Polička riding hall

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and assess the wooden riding hall for horses. The object is located in Polička. The construction has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 21 m x 42 m and arched roof. The design is made of glued laminated wood, solid wood and steel elements. The basic supporting elements are full-thickness girders made of glued laminated wood which statically act as double-jointed arches. Steel transverse stiffeners and purlins that provide stability to the trusses are designed from a solid wood.

Roman spa - sauna world

The subject of the master´s thesis is the architectural study of Spa world at Brno dam. The Spa is designed as part of the Aqua park, which was solved in atelier´s project. The building is located close to the Brno dam in hilly terrain. The proposed Spa world offers visitors the opportunity to relax, rehabilitation and entertainment in a variety of saunas. The Aqua Park is also a restaurant, massage, fitness center, shop, indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Employment of people with autism spectrum disorders

The bachelor thesis deals with adult people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, especially Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism, in connection with their employment in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to find out the labour opportunities and the support for these people. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a case study. Introductory chapter describes Autism in general and defines all of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The second chapter is already focused on adults and the problems they face and which often set apart the current society. The third section includes the possibilities of employment for people with autism, supported employment services, the legislative framework of people with disabilities and last the benefits which employment of persons with autism provides. Case study in the end of the thesis concerns a man with autism who used supported employment services and found a job that suits him. German loanwords in Russian and Czech languages

This thesis is concerned with German loanwords in Russian and Czech languages. The main aim was to create a dictionary based on comparison of phonetically resembling equivalents of German words in Russian and Czech, to explain their semantic and stylistic differences and classify them with respect to their productive or perceptive character. In order to achieve this goal first of all it was necessary to establish a key to choose the words which will be used in this work. For this task Краткий этимологический словарь русского языка: Пособие для учителя was selected as the main source. The choice was made due to a fact that this book is intended for primary and secondary school teachers and, therefore, contains words which are most likely to appear while teaching Russian language. The only criterion for choosing words from this book was whether they are loanwords from German or not. All the words borrowed from German were first translated into Czech. If there were not any translations which have similar pronunciation to the original Russian word a phonetically resembling word was chosen. In case similar words with German origin are found in both Czech and Russian their meaning and stylistic usage in contemporary language are compared. The work is divided into five chapters. Farmer's marketplaces as a restoration of tradition

The theoretical part of this thesis defines the terms distribution and marketplaces. It is also concerned with the agricultural production of the Czech Republic and the quality of products on the Czech market. In the closing part there is a detailed description of farmer's marketplaces in the Czech Republic from 2009 until now and also the problematic aspects related to this kind of sale and its grant support. The practical part is based on intended aims, hypothesis and used methodology, and describes the course of farmer's marketplaces in two surveyed locations (South Bohemia and Prague) on various levels. It deals with an inspection of these farmer's marketplaces by the surveillance authorities of the Czech Republic, a complete analysis of these marketplaces, and a comparison of chosen marketplaces which were visited by the author of this work. Next is an evaluation of a questionnaire survey upon which the consumers' stance to this type of sale is being based. This includes people who do shop at these marketplaces as well as people who do not. In the end of the practical part all gained data are gathered, possible improvements are suggested, and the possible future development of this type of sale is proposed.

Analysis of employment of handicapped people in the Czech Republic

The main topic of the bachelor thesis is employment of handicapped people in the Czech Republic, their possibilities to be fully accepted in the labor market. The goal of this thesis is to define the labor opportunities of disabled people and find out wheather the organisation helping those people succeed meets its goal. The introductory chapter will focus on general characteristics of people with disabilities and their possition in society and in the labor market. Next chapter presents the legislative framework of the issue from both points of view: employers and employees (especially by Act. No. 435/2004 Coll., on employment). In the analytical part of the thesis I will introduce The Endowment Fund for Promoting Employment of Handicapped Individuals. This institution is in charge of several projects trying to inform the public about the work of people with disabilities. In the last part I will target on one specific project of the Endowment Fund, I will do the research on the implementation of the objectives of the project and I will analyze its success. As a method of research I will use the direct interview with the initiators of the project and the questionnaire survey of all companies participating in the project.

The perspectives of selling (organic) milk in milk vending machines

The theoretical part of this work deals with a conventional and enviromental breeding of cattle and then with the production, quality and consumption of conventional and organic milk within the Czech Republic. It also describes the development of the cost prices paid by dairies to farmers. Practical part of the work presents the evaluation of the quastionnaire investigation concentrated on the vending milk machine owners and then on producers or distributors of these devices that were in operation at the investigated territories (at the territories of South Bohemia and Prague) at the time of the beginning of this work. The questioned people were asked by phone, rarely and at their own request they answered by email. The results were formed into the conclusion related to the economic justification of the operation of these devices. Futher possibilities of the development of this distribution of milk including new trends have been suggested.
