Kohout, Pavel ; Remr, Jiří (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
The text being offered is methodological micro-tribute to the theory of market reserarch, sociological surveys and opinion polling. It analyses results of already evaluated empirical examinations about the nature of interviewing and measurement error streaming from this source. The results are discussed and completed by authors empirical experience gained in full service market research agency on both domestic and international projects. We are able to measure sampling error or, as some researchers say, errors of non-observation, but we have serious doubts about measurement and prevention of those arising in the datacollection phase. Those errors negatively affect the quality of survey results. Whether it is respondents reactions, interviewer tactics or non-respose phenomena, we are not able to foresay its volume and direction in advance. Partially, bacause those effects are interreacting. Results of sociological survey are uneasy to be generalised because of impossibility to compare data collected in diferent cultural, historical and political surroundings. The text aims to define survey quality rather in a way what it is not. The conclusions of the analyses show that it is safer to rely on prevention of the errors rather than on subsequent data processing. Also, validity and reliability schemes must be...

Family Centre as the Way from the Social Exclusion of the Mothers at the Maternity Leave
Buzková, Jana ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Mašát, Vladimír (referee)
The motherhood is the most beautiful period of live for most of mothers. The possibility to have a baby and be with him every time is the best what they can have, but this period is no only beautiful, happy time. A lot of mothers, who are on a maternity leave, can have several problems, which can make mothers' lives less happy and beautiful and sometimes very sad and lonely. The situation in our society seems to be better for singles or people without children. They can better do their own career; they can better work, than mothers with babies. That is why they are in public opinion " more useful" than families with children. When a woman have a baby, it is more difficult to find a job for her, because nobody (almost) wants to employ a woman with small child, who will be probably ill very often and the woman will have to be at home with him. The situation of mothers with babies is not very good sometimes for those who are at home and do not find a job, too. It is difficult to go somewhere with baby-coach or with crying baby. It can happen, that these mothers have to hear, their child is noisy and they baby-coach takes a lot of space, from people around. The possibility of meeting other adults is less then it was before. There is small possibility to go to a theatre, a cinema, a gallery, as well. The fact,...

Václav Kosmák
Jantačová, Martina ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (referee) ; Stejskalová, Anna (advisor)
Diplomová práce představuje život a nejznámější díla neprávem opomíjeného moravského spisovatele 19. století Václava Kosmáka (1843 - 1898). Zobrazuje realisticky všední i romantické typy venkovských a maloměstských postav.
My diploma thesis aims to assess the planned amendment to the law on local fees and show the changes that have to occur. The planned amendment changes slightly rights and responsibilities of the municipality in the implementation of local taxes. In my diploma thesis we deal in detail with two kinds of charges - local fee for spa or recreational stays and a local charge of accommodation capacity. Rating of planned amendment preceded by analysis of the municipalities that collect those fees. I am focusing on the revenue side of their budgets. The first two chapters are theoretical. I generally describe how the law in Czech Republic influences the structure of public administration and how it prepares the budget of the municipalities. They are characterized by certain local fees and their legislative framework. The practical part is devoted to analysis of two local taxes in 10 selected municipalities and their final share in nationwide revenue from local taxes. The final part evaluates the planned amendment, indicates and shows possible problems that could occur in the future.

Trends in the balance and material flows of phosphorus in the Czech Republic.
Hejzlar, Josef
In developed countries, many voices call for increasing the recycling of phosphorus (P) that is a strategic raw material for agriculture and other production sector; phosphorus is also causing environmental problems, for example. eutrophication. Using the methodology of material flow analysis, van Dijk et al. (Sci. Total Environ. 2016, 552: 1078-1093) quantified the main flows and stocks of P in 27 states of the European Union. The contribution presents and discusses data from that publication for the material flows P in the Czech Republic (CR) and compared with the EU. The P balance of CR shows the dependence on imported P through mineral fertilizers (1 kg/ca/yr), food and feed (1.5 kg/ca/yr) and also draws attention to significant environment losses and unused recycling potential. For example, municipal sludge (0.4 kg/ca/yr) and bone meal (0.25 kg/ca/yr) could replace 70% of the P amount in applied mineral fertilizers. P recycling rate in CR in comparison with EU-27 is below average (68% in livestock production, 21% in food production, 10% for human consumption). Agricultural production in CR still uses P reserves in the soil of mineral fertilizers in the past.
