Neuroinformatics: calibration methods in multicentric MR studies

Work deals with methods of calibration of multi-center study of magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetic resonance is the phenomenon of the substance in a magnetic field of induction B0 delivers energy in the form of RF pulse with the Larmor frequency and thus to excite particles to higher energy levels. Calibration can be performed using the distinctive and homogeneous RF phantoms. Furthermore, we can perform calibration using image registration. To calibrate the images by registering the work described in the classical linear (affine) and nonlinear. Listed below are the simulators, which are also useful for modeling various artifacts.

Machine learning for analysis of MR images of brain

The thesis is focused on methods of machine learning used for recognising the first stage of schizophrenia in images from nuclear-magnetic resonance. The introduction of this paper is focused primarily on physical principles. Further in this work, the attention is given to registration methods, reduction of data set and machine learning. In the classification part, simmilarity rates, support vectors´ method, K-nearest neighbour classification and K-means are described. The last stage of theoretical part is focused on evaluation of the clasification. In practical part the results of reduction data set by methods PCA, CRLS-PCA and subjects PCA are described. Furthermore, the practical part is focused on pattern recognition by methods K-NN, K-means and test K-NN method on real data. Abnormalities which are recognised by some classification methods can distinguish patients with schizophrenia from healthy controls.

Myofunctional disorder in children

Thesis "Myofunctional disorder of children" is about myofunctional disorder with a focus on logopedics and issues of human speech. The whole work has, however, significantly multidisciplinary character. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on orofacial complex, swallowing and speech complex in all its breadth. It is also focused on nutrition problems at an early age and on related activities. Readers can also find information about orthodontic anomalies that are directly related to myofunctional disorder. A large area is dedicated to myofunctional disorder itself - terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, prevention and therapy. As an important section of practical part of the work serves a research on a sample of 15 children diagnosed with myofunctional disorder. The sample was subjected to qualitative analysis, where an outcome demonstrates 3 case studies demonstrating the degree of seriousness of 3 myofunctional disorders. Additionally, there is also simple quantitative analysis and its outcome is an overview chart. Diagnosis of children with ASD - psychological aspects of diagnosis based on the interviews with parents

The bachelor thesis about the diagnosis of children with PAS - psychological aspects of the diagnosis making based on interviews with parents, deals with the problems of autism. The theoretical part contains information about PAS, its types and the so called autistic triad. The reader will be informed about the process of accepting the diagnose, about partnership or parentship and last but not least, about the problems one has to face after accepting his diagnose. The empirical part is focused on describing the process of diagnosis of PAS starting with the observation of the child's different behaviour and the necessary examinations, up to making the diagnosis. The thesis examines the skills of the doctors who take part in the diagnosis process and the way the they let the parents know about it. Furthermore, it deals with the changes that occur in a family, a member of which is diagnosed with PAS. It focuses mainly on the mental aspects of mothers dealing with such a severe diagnose of their children and changing their lives drastically. Problems like the unemployment, or social isolation of such mothers after the birth of their stricken children are taken into consideration too. In order to get the information about the experience of such mothers, semistructured interviews were used.

The Problems of developement the region neighbouring the military area Brdy

This diploma paper is about problems, which shepherd the region in proximity the military area Brdy. This region is among others situated in inner periphery, which brings another problems in development this region. The main aim this paper are to find at the first how big influence has attendance military area to development this region, if it is positiv or negativ, and why. Next aims this work are analyze development this region since 1990 till this time, findings if stepwise open border parts of military area is positiv for development this region and how the municipals in surround feel this case. Next aim is findings how municipals and their citizens feel possibly build-up american military base, where should have be situated american radar. Last aim of this work is adumbration possibly future development at the base ascertained results. In first part of this paper is debate literature and definitions, which consider problems of development peripheral or marginal areas. In the next part is described interest area, its character and its development. Regional aspects of transformational development of the German federal states

výsledky, představuje časté téma odborných diskusí, i když převážně v rámci ekonomické obce. Podobně je tomu v případě komparace použitých strategií a privatizačních metod. Pozoruhodné však je, že v české odborné literatuře je poněkud opomíjen příklad transformace východoněmecké ekonomiky, pravděpodobně pro její unikátní podmínky. V rámci transformačního procesu, který se vyznačoval obrovskými náklady, byla pak věnována jen minimální pozornost jeho regionálním (geografickým) aspektům. Monografie zabývající se transformačním procesem z tohoto pohledu se objevují až od poloviny 90. let minulého století (Pohl 2002, Blien, Wolf 2001, Moravcová 2000, Niebuhrová 1999, Eckart 1998, Bosch 1995). Průběh ekonomické transformace nových spolkových zemí Německa a s ní souvisejících dopadů na německé hospodářství je v SRN stále jedno z často diskutovaných témat. V současnosti - ve světle nepříznivé ekonomické situace nejen východní části země, ale i Německa jako celku -již jednoznačně převažuje negativní hodnocení přijaté šokové transformační strategie. Je také zřejmé, že u vědomí těch nejvýznamnějších sociálně ekonomických (i politických) konsekvencí nezdařilé transformace jsou otázky regionálního vývoje vnímány jako druhořadé. Regional Allocation of Support from Operational Program Human Resources Development

The human resources and their development are presently often discussed in connection with the development and competitiveness of the regions and states. Since the Czech Republic has joined to the European Union, human resources could exploit a support from European Social Funds (ESF) for their development. The aim of the thesis is the evidence how is divide grants from European Social Funds are splitted through of Operational Program Human Resources Development (OP HRD) among the regions of the Czech Republic and if is support respect relevance in consideration of quality human resources. Analysis of territorial allocation of grant is based on the data from central Monitoring System of Structural Funds. As a result of the thesis is a regional framework of allocation of support from grants project OP HRD. After results comparison of territorial allocation of grant with territorial differentiation of quality human resources it followed, that support for the development of human resources from ESF granted by the project OP HRD in the Czech Republic is not mostly focused on the regions with the lowest quality of human resources.
