Effects of dispersal and local processes on genetic structure of populations Daphnia curvirostris and Daphnia pulex: genetic variability within and among river flood-plains
Repovský, Marek ; Seďa, Jaromír (referee) ; Černý, Martin (advisor)
- 3 - Abstract Only a few studies have compared patterns of genetic variation among populations of different Daphnia species in the case of natural systems of river catchments. We assumed that as a result of dendritic nature of rivers and streams, the most genetic differentiation should be found between populations from different catchments and the least should be in the same sub-catchment. This is beacause it is much easier for animals restricted to passive dispersal via stream channel to disperse between adjacent streams in the same sub-catchment than between catchments. Using allozyme data based on six polymorphic enzyme loci, we present an analysis of genetic differentiation among 45 Daphnia curvirostris and 39 Daphnia pulex populations, separated by less than 100 m to more than 500 km from each other. The genetic population structure of the two species was strikingly similar, consistent with their similar metapopulation ecology. The mean FST value (differentiation within populations) was 0.32 and 0.30 and a hierarchical analysis showed that most genetic differentiation was between populations (68 and 70 %), less was present among populations within catchments (26 and 19 %) and the least was present among whole catchments (6 and 11 %). In spite of the large range of geographic distances, there was only...

Computer Reminiscence Therapy involves technology in this therapy. The research introduces into Dementia and Reminiscence Therapy with and without using technologies. The application developed as part of this diploma thesis uses picture upload and speech recognition techniques for the memory input. This is used to support remembering of past memories and to increase discussion. The application can be used with or without the carer as well as with friends and family members. The six most important requirements on the developed application are the speech recognition, picture upload, asking questions about the previous recordings, asking questions about tagged friends, using old stories for discussion and presenting the statistics. The application was developed as a part of the competition made by AngelHack organization. Presentation, business and persistence layers of the application are discussed in this diploma thesis as well as user manual and persistence layer implementation of the requirements. The presentation layer was developed using React framework for JavaScript. Other libraries have to be used as well with the most important being Redux library for storing application state. This library affected the structure of the persistence layer.

Analysis of Encipherement Methods for Disk Cloning
Chromečka, Jiří ; Černý, Martin (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The presented text deals with designing of a multilingual application and its following implementation in the C++ language. The application encrypts disk volumes with Microsoft Windows system using symmetric cryptography and password authentication, where the password security strength is verified. Securing the sensitive data is one of the important security goals in area of information technology. The symmetric cryptography uses the same key for both the encryption and the decryption and due to its speed it is suitable for the data storage encryption. For the higher security it is possible to encrypt a whole disk volume with sensitive data.

GIS ANALYSIS IN BUILDING INFORMATION MODELS
Černý, Martin ; Kubíček,, Petr (referee) ; Vyhnálek,, Rudolf (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Lubomil (advisor)
This dissertation thesis are concerned about the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analyses inside of the Building Information Models (BIM). BIM and GIS are compared from different points of view like data organization, geometry types and modelling paradigms. Results of this comparisons are applied in the first case study where BIM data in IFC format are converted to the SHP format usable for spatial analyses in GIS. The results of the case study are evaluated and new approach for spatial analyses in BIM models is proposed based on the results. The new proposed approach is based on the semantic relations existing in the BIM models. Thesis are concluded with the future development which is in line with authors actual focus.

Working out of methodology for creation of building information model
Nováková, Věra ; Černý, Martin (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creation of building information model (BIM) for existing buildings. The main objective of this work is to develop the methodology (workflow) for the creation of BIM model using selected geodetic methods, specifically for the modeling based on the existing documentation of the building, the modeling from the handheld distance meter and the modeling from point cloud acquired by the indoor mapping system. The aim of these workflows is to explore the suitability of these methods, to check the limits of each method and to point out the potential issues. Revit (version 2013 and 2014) was used as an authoring environment for creation of the models. Workflow for modeling based on the documentation of the building shows how to insert drawings into Revit and how to create a model based on these drawings. The workflow was developed based on experience with creation of model of an office building. The workflow for handheld laser distance meter describes how to work with rangefinder equipped with Bluetooth, which allows user to create a model onsite. The third part of this thesis deals with creation of BIM from pointcloud acquired by indoor mobile mapping system. The workflow describes data collection and point clouds processing directly in Revit using the ScanToBIM extension. The results of this work are methodical instructions for the methods described above and the comparison of these methods. Workflows contain recommended procedures and highlight common issues and mistakes. This should enable the readers of this thesis to choose the right method and avoid common mistakes.
