Bakalářská práce se zabývá aplikací metod vícekriteriální analýzy variant při výběru vhodného serveru pro hostingovou společnost. Společnost připravuje nové technické řešení při poskytování hostingových služeb zákazníkům. Proto je nutné vybrat vhodnou serverovou konfiguraci, která bude nejlépe splňovat požadavky majitelů firmy. První část práce obsahuje teoretická východiska, kde jsou popsány základní principy, aspekty, a metody, které se při vícekriteriální analýze variant využívají. Metody a postupy popsané v této části bakalářské práce jsou poté aplikovány na konkrétní problém výběru serveru v části vlastní práce. Vlastní část práce obsahuje určení kritérií pro výběr nejvhodnějšího serveru, stanovení vah mezi těmito kritérii pomocí Saatyho matice a dále pak za použití metody TOPSIS výběr nejvhodnější varianty. Bachelor thesis deals with application methods of multiple-criteria decision making in choosing suitable server for hosting company. Hosting company is preparing new technical solution in according hosting services for their customers. Because of this reason, is necessarily to choose suitable server configuration, which will best fulfill demands of the company owners. First part consist of theoretical part, in which are described the essential principals, aspects and methods, which are used in multi-criteria decision making. Methods and actions, which are described in this part of bachelor thesis are further applied on particular issue choosing the best server in the practical part. The practical part contains an assessing of criteria for choosing the best server, setting out an importance between these criteria by using Saatys matrix and furhermore by using the TOPSIS method choosing the best alternative.
