure has its own risks and complications. We decided to evaluate a group of patients with pertrochanteric fractures treated in 2009-2011 with the PFN Medin. We analyzed the sliding effect and factors which can influence it and complications. The study cohort covers 304 patients. We found out that the sliding effect was in 195 cases (67.1%). The type of the fracture did not affect the sliding. There was no significant difference depending on the length or screw placement in the proximal fragment. We found following complications:3 medial displacement (0.9%), 6 varus collapses (1.9%), 4 necroses of the head of the femur (1.3%) , 13 cases of the femoral neck resorption (4.3%), 10 fractures around the nail (3.2%), 4 Z- effects (1.3%) and 3 "cut-out" phenomena (1.0%). We have created a model of stable and unstable fractures with the finite element method. The analyzes focused on the placement of the neck screw, showed that in stable...
