Facilities of Civil Protection for Sheltering Persons in Permanent Shelters

This bachelor thesis deals with the Facilities of civil protection for sheltering persons in permanent shelters. Current valid legislation for the establishment of civil protection is listed there and the concepts and terminology related to the theme of work used in text are explained. This work provides the insight into the history of civil protection in the Czech Republic. In a section the plan to set the permanent shelter to the state of preparedness is drafted, stating the policies and procedures. A proposal of documentation necessary for the handover, takeover and operation of a permanent shelter is furthermore mentioned in the bachelor thesis, including the methodology for shelter garrison activities in the conditions of city district Brno-sever.

Factors Affecting Modal Choice in Passenger Transport

The thesis examines factors affecting modal choice in passenger transport. Firstly, it analyzes theoretical approaches to this research topic. Then comes the main part of the thesis, where the author discusses with the literature particular factors such as the physical environment public transport services in the area, socio-demographic aspects and environmental, economic and psychological factors, which fundamentally influence the transport behavior of the population. Then follows an empirical part which is a pilot experimental study of factors affecting modal choice on the example of the municipality of Kluky near Mladá Boleslav (CZE). The author confirms the impact of the previously discussed factors, which are: residential structure, car ownership, quality and availability of public transport service, family situation but also individual preferences and influence of what is generally regarded as a norm. Environmental Education and pupils' transport behaviour of selected Elementary School in Czechia

This thesis deals with the environmental education and the modal choice of transport, especially pupils traveling to school. The main object of the thesis is to determine, whether has the environmental education positive impact to a transport behavior of pupils and to their exploitation environmentally friendly means of transport. First part of the thesis is based on czech and foreign literature, it represents importance of the environment for people and other animals and plant species and deals with impact of transport on environment. This part also analyzes the environmental education and its possibilities, position and legislative and curricular anchoring in these times, everything with emphasis on influence of transport on the environment. Empirical part of the thesis is connected with first theoretical part of the thesis. Through a survey at czech elementary schools this part analyzes view of schools on transport and environmental issues and main factors, which influence modal choice. Two Prague elementary schools situated in similar type of a housing development with different approach to teaching the environmental education are studied in detail. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the key aspects of the surveillance in the contemporary social media reality. It aims to take note of the basic approaches and theories in the field of surveillance and tries to fully describe and understand the impact of the - so called social media in the (post) modern situation, using the position of the interdisciplinary field of Surveillance studies, and also the works of M. Foucault, G. Deleuze etc., with the emphasis put on the theoretical and practical aspects of surveillance and monitoring of the modern media reality. The work also aims to bring balanced, sometimes critical view on the contemporary means of online communication and the tools, or means, that can be used to monitor the users of the internet - with, or without their consent or notion. Reform of the banking system in France

The diploma thesis focuses on the reform of the bank sector of France passed by the legislators in 2013. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the overall characteristics of the French economy and on the macroeconomic development of the country since 2008. The second part describes the bank system of France and contains stress tests performed at selected bank institutions. The final part focuses on the actual reform of the bank system and portrays some concrete measures taken. The thesis also contains a brief comparison of the bank reform made in 2009 in Spain and the reform that is currently taking place in France.

Financing of the secondary level of education in the Czech Republic - case study

The bachelor thesis focuses on the ways of financing the secondary level of education in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into three parts. The first part concentrates on individual financial resources of secondary schools and the possibilities of their usage. The emphasis has been placed mainly on the means from the state budget distributed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The second part consists of the comparison of the Czech Republic with OECD countries with the help of selected indicators of secondary schools area. The final, third, part focuses on the management of Gymnázium Vrchlabí between the years of 2007 -- 2010. The attention is mainly paid to interannual differencies and their causes. The thesis also includes possible recommendations leading to an improvement in the financial situation of the selected school.
