cze Abstract:
Z...The thesis deals with the issue of mentoring in the field of Intensive Care. The aim of the thesis was to find out what ideas professional practice mentors in Intensive Care have about fulfilling their role and why the interviewed nurses have the role of mentor. What and how influences their approach in mentoring. How the approach to nurse mentors could be streamlined to influence the future shape of professional practice. In order to gain insight into the issues under investigation, the research was conducted in the form of qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data with eight nurses who act as professional practice mentors in the field of intensive care and work in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady with different lengths of experience and level of education. Interpretative phenomenological analysis was used to interpret the data. On the basis of the conducted research it was found that the interviewed mentors perform their role responsibly, but they lack motivation for self-education in the field of mentoring. They strive to lead their mentees to the final practical exam equipped with as many practical skills as possible, but they do not feel enough support from their employer or the faculty...
