Behavior of traditional carpentry structures

Bachelor’s thesis “Behave of traditional carpenter structures“ analyzes the behavior of traditional timber roof trusses. Based on the actual design of roof trusses tree-dimensional computational models are created, individual structural elements are assessed on the first and second limit state and one connection are considered. For the analysis of planar and tree-dimensional model programme SCIA Engineer 2011.1. is used.

Sexual abuse, its depictions in literture for child and voung adults and its potential to use it in school practise

The aim of this postgraduate dissertation, entitled Sexual abuse, its depiction in literature for child and young adults and its potential to use it in school, is to introduce a reader to general informations about sexual abuse of children, to draw up general principles used in fiction literature and try to offer a concrete oportunity to work with these texts in literature classes. The thesis should point to importance and seriousness of these problems, make an appeal to timely prevention and familiarization of children/students with this problem and provide concrete materials and idea show to work with this topic. The theoretical part of the work deals generally with the taboo, its forms, historical shifts and its present form. Furthermore the issue of sexual abuse in terms of professional literature is discussed, which will help us in the practical work with the understanding and assessment of the fictional literature. The practical part deals with the analysis of particular books of fiction, specifically a book by Ann Dee Ellis This is what I did…and a book by Bryan Talbot The Tale of One Bad Rat and their didactic potential at literary education classes. Diagnosis of Organizational Culture in a chosen Organization

This diploma thesis deals with the Diagnosis of organizational culture in selected organization which is particularly a food company Kraft Foods CR. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the organizational culture in this organization through a Denison method of questionnaire survey and using my own observation. Then, based on the information gathered from the survey, I suggest to the management of the organization recommendations and actions that could lead to greater employee satisfaction and thus also to higher performance of the entire organization. The purpose of this thesis is not to change the organizational culture in the organization afterwards, only to support it and enhance its better perception among employees.

Limits and Risks of Public-Private Partnerships Development

Objective of this diploma thesis is to identify risks and barriers connected with expansion of using the Public-Private Partnership concept, fractional objective is to identify limiting factors which affect still not very developed PPP projects in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to definition of PPP concept and explanation of its specific characteristics in providing of public goods. The practical part is focused on chosen projects. On this sample are limits of expansion of using PPPs identified and analysed using the method of partial generalization. On the basis of analysis of available literature and qualitative research made there are suggested possible solutions.
