Mentoring in the Master Study Programme Intensive Care

The thesis deals with the issue of mentoring in the field of Intensive Care. The aim of the thesis was to find out what ideas professional practice mentors in Intensive Care have about fulfilling their role and why the interviewed nurses have the role of mentor. What and how influences their approach in mentoring. How the approach to nurse mentors could be streamlined to influence the future shape of professional practice. In order to gain insight into the issues under investigation, the research was conducted in the form of qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data with eight nurses who act as professional practice mentors in the field of intensive care and work in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady with different lengths of experience and level of education. Interpretative phenomenological analysis was used to interpret the data. On the basis of the conducted research it was found that the interviewed mentors perform their role responsibly, but they lack motivation for self-education in the field of mentoring. They strive to lead their mentees to the final practical exam equipped with as many practical skills as possible, but they do not feel enough support from their employer or the faculty...
Marketing communication of companies wia corporate periodicals on example of the Čilichili magazine

The diploma thesis deals with corporate magazines, namely those that are aimed at customers. Customized corporate periodicals include selected magazine ČiliChili. It is examined in terms of marketing and media communication. The paper summarizes the history and current situation in the field of corporate periodicals, available literature and theory. The methodical basis of this thesis is quantitative content analysis and qualitative method - oral history method. The analysis focuses mainly on linking editorial and marketing content. The editorial part examines the scope of contributions, text and image structure, themes, the presence of marketing tools, their language, and so on. The work also examines the trends of the magazine from 2004 to 2016. The interview method with witnesses complements the work of otherwise inaccessible information. The results of the quantitative analysis are summed up together with the information obtained from the interviews with the witnesses.
City Cards as a Tool of Public Administration and Policy of Tourism

This bachelor's thesis focuses on city cards. The thesis examines two kinds of cards -- city cards for residents which are a tool of public administration and city cards for tourists which are tool of policy of tourism. Implementation of these cards has increasing trend in recent years. We can observe a growing demand especially for cards for tourists. This thesis is devoted to card's description and usability. The thesis deals with a specific example of experience/tourist card - Taborcard. It is dedicated to its creation and its functioning.
