Jana Šindelářová DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. RNDr. Hana Voňková, Ph.D. et Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of this thesis is to find out why Czech secondary school students chose to study French as their second foreign language and how satisfied they are with this decision. The theoretical part concerns itself with teaching languages in European schools and in the Czech Republic with the focus on French language. Furthermore, it deals with the status of French language both in the world and in the Czech Republic, and with the benefits the knowledge of French language brings. The empirical part of this thesis depicts a research conducted by means of questionnaire construction. The sample was 100 students from the lower and 163 students from the higher stage of secondary schools called "gymnasium" (grammar school) in Prague. (185 girls and 78 boys) The research shows that students chose the foreign language mainly themselves and the most frequent reason for choosing French was that they liked the language in general. Evaluative prefixes archi-, super-, hyper-, extra- in present-day French

This work is concerned with using of evaluative prefixes of types archi-, extra-, hyper- and super- in french. The theoretical part concentrates on connecting of these prefixes with different types of words, like nouns, adjectives, adverbs and verbs. We are concerned above all with adjectives, where these prefixes are used when forming an absolute superlative. Further ways of forming an absolute superlative are specified here for comparison with the use of these prefixes. Furthermore, this work examines the use of these lexemes as single standing words. The practical part targets concrete examples of prefix connections archi-, extra-, hyper-, super- with adjectives used by native speakers. The target is to investigate according to which rule these prefixes are connected with adjectives, which one is the most and the least used and if there is any diference in using these prefixes among men and women. Jana Šindelářová Alteration of transport proteins expression during obstructive cholestasis in rats I Diploma thesis Charles University in Prague, Fakulty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Pharmacy Background: The purpose of the diploma thesis was the confirmation of liver cholestatic damage induced by bile duct obstruction lastnig for 28 days by biochemical analysis and analysis of mRNA and protein expression of liver uptake transporters in rats (Ntcp, Oatp1a1, Oatp1a4, Oatp1b2, Oat2). Methods: Wistar rats (n = 6, in each group; 280 - 320g) were dividend in two groups: control group of sham-operated animals (Sham) and group with bile duct obstruction lastnig for 28 days (BDO). Biochemical analysis of serum was performed by Cobas Integra ® 800. Changes of mRNA and protein expression of transport proteins were evaluated by qRT-PCR and Western blot. Results: In BDO group, level of bile acids increased to 454%, level of total bilirubin to 4111% and level of conjugated bilirubin to 7313% as compared to control group. In comparison to control group, activity of ALP was elevated to 238%, activity of GMT to 2826%, activity of ALT to 1200% and activity of AST to 1378%. As compared to Sham group BDO group showed decreased mRNA levels of Ntcp to 51% and of Oatp1a4 to 38%. No signifiant changes were found in...

The Origin and the Development of Selected Aspect of Rules of Rhytmical Gymnastics and their Efect on the Exercises

Moderní gymnastika je ryze ženským sportovním odvětvím, které právem zaujímá jedno z předních míst mezi estetickými sporty. Během své šedesátileté historie zaznamenala ve svém vývoji řadu zásadních změn, které podstatně změnily pojetí a obsah sestav moderních gymnastek. Neexistuje však žádná publikace, která by vývoj pravidel a s nimi souvisejících změn uceleně zpracovala. Rozhodla jsem se tedy, že se tohoto úkolu zhostím v rámci své diplomové práce. A proč právě pravidla moderní gymnastiky? Jedenáct let jsem se tomuto sportu věnovala závodně. Když jsem naposledy odcházela ze závodního koberce, věděla jsem, že chci u tohoto sportu zůstat, a tak již desátým rokem působím jako trenérka a rozhodčí v jednom malém jihočeském sportovním klubu. Moderní gymnastika je tedy součástí mého každodenního života už přes dvacet let. Sama pamatuji řadu podstatných změn, kterými toto sportovní odvětví za poslední dvě desetiletí prošlo, neustále srovnávám současnou gymnastiku s tou, kterou jsem jako závodnice zažila já. Zajímalo by mne tedy, jaké vůbec byly počátky tohoto sportu a jak se moderní gymnastika a její pravidla vyvíjela v době, kterou já nepamatuji. Také proto jsem zvolila toto téma diplomové práce. V práci se tedy snažím přehledně srovnat vývoj některých aspektů pravidel moderní gymnastiky od úplného počátku až po...

Innovation Aspects of the Electronic Toll System in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the innovation of information system (IS) as a decision problem. The main objective of this thesis is the construction and the application of a method to select an optimal innovation variant of IS in an organisation of any scale. The designed method is based on the conception of the innovation of IS in the methodology "Multidimensional Management and Development of Information System (MMDIS)". The proposed selection method (Method of Innovation Modules based on MMDIS - MIM) is intended to serve mainly for decision-making on a strategic level. The IS structure is mapped in accordance with the MMDIS methodology. Innovation aspects are derived from two approaches: innovation aspects based on the MMDIS principles ("module of principles" - e.g. integration, flexibility, standardisation, measurability) and innovation aspects based on the IS dimensions defined in MMDIS methodology ("module of dimensions" - e.g. software, hardware, processes and functions, finances). The proposal method enforces a systematic approach to evaluation of the innovation variants, ensuring that the innovation aspects (the principles and the dimensions) are aligned with key requirements. As an example, this method is applied to an existing electronic toll system operated in the Czech Republic. Basic innovation variants of the electronic toll system are described - the microwave, the satellite and the hybrid toll system. Case studies from the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany are used for support the proposed innovation variants, as well as evaluation of variants. The principles and the dimensions form a framework for description and evaluation of the telematics, of the electronic toll and of the innovation variants of the electronic toll. The variants are compared within the framework of refined principles and dimensions, the optimal variant is proposed. The used evaluation parameters are a result of an analysis of published studies and specific toll system technical designs. The Method of Innovation Modules was constructed on the basis of MMDIS methodology and demonstrated by application in an example scenario (electronic toll). The key result of the proposed method is the comprehensive structured map of available system innovation opportunities.

Marketingová kampaň založená na vyhledávacích strojích

Tématem bakalářské práce je search engine marketing (SEM) v České republice. Cílem práce je především komplexně popsat proces marketingové kampaně ve vyhledávačích, což je realizováno definicí a charakteristikou analytické, implementační a kontrolní fáze procesu. Jsou popsány základní principy SEM. Vychází se z teoretické definice SEM a jeho základních linií ? optimalizace pro vyhledávače (SEO) a placené odkazy ve vyhledávačích, zohledňuje se aktuální situace na trhu a odhaduje se budoucí vývoj. Práce nabízí ucelený pohled na český trh search engine marketingu, předkládá informace o využívání internetu v České republice a charakterizuje největší hráče na poli SEM (vyhledávače, internetové marketingové agentury a systémy PPC reklamy). Popsána je oblast metrik SEM. Práce zmiňuje také otázku etiky SEO. Praktická část textu popisuje on-line nástroje sloužící k analýze a optimalizaci webu, zejména nástroje pro klíčová slova. Problematiku dokreslují přiložené reálné SEO analýzy webu.
